Kassandra I was still underwater of the Dragon soul pool and I met my dragon spirit and she looked beautiful. I smiled at her and then I watched her swim around me, almost as if she was checking me out. I remembered she had been expecting me and I said to her through the mind link. 'You knew I was coming?" 'I knew we were going to meet once you turned 19 but, I didn't know when it was going to happen because you were under a spell for 10 years." 'That's true and I apologize for that." 'There's no need to apologize, it wasn't your fault. It was that witch Zara who did this." 'So does that mean you know why she messed with my mind?" My dragon nodded her head and she told me. 'You may not have sensed this but, even though your mind was messed up, Zara wasn't aware that she awakened me at the same time." 'So wait, are you saying that you've been awake the entire time I was under Zara's spell?" 'You could say that." I was surprised when she said this and I asked her. 'But, if that's the case, then why wasn't I able to sense you or why didn't you speak up at the time?" 'I would have but, as I said you were under a spell and you weren't aware at the time that you're a Dragon Sorceress and even if I did speak to you when you were under her spell, you wouldn't have heard me or sensed me either." 'So what you're also saying is, Zara didn't just mess with my memories but, she also used a spell to somehow block you out too?" My dragon nods her head and then she said to me. 'I am so sorry I wasn't there when it happened. If only I awakened sooner I would have used my powers to protect you. After all, a dark sorceress' magic is no match against a Dragon's power right?" I nodded my head in agreement and then I said to her. 'You're right. Anyway, enough chatting, you know why I came here didn't you?" 'Yes, and you've got nothing to worry about. Now that you've seen me and awakened me, you will be stronger than before and you will have the ability to shift. Once that happens, King Scott will have no choice but to admit, that he lied and you are Zonar's daughter." I nodded my head in agreement and I asked her as she turned into particles. 'Wait, before you go, do you have a name?" 'I do," My dragon spoke to me as her body got smaller and then the particles entered my body. 'My name is Nuri." I smiled at that name and then a bright light surrounded me. Zen I was pacing back and forth near the pool because Kassandra had been down there a long time and I was worried something must have gone wrong. I wished I could see what she was doing but, I couldn't because this was her path to take, not mine and I respected that. A part of me was also hoping that she's not dead otherwise Drago would kill me for that. Suddenly, the water started glowing and then there was a splash. I jumped in fright and I fell onto my backside and then Kassandra walked out of the pool and when I smelt the air, I noticed that her scent had changed. 'Kass! are you all right? did it work?" I asked her as she got out of the pool and she looked at the palm of her hands. 'It worked. I feel...stronger and...powerful now." She wasn't kidding, I can tell from her aura and that she's changed and not only that, her eyes were glowing gold and that tells me that she has awakened her dragon spirit. 'I can tell, Kass have you seen your eyes?" She looked at me with a confused look before I led her back to the pool to let her look at her reflection and she was surprised when she saw her eyes. 'Whoa, is that supposed to happen?" 'Don't worry, the glowing your eyes last for a few moments and then afterwards, they only glow when you show emotion or when you're about to shift into your dragon form." 'Oh, I see, what a relief." Kassandra I was a bit surprised at first when I saw my reflection but then, they turned back into their natural brown color. According to Zen, they do turn change color and the pupils turn thin. Basically, it means my dragon spirit is showing and it also depends on my emotions such as anger for example. Just then, I heard Midnight speaking through the mind link. 'Kassandra! Zen!" Midnight sounded like he was in a panic for some reason and then I said to him. 'Midnight? what's wrong?" 'It's King Scott, he's been spotted near the edge of the forbidden forest and to make matters worse, the coven that was supposed to be protecting the woods have failed to use their mist to keep them away. You two better get back to the horde and fast!" 'We're on our way, sit tight!!" I told him before looking at Zen and he knew what the expression on my face meant. 'I got the same message from Lord Zonar. He just told me that Zara has just defeated the coven who were supposed to protect the horde. We better get back and fast." 'I know, but this time, I don't need you to carry me." Zen looked at me confused before I closed my eyes and I called upon my dragon spirit and then I turned into my dragon form. Zen looked at me with a shocked expression on his face and he looked impressed. 'Nice, but the question is, can you keep up?" Zen challenged me. Zen transformed into his dragon form and he said to me through the mind link. 'Let's fly!" Zen flapped his wings and I did the same. It was hard at first but, I trusted Nuri and I let her take over as she flew through the clouds while racing against Atarus, the name of Zen's dragon spirit. We had to hurry because not only was I going to be finally reunited with my birth father, but, I also had a family to protect. Zonar After finding out that Zen was a spy, the plans changed and once Scott got his men ready along with the dragonslayers, we headed to the Dragon priests' village where Kassandra was taken after they stole her from Cassina. I was placed in a cage with a blanket draped over it so no one would be able to notice that I was still alive and no one would recognize me. I managed to alert Zen before they dragged me in here, however, I was able to peak out of the hole of the blanket to see where we were headed and then I spotted the forbidden forest. I felt the cage go down a hill and I knew we were close to heading into the forest. The cage stopped moving and then the blanket was removed and then one of the dragonslayers placed a shackle around my neck and they cuffed my wrists. I didn't put up a fight as they led me out of the cage. Scott came over to me and he said to me. "It's up to you now, Zonar. Lead me to my daughter." "I'm not promising we will find her straight away but, I shall do my best, your majesty." Scott frowned when I gave him that sarcastic answer. One of the Dragonslayers gave me a shove and then I walked in front of the ground. I took a deep breath before I concentrated my dragon senses to find Drago's horde. After a while, we got deeper and deeper into the woods and Zara used her magic to clear away the mist until the coven that protected the forest appeared. They used every spell to stop us but, Zara was powerful and then they were defeated. "Impressive, I see you've gotten stronger the last time we saw you." I commented to Zara who smirked proudly. "Why thank you, Zonar. However, your job is not to praise me but to-" "Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm you're little guide Dragon also known as your compass." I interrupted her as I continued to walk through the woods. Just then, I got a mind link from Zen. "Lord Zonar, I don't know if you can hear me but, I have great news! Kassandra has awakened her dragon spirit and we're back with Drago's horde!" I didn't show emotion to the others but on the inside, I'm smiling proudly and I said to Zen. "That's great to hear and just in a nick of time too. Zen, once you got Kassandra back to her mate, I need you to inform the others. Tell them, the time has come for them to get their revenge." "Yes my Lord." Once Zen stopped talking, I thought to myself. 'Very soon, all of this will be over and of course...' I glanced at Zara and Scott who were looking a little cosy which made my stomach turn and my dragon spirit angry. 'The lies that Scott once spread to Cassina and he told to Kassandra, will be exposed and he will have no choice but to tell his people the truth. The same can be said about Zara, she hasn't told Scott that he has an heir the throne and I am not talking about Kassandra.'
