EVIE FORCEFULLY MARKED

SHAWN What the hell just happened? I thought she was about to kiss me but instead she pushed me and rushed out of the house with fire on her heels. Without wasting any time, I follow her and spot her running towards the Pack House, which is a ten minutes walking distance away from my house, but only two minutes distance if we use our werewolf speed. It doesn't take me much time to catch up with her speed and I'm now running beside her. One look at her tells me that something serious has happened and she's quite furious. Her eyes are fiery red. I immediately connect with Abed through the link. 'Is everything okay in the Pack House?' I ask him. 'Jasper marked Evie and her Pack Members are furious because he bit her without asking for her permission.' Abed tells me, which explains Valerie's reaction because she doesn't want me to mark her and I don't think I will be able to control myself for long. When we reach the Pack house, Edith comes running towards Valerie and they both start communicating through their links which I can't hear anything because my mate doesn't belong to my Pack. There's a circle formed and I roar using my Alpha tone for everyone to move. Jasper is being prohibited by the members of their Pack from entering the house while Evie is nowhere to be seen. "Stay the fuck out of this Oscar, it's between my mate and I." He says while growling. "Mate or not, you had no right to mark her without her consent." Oscar yells at Jasper. What the hell is his problem? They are mates and it was meant to happen sooner or later! "I am warning you wolf, get out of my way." Jasper says. "I don't understand why they are making a big deal out of this." Abed says from beside me. "She doesn't want to see you now, so back off!" Ivan says, shoving Jasper. Immediately Jasper raises his fist to punch Ivan but the punch doesn't happen because my mate holds her brother's wrist. She's glaring at Jasper with her fiery red eyes. She comes and stands between Jasper and Ivan and I become alert all of a sudden. I don't want her getting in between a fight. With her palm, she shoves Ivan back and he bows his head and goes back. It looks like she has given him some command. "Move out of my way sis, I don't want to hurt you!" Jasper says to Valerie. "Back.Off.Now." she says to Jasper amid clenched teeth. "Valerie I want to-" it's all Jasper is able to say before Valerie pushes him hard such that he goes flying and crashes against a tree, immediately shifting into his tanned wolf. He stands on his fours growling at my mate and I go and stand in front of my mate, drawing her behind me. To his wolf, his mate is the main concern now and I doubt he would care for his sister. He's still growling looking at us and I feel my body starting to shake with anger. I'm about to command him to back off when I feel my mate's soft palms on my upper arm immediately calming me. "It's high time I settle the score with my brother." She says to me while smirking when I look at her. Her eyes are back to brown. A feral growl from Jasper brings my defensive mode back. It's a waste connecting to Jasper through the link because he has blocked everyone out. "Don't steal my fun." She tells me and I step back two steps. If Jasper even scratches Valerie, then I am going to kill him. I look at my mate who is smirking at her brother. She seems confident about herself and that worries me even more. I don't know whether she can fight. Jasper is my beta and he is one of the strongest wolves in the Pack, after me. Though Valerie is the Beta of that Pack, she's a girl and her strength would not be as strong as Jasper's. Valerie motions with her index and middle finger for Jasper to come closer while He bares his teeth at her. She's baiting him and he takes the bait. Most of the she wolves that I've seen wouldn't stand and grin when their opponent is running towards them, however my mate is different. When Jasper lunges at her, she dodges his attack by flipping front while Jasper tries not to crash head first on the ground. I'm amazed by her speed while members of her Pack are cheering and wolf whistling. Amelia comes running followed by Idris. 'Alpha, please stop them.' Amelia says in my mind but I don't react to it. When Jasper turns to look at Valerie, he growls at her and a loud threatening growl comes from my chest. He goes for her again while she flips backwards and dodges the attack. The smirk remains on her face and I bet it's driving Jasper mad. This happens for a few times, whenever Jasper would try to attack Valerie, she'd dodge it and now it looks like Jasper's wolf is tired. "Oh come on Val, there's no fun in this. Hit him back!" Ivan screams cheerfully and I growl at him. I don't want my mate to get hurt though until now she's playing safe. "Tired big brother?" She asks Jasper while he growl and lunges at her again. I almost run to my mate's side but I stop when she slides under his wolf and punches him in the belly. This sends Jasper rolling and landing on the side. When he tries to get up again, she runs and knees him on the face, making Jasper to fall back. She hook-punches him, first to his face, then on his neck. While Jasper is lying on the ground, Valerie jumps and knees him on the stomach and elbows him on the head, knocking him out! The way she has fought shows that she has been trained. Her every move was swift and clean. I have never seen a she-wolf fight with such grace and confidence! I'm impressed. "Wow! That was nice!" Abed says from beside me and I growl at him. She's mine! She stands up now and turns to face us with her red eyes. "Careful." She says while glaring at everyone from my Pack. "This is my Pack you are dealing with." She says in a low malicious tone which is a warning for us. Her Pack Members are cheering and clapping loudly. She turns around and everyone in her Pack spreads and makes way for her to leave. I see her jumping and landing on a balcony, probably to Evie's room. "She just took over a beta of our Pack, isn't that strange for a she-wolf?" Charles says. "Yeah, but she is their Beta, remember? Just so you know, she-wolves aren't weak." Pamela snaps at him. "She's trained." Abed adds, "Her moves showed that she is a fighter!" "Who knew, the girl we used to treat like dirt now streaked the beta of our Pack like dirt?" Charles says. "What have they done to my baby? They have made her go against her own family." Amelia says, sobbing in Idris's chest. "Don't you think it's strange, Valerie's behavior?" Abed asks me. "What's strange in that? She is mad at us and has every reason to be so." I tell him. "Not that, I'm talking about her strength. She just took over our Beta." He tells me. It was strange, but there was also the fact that Jasper wasn't thinking straight when he was fighting, his mate was his concern. Jasper finally starts gaining consciousness and shuffles his feet. "Whoever trained her did a great job." Abed says, walking away and wrapping his arms around Pamela's waist. There's a slight feeling of jealousy inside me when I see the mated couple together. I want that with my mate who isn't even letting me mark her. But something inside me clicks at that thought. She asked me not to mark her and now everyone in their Pack is pissed that Jasper marked Evie, surely there is something they all are hiding. I wonder if it has something to do with the rogues!
