Secrets Again

Kristen's POV 'Yes. It's been hurting more often" 'There's nothing much I can do. It's either you say yes to the surgery or that will keep hurting you until…" she pauses I look at her and smiled 'I know." 'I'm serious, Kristen. When will you tell them?" 'I do not have the plan to tell them and you're going to help me with that" 'But…" Then the door opens 'So, how is she? I came here as soon as I could" Dad says as he brings his coat down Before, she could answer and put me in a situation where I couldn't explain myself, I answered. 'She was just scheduling my surgery, maybe next week would be fine" I say and my doctors' eyes widen and I nod at her 'We'll talk again, Ms. Miles. I'll leave to let you two talk" she says and I thank her then she leaves 'Next week? Isn't that I bit late?" my dad asks, as he prepares me an apple to eat 'Nope. It's fine" I say and smiled at him as he hands me a plate of sliced apples 'Thanks, Dad" 'Okay, anything you want today? I let you cheat but don't tell Ian, He'll be mad at me if he did" he says and I chuckled 'When did you become afraid of him?" I ask He shakes his head and I told him what I wanted to eat and he gave me it. Even though we both know it's bad for me. I was down to my last spoon when Ian came in. Me and Dad's eyes widen. And I can see clearly the anger in his eyes. 'Sorry?" I say and making a cute face 'Dad" he says with gritted teeth 'Wait, let me explain. She'll be having her surgery next week. So, just today?" Dad says He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. 'Fine, this will be the last" he warned I smiled 'Last" Then silence lingered. Ian decided to ask about Sebastian, after my attack, I asked him if he could bake something for me while I talk to my doctor. Even though he wanted to know what caused my sudden attack, I begged him to leave and he did reluctantly. 'Make sure, you're not hiding anything from me or anyone here young lady. If I found out one little secret, I would be so pissed at you and forget you have a brother" Ian says and I laughed 'Yes. No more secrets, I promised, didn't I?" Days went by fast. I made a speech during the graduation and apologized that I couldn't be with all of them physically but rather virtually. They understood, and some even sent me flowers after graduation, which made me smile. I finally graduated. Mom this is for you. After that, we celebrated in the room, and Sebastian came right after receiving his diploma, I couldn't be anymore proud of him. 'You know how much I am proud of you?" I ask 'How much?" he asks narrowing his eyes at me I peck his lips 'enough to let you sleep here tonight" 'Really? You'd let me?" he says and I nod He hugs me tight and I did too. 'I'll ask someone to send me my stuff right now. I'll never leave you along now. Finally, I can sleep tight at night not wondering how are you" I chuckled. When his stuff came in, he opened his laptop and brought it in-front of me. It was grandma Melody. 'I knew you were sick when I saw you go to the hospital" she says crying and Sebastian left to see my dad and Ian off 'Don't cry grandma, I'm fine." I say comforting her 'I want to go home right now. Are you eating well? Do they treat you well there?" she asks and I chuckled 'Mom and Dad is here with me and Sebastian and Ian too" I say 'You look thin now, and so weak" she sobs again 'Please, grandma stop crying. It's not good for you" 'I just can't believe I didn't notice" she says wiping her tears and blowing her nose 'Like I say, no one is at fault here except me. I'm just so stubborn to admit I was sick and I didn't want everyone to care for me and spend their time looking after me. I wish you all happiness" I smiled 'Stop it!" she shouts 'Grandma, calm down, why were you shouting?" Sebastian says entering the room 'Tell this young lady right here not talk like she is about to die!" she shouts and I giggled 'Oh grandma, I'm sorry. I just got used to saying things like that. Don't worry, I won't leave Sebastian just yet" I say 'Grandma, I think we should call it a night. We'll call again soon alright?" Sebastian says and she nods and we hung up Sebastian looks at me and stared. 'What?" I ask 'Is there something on my face?" 'I don't really like how you're talking these days. It's like you're saying goodbye. Do you really feel okay? I can't lose you again, you know that right? Please, please, please, tell me if there's something wrong or you feel something bad" he cups my face and his tone more like begging I held his hands while on my face and I lean to his touch. I smiled and Nod 'I will, I promise" 'Besides, I can't leave you just yet." I say 'You can't leave me and you won't, you will not." He says and I chuckled nodding 'What do you say we watch a movie tonight before going to bed, like before?" he says 'I would love that." 'I'd like to try and watch, something about wolves" I say 'What? Why the sudden interest?" He asks trying to find something 'I don't know, these books I have been reading, intrigues me to watch." He chuckled. 'Okay, I'll try to find a good one" He couldn't find anything, so we settled for watching some teen romance movie, which I loved. But halfway, Sebastian fell asleep. I close his laptop and I watch him sleep. Touching every part of his face carefully not to wake him up. I guess he is tired. He is not usually, a heavy sleeper. 'I love you so much Sebastian but I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry" I whisper and just cried beside him I left my room, even though It was hard for me to get up and walk. I went to my doctor. 'Goodness, why did you stand up!" she shouted and helped me to sit. 'I need to talk to you" I just say weakly 'I know. About what you said" I nod and we talked about it. 'Promise me you won't tell anyone about this, okay?" I ask her 'I'm a doctor, I can't hide this from your parents" she says 'I'm your patient and I am aware that since I am of legal age, I can decide for myself" She sighed. 'Fine, but please, think this through again alright?" I nod 'Okay" I walked back to my room with a nurse helping me. I quietly, went in and slip under his arms. 'Sebastian" I whisper then suddenly, tiredness consumed me. ----- I woke up with a loud whispering. I slowly open my eyes and Sebastian and Kyle was arguing about something. 'What are you arguing about?" I ask and Sebastian goes near me and helps me up 'Kyle was just asking me something that I think he should tell you but he refused to" Sebastian says and smiled 'Why are you awake? You should sleep more" 'It's fine. I can't sleep anymore. What is it?" I ask turning to Kyle 'Don't be mad" 'Why would I be mad? What is this all about?" 'I'm dating someone, I have never seen" he says 'What? Didn't you say you were both on a date?" 'Yes but, it didn't go through. It was supposed to be a virtual date but she had something to handle it got canceled" 'And?" 'And, we dated without seeing each other because we both believed that its not about the looks but about what we feel and…" he pauses 'And now you saw her and you don't like her, is that it?" I ask and he shakes his head 'No. I still do but it's just, she's….she's.." why was he nervous 'I'm not mad that you're dating but I'm going to be mad if you don't like what she looks like, you love her don't you? Don't fight it" 'It's not really about that. We both didn't know who we both were until last night" he says, and he was not nervous about anything before but now, I feel that he is because what I might tell him if I find out who he was dating 'Who is she?" I ask When he opens his mouth to talk, the next words that came out, shocked me. Well, I wasn't prepared for that.
