Chapter 90 EPILOGUE
"Hey you." Riley chuckled, "She said please. So scroll up and read the author's note alright?"
"Riley, don't force the readers." Jay chuckled.
With that, Riley elbowed him, "She said please, hun. Please."
Jay sighed, "Fiiine." He looked at the readers and smiled adorably, "She said please." Then he pointed at her girlfriend, "And she elbowed me." He laughed, "Please read the author's note."

"Riley, is Jay there?" My brother asked through the phone.
"What? Yeah." I answered him while watching Jay get dressed for work.
"What? It's 7 in the morning, why are you guys together?"
"...Uhm..."
"Nevermind." He groaned, "Let me talk to him."
My eyes widened, "What? No. Elliot, I'm old enough to know what I'm doing with my life and you can't blame Jay! What we're doing is something you and Cobie had probably done too and-"
"Holy pretzels, goddammit Riles! My ears!" He mocked like he was to vomit, "Seriously Riley you're disgusting."
"What?" I frowned, "Why are you going to talk to him then?"
"Just give him the phone."
"Fine." I rolled my eyes and made eye contact with Jay. "My brother's going to talk to you."
His eyes widened but didn't said anything. He puts the phone to his ear and said, "Yes?"
His eyes, if possible, became wider, and suddenly he frowned, "Why?"
After some time, he sighed and ended the call. "What happened?" I asked him as he gave me back my phone.
"Cobie," He sighed, "Cobie happened."
"What?"
He gulped and looked at me, "She's in a police station."

Cut the red wire. This was the sentence I've read from the instructions.
"It's the red wire." I muttered through the phone, "Hurry up Jay, or you'll tear up to pieces. Literally."
My heart's hammering inside my body now, my palms are sweaty too. He's not going to die, not in my watch.
"I'm trying here Riles." I heard him suck in a deep breath, "But I don't think I can do it."
"Jay..." I trailed off, trying to keep my tears at bay.
"I... I just want to quit..."
"You can't!" I shook my head, "Not now."
"I'm sorry..."
"Jay!" I gasped, "The bomb's going to explode if you'd quit."
"We don't know that."
"So you want to test it?!" I angrily shouted at him, "NOT THE RIGHT TIME, DUDE!"
"Riley..."
"Don't quit." I cried, "We never know what could possibly happen if you would."
"Damn Riles," He murmered, "Why are you crying? Don't cry."
"Who wouldn't cry in this situation?!"
"I wouldn't." He sighed, "Probably anyone would not cry in this situation."
"The bomb's going to fudging explode, Jay." I sobbed out, "You're going to die if you're not going to cut the blue wire."
"Riley..."
"JUST CUT THE FUDGINGBLUE WIRE!"
"I JUST DID! NOTHING'S HAPPENING!" Suddenly, a loud blare of alarm came from his side. "DAMN RILES, THE TIMER IS TICKING FASTER THAN USUAL!"
"IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE IT'S THE WRONG WIRE!" I groaned, "Damn it, YOU CUTTED THE WRONG WIRE!"
"Wait, it's my fault now?!"He shouted indecrously, "Are you kidding me?! YOU'RE THE ONE GIVING INSTRUCTIONS HERE!"
DOOOT. DOOOT. DOOOT. DOOOT.
"Make it stop!" I cried harder, "Jay, please make it stop! You're an assassin for pete's sake, you should know how to stop a freaking bomb!"
"...Good bye, Riley." He muttered silently, "I quit..."
"No!" I sobbed harder, "JAY NO!"
BOOM!
"Noooooo!" I screamed as tears fell harder, my heart slams faster, and my throat became sore from screaming. "Jay...?"
He sighs, "Turns out the bomb does explode when you quit."
"You dimwit." I groaned, "We were almost there!"
"We weren't." He walked inside my room and shrugged his shoulders, "I think you told me to cut the wrong wire."
Dammit.
