Chapter 50 Sunflower
Memory is the light of our life, it is a memoir that no one can decide. Looking at old pictures, placed on the beautiful desk, I've decided that... I'll make one with Charlie today.
"You're getting married!" Beth gushed, waving her arms everywhere.
I chuckled and nodded, "Yes, I am."
"No! Don't move your head too much!" She gasped as she continued retouching my make up.
"Alright, sorry." I chuckled and fixed my head dress, which was a head band with huge yellow petals.
"Now now, let me do that." Mom walked behind me and fixed it properly.
Chloe fluffed out my hair, "There."
Gulping, I looked at the mirror and smiled when I saw my flowery self; no, like literally, my flowery self.
Since the wedding theme is a fairytail, I've decided to become a flower. A beautiful sun flower.
A knock came from the door, and a voice folloed after it. "It's time."
I closed my eyes, it's time.
"We'll see you in the aisle!" Mom and Chloe waved as Beth and I was left alone in the room.
"You ready?"
I licked my lips, "Ready as I'll ever be."
We walked outside the room and literally walked across the street since the chapel was right across the rented cabin. Our wedding is literally located in top of a hill, in a field of flowers and with tall grass.
"Someone's here for you." Beth grinned before turning around, moved around the corner, "Smile."
I didn't dare take a peek, but as I can see, photogrpahers started taking pictures of my younger relatives walking down the aisle.
This is it.
This is it.
"My little princess is now going to be someone's queen."
I turn around and smiled when dad walked beside me.
"Dad." I smiled, feeling my tears breaming in my eyes.
"Don't ruin the make up." He chuckled before pulling me to a light hug, "Your mom would kill me if you look like a person who just came out from a horror movie."
"No," I snorted before laughing, "She'd kill us both."
He smiled and took my arm gently, "Are you ready princess?"
I took a deep breath in, "Always."
Soon, Beth walked down the aisle and I felt my heart beating faster.
I feel as if I'd die soon.
As she turn around the corner, I gasped as I take in my future husband's outfit.
I chuckled and felt a wide grin crawl up my face as my dad had to drag me down the aisle, well, since I was too busy laughing at his outfit.
A fairy suit.
"Take care of her, son." Dad muttered as he handed my hand to Charlie's and kissed me on the cheeks.
Smiling, I took a step forward and stood silently beside Charlie as the priest started talking.
"Why are you wearing... that?" I asked sikently so that I wouldn't disturb the priest.
"What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"You're literally wearing a skirt." I gasped silently, "Great, in our wedding picture, we would be both wearing skirts."
I looked at him with my eyes only and saw him smirking, "Hey, the priest is wearing a dress."
"It's a robe." I think...
He simply smiled.
Oh damn, what would I do without you?
