Kristen's POV It's been a week since the dinner and every time me and Sebastian crosses path at school he always looks at my finger first, maybe to check if I wore the ring already. But I'm not planning to. He also gives me some food, sometimes, cupcakes and sometimes sandwiches for lunch. I knew for a fact that he's the one who makes them, as Grandma Melody left already. I miss her. I also miss the house but I choose to live with Dad and Mom Selena, I want to spend the rest of my time with them. 'Kristen, uhm, someone is asking if it's okay you play the piano today for the music department's program?" 'Sure, why not? What happened to their pianist anyway?" I ask as I fix my stuff 'Wait, what? you'd do it?" Abby ask I nod 'Yes, of course" 'Not that I'm complaining, because I really want to hear you play but, this is the first time in years you said yes" 'I was gone for almost a year, the hate I had in playing is long gone" I say 'Okay, then let's go" We both got there, I saw many familiar faces, including Sebastian and Kyle. 'She's willing to play" Abby announces And they all looked at me. I chuckled 'So, what song?" I ask 'Really?" Kyle asks 'Yes. Now what song?" I ask again 'Anything will do, it's just to buy us time while our main lead is not here yet, after playing you can leave" one says and I nod 'You also need to sing" 'Okay, not a problem at all" I say and went out on the stage I went out as they introduced me. 'For the first time in years, our dearest, Student Council president will play and sing us a song. Please put your hands up for, Ms. Kristen Miles" They all clapped and I smiled at them then started playing The 1 by Taylor Swift but I cut it short. After the song, I make a bow and then they all clapped. 'Ms. Pres. Can I have your number?" 'Is he your boyfriend?" 'Ms. Pres, do you have a boyfriend?" 'Can you go on a date?" Many were shouting this kind of stuff which I had just laughed it off. We went to the backstage after. 'You were great!!!" Abby squealed and hugged me. 'Thanks!" 'You were also great out there. You've been practicing I see?" I say as I hugged Kyle 'Yeah, to pass the time while I can't find you" he says and I smiled at him 'Thank you again" I tell him and he nods. 'You were both great." Sebastian says forcing a smile, he gave me a rose, which I took. 'Thank you for this" I tell him We all went silent. After that, we left and went back to our respective classes. 'Finish the activity until I get back" our professors says and he stopped 'You were good out there Ms. Miles" 'Oh uhhh Thanks" I smiled and he left I was finishing the work and then suddenly someone came up to me. 'Hey, uhm you were great earlier, would you mind if you, you know, go out with me this Saturday?" He's fast. I smiled. 'I'm sorry. I'm not in to dating right now" I say 'Just one date?" He ask 'She said no, Max" Sebastian says Oh Max. 'Back off dude, you're his ex-boyfriend now" Max tells him 'I said no Max. I'm sorry." I say as I go between them Max eyed Sebastian one more time and looked at me and Smiled. 'Okay then. See you around I guess" he says and then goes back to his seat 'You don't need to do that for me." I tell Sebastian 'It just felt like I had to" 'Aren't you supposed to be busy or something?" I say as I answer the last question 'Nope, not at all" as he sits beside me I shrugged and just continued the work. Not another word was heard from me. When the bell rang, I picked my stuff up and he followed me out. 'Let me take you home" he says 'Ian is going to pick me up" I answer 'Not today" he says I was confused and then suddenly, he sent me a message saying he can't pick me up. 'See" he says 'Kyle can drive me home" I answer 'No, I will drive you home" I didn't mind him and just sent a message to Kyle. 'Can you drive me home?" 'Sorry K. Abby and Darius needed a ride home, his car won't start." He replied What's up with these people. I cursed and then turn to him 'Fine" I say and then he gestured me to follow him The ride home was silent. Neither of us talked. 'Thanks for the ride home" I say as he stops the car and I got down from it. He stops me. 'I'm hoping everyday that you wear the ring that I gave you" he says 'I'm not going to wear it. That's final. You want it back though?" I ask him I stare at him and he has this sadness in his eyes. But he forced a smile. 'Even if it takes forever, I will still wait" I sighed 'Promises you can't ever keep" and pulled my wrist from his grip and went in. 'How was school?" Dad asks 'It was great dad, I played at school today" 'We saw, you were great sweetie. Are you hungry?" Mom asks 'Yes, famished" I answer 'Okay, change your clothes and dinner will be served in a minute" 'You know, I'm starting to think if you love her more than me" Dad says and I chuckled 'Why?" I ask 'I asked her about dinner and she told me she haven't cooked yet and a minute passed you came home, she said dinner will be ready in a minute" I shake my head. 'Old people and their problems" 'Yeah" Mom says sighing 'Hey!" My dad shouted and we both chuckled 'Now change young Lady" Mom says and I went upstairs to change after that I got down and ate Dinner. 'Where's Ian?" I ask 'Oh, out on a Date. He didn't tell you?" I choked on my food 'A date? You mean Ian? My brother? On a date? For real?" 'Yes' Dad says 'Have a problem with that?" 'No not at all, just surprising. Who is he dating?" 'I don't know yet but he said, he'll be introducing her if the date gets a second one" Dad says 'Yeah, good point" I say Then after Mom offered dessert which I cannot say no, we started to eat that too and it was so good. It reminded me of Sebastian's baking. It's good.