We were playing this awesome game called, "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes." It's a game about... well, probably communication. So a player would be giving the instructions without actually seeing the bomb, while the other player does not know the instruction, but does see the bomb.
It was unfortunately my turn to instruct him, and with what happened earlier, I think I suck at giving instructions. Just a little bit.
"You're crying." He frowned while walking near me. He wiped my tears with his fingers and he chuckled, "You're the only person I know who would cry in a situation like this. I swear Riley, you're weird."
I smiled at him, "I am. But you still love me."
He hugged me and kissed my forehead, "I love you because of that."
I rolled my eyes, "You were supposed to deny the fact that I'm weird, you know?"
"Why?" He pulled away, "That would've been counted as lying."
"You..." I glared at him playfully. I picked up my cup filled with hot chocolate and threatened to splash it to him.
"You wouldn't!" His eyes widened in fear, "I'm wearing my suit right now, Riles."
Yes, he's currently wearing his very clean white suit because he just came from work not too long ago.
"Then take it back."
"Take what back?"
"That I'm weird!"
He laughed, "Riles, you're the one who said it."
"But you agreed to it."
"Because it's the truth!"
"Ehhh." I made the alarm noise, "Wrong answer."
Without a second to waste, I poured it to him. With his fast reflexes, he luckily jumped away right on time. But even with that though, some drops did splatter on him.
He growled playfully, "Riley Emerson..."
I snorted, "We're not even married." I snorted again, "We're not even engaged!"
He walked closer towards me slowly, like how a predator walks toward its prey. With this, I backed away too. Slowly.
"Riley, when will you say yes to my proposals?"
"Probably if you stop, like right now?"
So he did. "So? Riley Langston, will you marry me?"
I chuckled and shook my head, "Not now."
"Oh come on!" He pouted, "You've been rejecting me since the first time I've asked you... This is probably my 10th time asking."
"11th, actually."
He sighs sadly, "Okay, it's fine."
Chuckling, I encircled my arms around his neck and gave him a swift kiss on the lips, "I'm kidding. Yes, I will marry you."
Tears brimmed in his eyes as he grinned so wide, probably wider than a boy receiving a gift directly from Santa. "YES!" He gave me a kiss and shouted, "Yes!" Kiss. "YES!" Kiss. "YESSSS!"
I laughed as he twirled me around; I patted his shoulders, "Hey, where's my ring?"
Suddenly, he stopped. "...Shit."
"Jay!" I gasped while pinching him. "Wait, why?"
He smiled sheepishly, "I didn't bring it because I thought that you'd say no again."
I gave him a smug look, "Then I guess I'm taking back my yes then-"
"WAIT NO!" He cried.
"Whoa whoa Jay," I gasped while laughing, "Don't cry."
"But..."
"You're such a cry baby." I rolled my eyes. I was just kidding, gosh! "I'm kidding, hun." I told him, which made him sob silently.
Sniffing, he puts a hand beside my cheek, "Can you do me a favor?"
"Yeah, what?"
"Can I have a piece of your hair?"
"...what?"
"Can I?" He asked again.
I nodded and watched as he took a piece of my hair from my head.
"Ow!" I whined, "THAT'S TWO!"
His eyes widened, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
I frowned at him and rubbed the area from where he took my hairs. "What are you going to do with that?"
He smiled and took my hand. He opened it and tied my hair around my ring finger, "This may not be your ring, but this is our ring that seal the deal that you're mine and I'm yours."
Awww.
"I love you Riley Langston," He kissed my forehead, "I love you so much."
I hugged him tightly, "I love you too, Jay Emerson." I smiled, "I love you so much."
Is it weird that he proposed to me in his white suit? The same suit he is wearing when he's doing his job? Which means that he's killing people?
Does this mean that he might kill our marriage in the future too?!
Nah.
I pulled away from him and interlocked our hands, "You smell bad by the way."
He scoffed, "Oh darling, that's just scent of my love for you."
