See You Try

After a little run around outside, I walk back into court extremely calm and collected. Gray and I shifted and ran through the surrounding woods, it felt so good to finally feel like me again and another great thing! After I shifted back into my human form my arms were completely healed, it really doesn't get better than that! As I take my seat once again I spot Josh and Daisy having a conversation, she looked beyond worried with Josh trying to calm her down. Due to my wolf, I didn't hear the last part of the trial, so I was clueless on how it actually went. The jury make their way back in which causes everyone to get back in their seats, well apart from me I was already in my seat. Gray takes his while also taking my hand, he was also super nervous about this all too, no one knew if they did enough to prove her innocence. One of the jury members stood up causing everyone else to stand, apart from me and Gray as like before. "How to you find the defendant?" The judge asks the jury member, there was silence at first, it was only a few seconds long but in that moment, it felt like hours. "Guilty" he says which makes me just gasp from surprise, Daisy immediately starts to break down saying no over and over again. "Please no, I didn't do anything!" She cries, standing up pleading with the judge as I look down at the officials, they were celebrating. This causes anger just to make its way through my body, she didn't do anything wrong! This is all because they want to have some sort of revenge on me for firing them, now Daisy's been brought into it. I've known her a while now and I know she wouldn't do anything like that, she reminds me of myself in some ways, how dare they! You know what. I get up from my seat and begin to make my way out, Gray called my name over and over again but I didn't stop. I wasn't just gonna sit there and allow those men to get what they wanted, they've been getting that far too long already. I reach the huge staircase which I was at the bottom of in seconds, I start to follow the signs to the courtroom, the anger in me just boiling as I inch closer to the court. "I already know what you want me to do" my wolf smirks as I feel the Queen power running through my veins. I open the doors to the court causing everyone to turn and look at me, Daisy was still crying sat at the table while Josh, looked as though he was about to shift, people were trying to hold him back. "Your majesty?" The judge asks rising to his feet as I stand in front of everybody, this causes Daisy to look up at me shocked, she hadn't noticed me before. "You aren't meant to be in the court ma'am" one of the officials say, I just smirk looking him dead in the eyes. "I would love to see you try and remove me" I say which causes his eyes to go wide "now I want to say a few words and if anyone has a problem with that, well I couldn't care less" I say looking mainly at the officials who once again were quite shocked. "In my personal opinion, it's quite stupid that this whole trial is about an attack on me, but I am unable to speak in the trial or tell anyone what happened" I say as one of the officials try to speak but I hold my finger up at him, it's my time now"do you wanna know the reason why we're even here? These guys over there are most likely bored, anyone wanna take a guess on why they're bored? Because I fired them" I say which makes a few members of the public gasp, the officials on the other hand, looked quite annoyed at me but I just continued. "Now I nearly laughed when you said you were one of my loyal subjects, you would put yourself in front of me if I was under attack, but in the meeting I attended, the one that caused me to fire you, you were just being disrespectful, sexist pigs!" I say now walking around looking at everyone's shocked faces, haha this is fun! "But do you wanna know the main reason I fired them? You all know how Preston the former King, confessed to killing his daughter Matilda, someone witnessed what happened and reported it to the officials, all they did was push it under the carpet and act like nothing happened, they enabled the former King to do all the horrible things he did which you will learn about soon" I say walking over to stand in front of the officials, being this close I could see a few were physically sweating "in that meeting all you did was praise the man and kept repeating that he was a great King, how King Grayson should be more like more him when you knew too well what he did" I continue but was now talking directly to the men. "Maybe if you dealt with him, all the horrible things he did after wouldn't have happened, we wouldn't be stood in this courtroom because the attack against me wouldn't have happened, you need someone to blame for you getting fired but you're blaming the wrong person, if anything we should be trying you for the attack as you were the ones that allowed it" I say before walking backwards to address everyone else "now I don't wanna seem like I'm telling you to change your verdict, I'm asking you to take into consideration what I've just told you, Daisy is one of the nicest people I've ever met, take it from someone that was there and witnessed what happened, she tried to warn me and had no choice but to walk in there" I say looking at the jury now and then at the judge, he was smiling at little at me but soon turns to the jury. "Do you wish to go and rethink your verdict with the information the Queen has just given you?" He asks the jury, they all look at each other before nodding where they're escorted out the courtroom "you should probably leave now ma'am, only if you want to" the judge smiles, I just nod smiling knowing I got my point across. I send a look to Daisy before walking out the courtroom, as I close the door I tell my wolf to turn off Queen mode. Gray was walking down the stairs with a smile on his face. "The officials are not going to be too happy with you" he smirks coming to a stop in front of me, I just roll my eyes as he places his hands around my waist. "What are they gonna do, fire me?" I laugh which causes Gray to also laugh along with me. "I like this side of you" he smirks before a few of the officials run out of the door and over to me. They looked beyond mad, they train their eyes on me but I wasn't sure what was going through their minds. Before they could even come within a foot of me Gray had already floored them, I don't think they expected Gray to be outside with me. They look up kind of in a shock as I go to stand over them. "I told you, I'd love to see you try" I smirk as Gray starts to attack them, while Erik grabs my arms pulling me into a different room. "We'll leave the King to sort that out" he smiles closing the door behind us.
