AFTER THE WEDDING

VALERIE I straight away ran towards the Pack house to say goodbye to the newly wedded couple. Everyone had returned to Pack house from the venue. When Edith and Nathan came out of the house we all clapped, cheered and wolf whistled. I was really happy for them. When Edith went to talk to her parents, Nathan came and stood beside me. "Thank-you." he said hugging me and ruffling my hair. I chuckled in his chest and he caught and twirled me. "If anything happens call me, Okay?" he said again and I shook my head. "And ruin your honeymoon? Never bro!" I said and he chuckled. "I am serious." he said and I rolled my eyes. He then went to hug Evie while Edith came and hugged me. "This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you." she said and sniffed. "Also say thanks to Shawn. He helped a lot in making this wedding perfect." she said and I nodded. "Love you!" "I love you too. Take care and enjoy your honeymoon." I said and she blushed. She later went and hugged Evie who whispered something in her ears and I tuned to hear it. "... And I wasn't the one to Pack your bags. So, blame Bella and Cherry if there is something inappropriate." she said and Edith widened her eyes and blushed deeper. "I'll go meet others." she said and left. They were hugging and talking with others when Oscar came driving my arrogant. He parked the car at the front and got out of it. "You didn't let me drive." Jasper said glaring at me while I rolled my eyes at him. "Valerie, can I have a word?" Oscar asked me and I stared at him. "What's up?" Evie asked him. "Alone." he said to her guiltily while she shrugged and left with Jasper. Oscar caught my hands and pulled me to the woods behind a tree. That was strange. "Oscar, what happened? You are scaring me!" I said. "Is everything okay?" I asked again. "Everything is fine. I am not here to talk about rogues!" he said and I frowned. "Then what? They are going to leave soon?" I said and turned to leave but he caught me again and stopped me. He was about to speak something when someone called his name. "Coming!" he yelled and then hugged me tightly carrying all my weight. His nose was nuzzled against my neck. My wolf didn't appreciate the hug and was asking me to pull away repeatedly but I ignored her. He was behaving strange and it worried me. "Oscar?" I asked again bothered. "Is everything okay? "Thank-you so much!" he said cupping my face with both hands. "What for?" I asked him confused. "I know you prayed for me and I love you more for that." he said smiling and kissed my forehead and ran towards the car. What just happened? I thought frowning. What was he talking about? I'll tell you everything later.' he said in my head and blocked me. I relaxed because his tone seemed happy. "Bye guys. I love you!" Edith said happily as Oscar drove her and Nathan to the airport. I looked at Oscar and tried asking him what was the matter but he had blocked me form his head. I watched them go until my Arrogant was out of my sight. I sighed a little and looked at the half-moon in the sky. It shone brightly amongst the million stars present in the night sky. I prayed for Edith's and Nathan's safety in their trip. I wanted to tell Shawn the truth and so I started towards our house, when Jasper's panicked voice stopped me. "Have you seen Sheila?" he asked me. "No. She didn't come to the wedding." I said shaking my head. "She is not in the house." "What? Where did she go?" "I don't know. She has blocked everyone out." he said frowning. Shawn accepted her back in the Pack today so she should be able to connect through the link. "Any friends?" I asked him. "No. I asked them all." "Umm... Val?" Evie called and I turned to look at her. "You know Oscar went to the house." she reminded me and I growled. "I swear to God, I am going to kill Oscar." No wonder he sounded so happy, I thought to myself. He must have scared Sheila, That idiot. "Try connecting with her." I said to Jasper, "and even ask Shawn to search. I will look for her in the woods." I said and ran into the woods. Urrgh! I so badly wanted to tell Shawn about myself but due to some reason or the other it keeps on being postponed. "Oscar you are so dead!" I muttered while running in the woods. I was ticked off at that idiot, I had warned him. I was still looking for her in the woods. Evie had gone to search for her along with Jasper so that she could inform me if Sheila is found. I stopped and sniffed the air and caught faint trace of her scent. I followed it and it lead to the beach. It was late at night and due to the moonlight plus my wolf vision I saw her sitting on the shore and she was....Crying. I am definitely killing Oscar. Okay, may be not killing but he'll regret whatever he did. 'I found her, she's in the beach.' I said to Evie through the link and blocked my mind before walking towards Sheila. "Hey sis...." I began when I was close enough to her but stopped when she growled and gave a deathly glare to me. Okay Oscar, I am killing you. "Look Sheila, Oscar's intention wasn't to hurt you. He was just-" I started but she cut me off. "Having fun?" she asked trough gritted teeth. My wolf didn't appreciate her tone. I may not be her Alpha but I definitely am an Alpha and no Alpha likes getting disrespected from other wolves. