Unexpected

Kyle's POV After a call from Kristen, I decided to wear pink, a pink suit. I hope she likes it. I was preparing for the table set-up, when my phone dinged, it must be her. I open my phone and saw her message. ---I'm sorry. Something came up, maybe we could reschedule?--- it says I sighed, well, I don't really like this long-distance relationship but hey, I really do like her. I felt this connection with her. Even though I haven't seen her, yet, I feel like I have known her for a long time now. --Sure. Take your time. We can reschedule whenever you're ready—I replied. I took off my coat and dropped myself on the bed. I wonder what she looks like. Days passed by and the date was never rescheduled. Though I had fun talking to her on the phone. She was this sweet and caring person even through text messages. ---When are you going back here?—I ask --I don't know. I'm not ready to go back yet. I have done a lot of damage there, I don't think they forgave me just yet. So, I will give them some time— --I see. I was just wondering when will I see you?—I replied --We should set another date, don't you think?— --It's up to you. Whenever you have time— --Tomorrow should be good— --Okay then. Tomorrow night it is—I say and she didn't reply any longer. I am very curious of what she looks like. But one thing is for sure, I really do like her. ---- Today is the day, I'm feeling nervous. So, I still followed Kristen's advice to wear pink. Everything is set-up. I'll call her through my laptop. And just wait for her to pick up. --We should focus first on what we are both wearing and then on 3 we should, show each other our faces—she sent me a message and I agreed. This is interesting. Then I called her, and she picked it up. 'Wow you look amazing" I tell her as she was wearing a red sparkling dress, sleeveless showing her collar bones perfectly 'Thank you, You don't look bad yourself. I never expected, pink is a good color for men" when she talked, something about her voice sounded so familiar 'A friend suggested pink can be a plus points to ladies" I answer She chuckled 'I guess your friend is right. Hey, you sound so familiar" 'I was also thinking about that too. Maybe we've seen each other before?" I say 'Maybe. Now, let's see if we really did. On 3 right?" she says 'Yes." '1" '2" '3" We both say and adjusted the camera She shrieked and I fell down my chair. 'Goodness!" she says 'Wow" I just say We both fixed ourselves and silence lingered to the both of us. 'So, what now?" she says sadly 'I don't know. I really do like you. Before seeing you and all. I'm just shocked that it's you" 'Should we stop though? I like you too" she says and blushed 'We should think about this more, don't you think?" 'Sure. Well, I have to leave now. Talk to you soon" she says and hung up I stood up and stared at my laptop. Shoot! I have to talk to Kristen. I tell myself and took my keys and drove to the hospital. I knock on the door and Sebastian was there to open it. 'Dude, is she awake?" I ask 'No. Come back later" he says irritated, and tried to close the door. 'Wait. I should talk to you too" He sighed 'Fine, but I need you to be quiet. She's sleeping" I nod and went in. 'So, what is it?" he whispers 'I had a date and I'm guessing you knew. And now I saw her and guess who it is?" I say 'Why should I care?" 'Because it's Bianca. I swear, I didn't expect this to happen. I didn't know, I just found out earlier and I don't know what to do. We both admitted we like each other but…" 'Why?!" he whisper shouted 'I don't know! Okay?!" 'This is so messed up, you should tell her" he says 'What? No! I don't know how to tell her. What if she doesn't like the idea?" 'What are you arguing about?" Kristen groaned and Sebastian goes to her to help her up 'Kyle was just asking me something that I think he should tell you but he refused to" Sebastian says and smiled 'Why are you awake? You should sleep more" 'It's fine. I can't sleep anymore. What is it?" Kristen asks turning to me 'Don't be mad" I say and gulped, I should tell her 'Why would I be mad? What is this all about?" 'I'm dating someone, I have never seen" I say 'What? Didn't you say you were both on a date?" 'Yes but, it didn't go through. It was supposed to be a virtual date but she had something to handle it got canceled" 'And?" 'And, we dated without seeing each other because we both believed that its not about the looks but about what we feel and…" 'And now you saw her and you don't like her, is that it?" She says and hell no, it wasn't like that, I shake my head 'No. I still do but it's just, she's….she's.." I'm so nervous right now, I don't know how to tell her 'I'm not mad that you're dating but I'm going to be mad if you don't like what she looks like, you love her don't you? Don't fight it" 'It's not really about that. We both didn't know who we both were until last night" he says, and he was not nervous about anything before but now, I feel that he is because what I might tell him if I find out who he was dating 'Who is she?" I ask 'It's Bianca" I say and closed my eyes She went silent. I slowly open my eyes and she chuckled 'So, you thought I would be mad about you and Bianca dating?" she says 'Yes?" 'No. I'm not. Before she left, we were both on good terms. I find it cute that you were both finding someone to date and ended up…this" she says 'So, you're okay with it?" Sebastian asks 'Yeah. I mean, why not? She's a good person, whatever she did to me, to us, it was long gone." Kristen says and smiled So, I fished out my phone and immediately sent her a message. ---Kristen wasn't mad. In fact she find it cute when I told her we were dating— 'You should call her and let me talk to her" Kristen says I obliged and I called her turning the camera on. 'Hey" I hear her voice, 'Open your camera, so I can see you" 'No, I look like a mess" she says Give it to me, Kristen mouthed 'Bianca, it's me. Open you camera" Kristen says pushing Sebastian away from her 'You should wipe your mascara off" Kristen says I furrowed my eyebrows. 'Stop crying, silly. It's fine. You should come home now, if you're worried about Sebastian, don't. I would kick his ass if he stays mad at you" Kristen says I look at Sebastian and he looks so annoyed but he can't say no to Kristen, anyway. 'I will bring this back to Kyle. So, you two talk, alright? It's fine" she says and Bianca doesn't talk, until Kristen gave my phone back. 'I know this is so shocking but hey, we're fine" I tell her She just nods. 'So, come home alright?" I ask hoping she would say yes 'I will, but not now though. I hope that's alright?" I smiled 'Of course. Well, I never expected to fall in love with you" 'I didn't either. We both hated each other" she says and I chuckled 'Kristen hated Sebastian when they first met too. So, nothing is impossible" Kristen eyes widen and I look at Sebastian, his face was filled with unknown emotions. 'Well, I guess, I should've left before saying that" I tell Bianca 'I think, you should hung up and go home first and call again" she says I nod and I hung up. 'I guess, I should leave now" I say and I nervously laughed 'I think you should before I could throw something at you" Kristen says and I ran out the door laughing. I shake my head, and head home. I called Bianca again, and we spent the whole day just talking to each other. A day well fucking spent. I smiled to myself.
