Ready

In no time at all we arrive back at the castle, the gates open where we run at full speed entering the courtyard. I amused we would stop outside the main doors and walk in, but he doesn't stop and actually walks into the castle in wolf form with me still on his back. "I know what you are thinking my love but, it would be much more efficient to just head to our destination rather than stop" he mind-links answering my question before I asked it "that and I don't have any clothes with me, but if you were so concerned I will just shift here for everyone to see" he jokes which immediately makes my wolf begin to growl in my mind, I also get mad but than smirk. "Do it, but just so you know as soon as you do I'll start to strip right in front of those butlers, give them a real show" I smirk looking down at him, he lets out a small growl, I wanted to push it though. I smirk slowly taking my arm out my top, this makes him growl even louder and without warning we're charging up the stairs. In seconds he bolts through the bedroom door which for some reason, is wide open. Before we're even in the threshold of the bedroom door he's shifted, I was laying on the floor with him hovering above me, he finally uses his foot to kick the door closed. He was butt naked and as much as my eyes wanted to, I refused to let them wonder. "You are mine, no one is to see you in that way but me" he growls his eyes a shade darker, I smile liking the fact he was getting jealous. "Oh that's a shame, I was thinking as a thank you to all of them I'd flash" I smirk which makes him growl rattling the whole room. "Don't joke with me Clara" he growls his eyes going even darker, this just causing me to smirk even more. "Who said I was joking?" I ask looking at him in the eyes, he doesn't see this as a joke though. "In that case, I will lock you in this room the only person to enter would be me" he smirks back at me, oh that was a great answer he's good at this! "Not even one of the butlers?" I ask knowing exactly what I was doing, he moves in closer to me growling as he went. "Stop bringing up the butlers! If you do not stop I will go down there and tear them apart!" He growls indicating I took it a bit too far, he goes up get up and towards the door but I stop him. I crash my lips to his pulling him back down, he immediately kisses back eliminating any of the distance we had between us. Before it could go any further he stops and pulls away for a second, I give him a confused look staring at him. "Why stop?!" My wolf asks quite angrily in my head, I couldn't actually answer that question. "I don't want to force you into anything my love, maybe you feel ready now but I don't want you to regre-" he starts but I once again shut him up with a kiss, he pulls back for a second time looking down at me "I love you" he tells me sincerity in his voice, I smile wrapping my arms around his neck as he still hovered above me. "I love you too" I smile in seconds his lips were on mine again. ~Hi, now I think we all know where this went but I'm not the kind of writer to write one of those scenes (No judgment to anyone that does). Please enjoy the rest of the book~ A few hours later we were both getting ready for dinner, we were now fully mated which I was so over the moon about. I was nervous I would never be ready, but Gray didn't push me into anything which gave me time to be ready on my own. Gray was doing the buttons of his shirt up while I fixed my hair in the mirror, I would catch him looking at me a few times smiling then turn back away. Once my hair was ready I pick my bloody clothes off the floor, I actually liked this top but there would be no way to get the blood out. "I guess I need to throw these out, Erik's blood has really done a number on this top" I smile holding the clothes up, Gray smiles looking at the clothes for a second "or you could use them as DNA, just in case he's been in involved in any crimes recently" I smile throwing them in the bin we have, I knew Erik wasn't really the type of guy to commit any horrible crimes. "In that case burn them" Gray jokes throwing a suit jacket on, I laugh too but then the crash comes to mind once again. "Before all the drama with the butler, you told me you would tell me why the car accident wasn't an accident" I say looking over at him, the smile soon fades from his lips a sigh escaping it from it instead. "It was no accident, but to understand how I know it was not I need to tell a story, just so you know the background" he says sitting down on the bed, I slowly make my way over sitting beside him with my legs crossed "it's all due to my father, my father was not a very nice man, he would treat each person that he met as an inconvenience, even his family" he begins to tell me, this immediately makes his fathers eyes appear in my mind, they still frighten me now. "He did some horrifying things but never saw any repercussions from those actions as he was king, my mother was able to somewhat keep him on the straight and narrow, she never allowed him to take it too far" he explains his eyes welling up as he spoke, he always got angry when he spoke about his father and sad when he would about his mother, I might find out why that is now "but that all changed when she......died" he says looking down at the ground a tear running down his cheek, I immediately take his hand in mine wiping the tear from his cheek with my other hand. He looks over at me his face just held sadness, I send him a little smile rubbing my thumb over his hand as I went. He takes a deep breath in collecting himself before continuing. "After she......went away, he had nothing holding him back anymore so he went crazy, he would hurt and kill anyone who stood in his way" he explains starting to get angry as he spoke " he would force people to leave their homes and would sell their homes to any alpha who wanted it, but that was until Rupert Bynes came along, he told my father he would rather watch his home burn to the ground than give it to him" he says, good for that man standing up against such a horrible man like Gray's father. "My father took that quite literally so him and few of his corrupt guards went and burned his house down in front of him, Rupert's mate was trapped inside where she would perish" he explains shaking his head as he went, oh I really wasn't expecting that I just thought his dad would have backed off "Rupert swore on that day he would get revenge for his mate, he first attempted to find information on my dads mate, when he realised my mother was already gone he turned his attention to" he says looking up staring at me. "Me?" I ask pointing to myself, he nods looking back down to the floor "are we sure it's Rupert? The accident might have been some crazy accident " I say mostly so I wouldn't freak myself out whenever I need to leave. "After the crash, a few guards approached the car to see if the driver needed help, he was already deceased when they approached" he says which immediately makes me sad, the car did hit our car with force "written on the side of the car in red spray paint was the words, for Ellie" "I'm gonna take a guess and say Rupert's late mate was called Ellie" I say not having to be a genius to piece that together, he nods with a sigh as I get up walking around "great, I deal with one crazed lunatic that I'm still dealing with, now I see another crazed lunatic has put a target on my back!" I exclaim still pacing trying to get my head around it, it was proving to be rather difficult. "I should have told you sooner but you were just starting to feel safe and secure here, I did not want to jeopardise that by this" Gray says still sat on the bed "since I found you that has been all I have thought about, as soon as I let my guard down for just a second this happened" he sighs which immediately makes me stop pacing to look at him. "Gray, this not your fault it's your fathers, I don't blame you at all because I know you're gonna find this man and deal with him, before he gets a chance to hurt me" I say taking his hands pulling him up to stand "he might think he's got one up on us but he doesn't know what's about to hit him, I'm here now and no one is gonna try to get between us" I smile which immediately makes a smile light up his face. The door knocks someone shouting dinner was ready, I smile pulling Gray by the arm over to the door where a butler stood. I immediately turn to Gray with a smirk who lets out a low growl, he walks out first pulling me extremely close to him the opposite side to the butler. Rupert was a name I'd be hearing a lot of from now on, but we didn't know he already had another plan to try and harm me.