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to control myself but I couldn't because Sheila chose that moment to yell. "I should have guessed it earlier. I should have guessed why you didn't join Silverstone." she said growling and I froze. What does that mean? Does she know about me? Japser told her? "Sheila? Do... do you know about-?" I asked her and she nodded her head and looked at me disgustedly. Oh dear Goddess! If she hates me for it then how will Shawn react? "I know!" she spat and then I saw the all too familiar look in those green eyes. It was the same way she used to look at me six years ago. The look filled with vile and contempt. Back then I used to stay away from her and now it just made me growl. "I know. You were not very successful in hiding it!" she spat. "Who told you?" I asked her in a whisper even though I knew it might be Jasper. "Oh! Don't worry, nobody did. I saw it for myself!" she said and I frowned. I didn't shift into my wolf today. Then what was she talking about? "I should have known, you are the same old Valerie whom everybody treats like a goddess!" she said her eyes showing pure hatred which was only reserved for me. But what she just said was absolutely wrong. I knew it, she knew it, hell everyone knows about it. The way she said it ticked me off. "When has anyone treated me like a goddess?" I asked her. "When?" Just then Jasper, Evie, Ivan and Cherry came to the beach. Mom and Dad!" she said through gritted teeth and I stared at her. "You don't remember anything, do you? Ever since you were born it was like you were the only child they had. I never existed to them!" she said pointing her index finger on her chest and more tears rolled from her eyes. I didn't know that. I don't remember much about mom and dad. It's faint and years passed by I forgot most of it. How could I remember all that? I was only five when they died. I have really few memories of them and most of it includes us as family rather than me alone. I shook my head and turned to look at the beach. I don't know what triggered Sheila to reveal the past but I didn't want to argue with her now that she spoke about mom and dad liking me. The only conclusion I came to that was, mom knew who I was when she gave birth to me and killed herself. "Valerie is this, Valerie is that? Valerie is special, she is an angel. Valerie can solve all of our-" she sneered. "Go Sheila. Go back!" I said cutting her because if she continues ticking my wolf then I would have no control over me. "You would like that, wouldn't you?" she asked growling. "I bet you would. Then you can live your life happily with him!" she snapped. What the hell is wrong with her? "I meant go home!" I snapped back when his scent hit me. I saw Shawn walking towards the wood along with Abed and Pamela. "No wonder Shawn didn't mark you!" she said looking at Shawn with a look I didn't understand and more fat tears rolled down her eyes. "Why would he?" she asked chuckling humorlessly and rubbed the tears with the back of her hands. "Who would like used pieces?" she said and there was a thunderous growl from Shawn and I. Did she just say that to me? "Sheila!" I snapped. This was getting too much. Way too much for my liking. My wolf was growing restless inside me. "Watch it!" I said shaking my head at her. How dare she accuse me of sleeping around when I never got involved with anyone like that? I heard more sounds and saw more people coming to the shore, it was annoying me. There is no show going on here. I clenched my fists tightly to control the anger that was building up inside me. The more I get angry the harder for me to control my wolf who wanted to be let out. "What are you going to do?" she asked and took a step towards me. "I am not in your stupid Pack and so your "Beta" command won't work on me!" she said smirking. At that there were growls from some wolves of my Pack. My heart beat increased then normal and I felt heat inside my body. It was my wolf's doing. She didn't like Sheila's insolence towards her. "I bet you made your way into his bed to get that position!" she spat and I started shaking with anger. I was losing the control I had over my wolf. How dare she even say that? She thinks Oscar and.... Really Gross. Through the corner of my wolf I saw Shawn being held back by Jasper, Abed and some wolves from his Pack. "Enough Sheila!" Evie yelled at her. "What do you know about Valerie to comment like that?" "Step back now!" I said to Sheila. "You don't know who you are talking to!" I said and my voice came out in growls. Her words were pricking every nerve of my body. What she accused me of was disgusting and insulting. "Who are you?" she asked disgustedly and there was a small chuckle from Idris, my so called father. That angered me a lot. I wasn't controlling but the waves were louder than they were before. It was my mood that was making the waves roar. My canines were out. "You know Jasper said your wolf was different." she continued and I turned to look at the sea so that I could cool myself before I lose control because clearly Sheila was asking for it. Someone please shut her mouth! "I meant what I said Sheila, you wouldn't like it." Jasper snapped at her but she ignored him. I saw many wolves trying to stop Shawn who wanted at attack Sheila. "But I don't think so. I think your wolf is as repulsive and wretched as you are!" she said through gritted teeth. That was the last straw for my wolf. My claws came out first. She offended my wolf, she disrespected my wolf. That was the thought running in my head until it turned to something else. She disrespected me, she disrespected me and that was my wolf's thought. I may not be her Alpha but I am the daughter of the goddess. I am the white wolf! There was pride in my wolf's tone when she thought that. I looked up at the half moon in the sky. It was all triggering for me to shift. My control over my mind and body was slipping away and it was being taken over by my wolf. If my wolf took control over my body then I knew I was about to shift. She has to learn her place. She has to suffer for she, disrespected me. That was the last thing I remembered because then my wolf had already taken control over me. All she wanted to do was hurt a certain she-wolf who disrespected her. She wanted to be let out and show this she wolf her place. I wanted that she-wolf's blood. I knew I was about to shift.
