Chapter Fifty-Eight

I was sat in my bed just letting my thoughts wonder, I don't think I have fully had a chance to think over everything that has happened. Not only with Markus, or the feelings for Austin that are slowly taking over my thoughts. But the little life inside of me, I place my hand on my stomach just staring at the ceiling. I still can't believe this is all happening, my mind has been so consumed with everything else that I haven't fully processed what's really happened. I just hope when the time comes, everything will be back to normal. The noise of my phone getting a message snaps me from my thoughts, I look over to see it sitting on the table. I had a thought I could just leave it, but I knew it might be urgent so I had to force myself to stand up to see who it was. I pick it up to see a message from Jacob, all it said was the plan was underway, but I knew exactly what that meant. I thought I would have more time to prepare myself, but it looks like it's starting right now! The spies were now taking Markus's businesses down one by one, I wonder if he's freaking out? I place my phone in my back pocket before my eyes fall on the earrings, Jacob said I'd need them at all times so they'd know where I am. With a sigh, I pick up the earrings and place them in my ears, now I'll be tracked wherever I go. I put a smile on my face before walking over to the door, I knew if Markus was freaking out the first person he would call would be Austin. For the sake of us getting Markus, I knew I had to be around Austin when that happened. I leave the room and see him cooking in the kitchen, that's something I haven't seen in what feels like forever. 'I'm so happy you're awake" he says without having to even turn around, either he has a weird sense or I'm not as quiet as I think I am walking around. 'I've just got a call from Markus, he's saying we have to meet him in an hour" he says still not turning around as I each the living room, I guess Jacob is also right about him wanting to see us before he leaves. 'Why do I have to meet him?" I ask trying to get as much information as I could, I needed to know if it was go time or not. 'That's something I don't know, but I did ask him repeatedly if you could stay behind but he continued to tell me you had to come to" he says throwing a pan in the sink, I'll clean that later so he doesn't have to. I let a sigh out thinking about seeing Markus, but I soon remember that I have a tracker on my ear which Jacob will be able to see where I am. 'But even with this spanner that has come up in our way, I have found time to make us breakfast" he says turning around to show mouth watering food, my eyes go wide as I look and didn't realise how hungry I was until then. I send him a smile as he places my plate down telling me to sit, I do as I'm told and sit down where the smell of food just fills my senses. I'm going to enjoy this! He picks up his own plate putting it down in front of mine, the smile not leaving his lips. 'Thank you Austin, you really didn't have to do this" I say as he hands me my fork, this was so nice of him to take time even though his life is crazy, to make me breakfast. 'Of course I did, last night I spent a few hours looking up different recipes that would benefit you when you're pregnant, we need to make sure you stay healthy don't we?" He smiles taking the first bite of his own, I smile knowing that he really went out of his way to do that. 'So now I know all the foods you need to eat and also the things you need to stay away, from this point onwards making you food will be one of my main priorities" he smiles while I was at a lost for words, never did I think anyone would do this for me. 'Now tuck in before we leave" he smiles when he spots that I hadn't even taken a single bite, I send him a smile whilst taking a bite which was so good it was unbelievable. Around an hour later, I had my arm wrapped around Austin's as we walked down the steps of the complex. That breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, Austin promised they all would stay amazing. I told him he doesn't have to cook for me everyday, but he said I will be carrying a huge baby in my belly so the least he can do is cook for me. We were nearly at the car Markus gave Austin, when his phone pings telling him he had a message. He sends me a smile pulling it out, where I saw Markus's name. 'There has been a change of plans, we have to meet Markus at the sea front in ten minutes" he tells me whilst replying to Markus, just him saying change of plans made me nervous that Jacobs plan might not work. Why would Markus want to meet us at the seafront? Granted I didn't know where we were supposed to be meeting him, but the seafront sounds so scary! But I soon remember the tracker meant Jacob would see where I was, so I put a smile on my face just going with it. 'At least we can get a slush puppie while we're there" Austin shrugs slipping his phone back into his pocket, I just laugh shaking my head but the sound of a slush puppie did make me start to want one very bad. As I climb in the car, my own phone bings with a text from Jacob. All it said was 5/15 down, I knew straight away this meant 5 of Markus's businesses are gone. I text him back seafront before putting my phone away, I didn't want Austin questioning me as he gets in the car. He sends me a smile which I soon send back, but I was hiding how nervous I really was.
