10- Erich Black
Red was looking around the mansion with Ava walking behind her.
"Ava... Tell me, Does Lucifer always stay away from home?" She asked, leaning on the railing.
"Yeah. He's a busy person. He usually goes to the club after work and comes home late at night."
"I see. Do you know how many women he's been with?"
"You are the first woman."
"Are you sure he is interested in women in the first place?" She asked.
"I don't know." Ava shrugged.
"Of course. Who knows?"
"And why do you care?" Lucifer's voice came.
"Oh hey, Welcome home, Hubby." Red waved. His brows arched in irritation as he motioned Ava to leave them alone.
"Don't give me those stupid nicknames." He muttered.
"Why? They are a way to express love." She smiled.
"Are you drunk?" He asked, taking a step closer.
"Nope. Why?"
"You are out of your mind." He sighed.
"I was asking. Since we are going to live with each other we can get to know each other." She said walking after him.
"It's been a month and I only get to see your face only on Sundays. You had the press conference to announce our marriage alone." She continued to ramble.
"You are so talkative, Red. Seal these lips for once." He said, stopping and turning to her.
"And go, your dress would be in the room. Get ready, we are leaving."
"Leaving? For where?" She asked.
"Jonathon's fashion show." He said.
"Jonathon?" She asked.
"J Dot. His name is Jonathon Dot. The brand." He told her with a sigh.
"I didn't know that." She muttered.
"Whatever. Get ready."
"What?! Really?" Her face lit up in extreme delight, she truly wanted to go and his out of the blue words gave her unexpected joy.
"Yes. That's why I came back early. Now go."
"Aw! You are the best. I love you." She grinned.
"Stop it." He entered his room making a weird face to hear her idiotic words.
She laughed and was about to leave but he called her.
"Red, Listen." She stopped in her tracks and turned to him.
"Yes?"
"I wanted to tell you, Our marriage papers have been registered. You are officially my wife as of today." He informed her.
She chuckled dryly, "Do you call it a marriage?" She asked.
"No, it's not. Just wanted to inform you." He said.
"I see. I will get ready." She said and left to get ready.
In her room, the dress she chose along with the stylists to get her ready was already there.
"Hey." She smiled.
Red gets ready, looking exquisite to one's desires. The captivation of her looks was on another level. A perfect tone of makeup along with her dark green gown, fitted to her body.
Adorn with sequins, a belt around the waist. Her hair letting loose, curled at the edge and secured in a waterfall braid hairstyle with a few strands falling on her face.
Knowing she is looking heart piercing enough, she urged to see whether this could make Lucifer compelled to look at her.
"Thank you for your hard work." She said to the stylists.
"That's what we do. Just go and tempt your husband with this." The stylist winked.
"I will." She chuckled and walked down.
She walked down the stairs with her eyes falling upon a certain beguiling figure of Lucifer weaning a maroon suit jacket. A brooch connecting the lapel to the front pocket.
He already looks enthralling enough while going to work and now his beauty has enhanced a million times. Those onyx eyes, ready to captivate any heart in them.
"God, Do you know how handsome you are?"
Red spoke to Lucifer who was talking on his phone about the case which is coming to an end and the odds are going in his favor.
He slowly turned to Red who made his heart skip a beat. His eyes stared deeply at her.
"How do I look?" She asked seductively, walking to him and putting her hand on his shoulder.
"You surely look enticing enough." She smirked. His eyes cascaded down, scanning her and stopping at her eyes as his magnetic looks and aura is back.
He held her hand over his shoulder and bow a bit, kissing the back of his palm,
"Indeed, you are a sight to behold, Mrs Grave." He also spoke seductively, he spun her around and abruptly pulled her to him.
Not breaking the gaze as a smirk slowly crept upon his lips making Red's heart race, trying not to melt in his affectation.
His one hand held her waist as he leaned in down to her neck, making her shiver.
I have a year to show you the fatality of my ocean..." He whispered, moving to her ears, Red held his coat, lowering her gaze with a blush hidden behind makeup made her breath rough.
"Make sure to keep your emotions at bay." He let out a suppressed laugh, moving away.
"You are still a novice in seduction, dearest wife. Take notes." Lucifer laughed.
Moving away and letting go of her but she didn't let go of his coat, still looking down.
"Red?" He called her.
"Huh?"
"Was it too much?" He teased her.
"S-shut up." She pushed him and took a step back.
He laughed and offered her his hand.
"Come on. Let's go." He said decently.
She took his hand with a pout as they left.
On the way, Red said, "I don't trust you."
"What?"
"With such skills, God knows how many women you have swayed."
"I never swayed any woman." He defended.
"Then how in the hell are you too good with it?" Red asked.
"It's a trait." He shrugged.
She narrowed her eyes to him, "Don't tell me you are like Christian Grey. I don't make love, I fu-"
"For God's sake, Red, don't compare me with him. I neither have a girlfriend nor any woman to play with in my life." He said, getting annoyed.
"Then how in the hell can you be so professional- wait a minute, you never had a girlfriend?"
"No."
"White lie." She muttered.
"Why?" She asked.
"I just don't want it." He said.
"Why? there must be a reason." Lucifer closed his eyes and leaned back, not replying to her.
"Have you ever been to a fashion show before?" Lucifer asked.
"Of course! You think I did nothing in university? I worked as an assistant for many designers, had a job at an event planning agency so I could attend galas."
"The only thing is I haven't attended them as a significant figure." Closing her arms at her chest, boasting in pride by sharing her experience.
"And this will help me when I get famous." She hummed.
He smiled, mesmerizing her absolute faith in her.
You know Red, Your eyes glisten with unwavering confidence. Never let this shine fade away." He said sincerely.
She stopped her nonstop talks she used to do with her Mama and Bertha and now is doing with Lucifer and turned to him.
She smiled radiantly, She took his hand and intertwined her pinky finger with his, making him dazzled but her action,
"I promise, no matter how much hardship I will face, I won't lose hope and one day... You will ship my clothes around the world." She promised.
"I will wait for that day." He smiled back and pulled away.
Soon they reached their destination and walked out. Without having any hint of nervousness, Red and Lucifer walked inside.
"Thanks for bringing me here." Red said, wrapping her hand around his arm as they walked inside after clicking a few pictures to post on social media to tell about how 'lovingly' they are living their life.
"I am so excited." Red said, holding him tightly.
"I can see it." He chuckled.
"Oh, look who's here?" J Dot whose real name is Jonathon, the designer came.
"Never thought you'd actually come, Lucifer and with... your wife." he said, coming and greeting them.
"Yeah... My wife is fond of fashion shows." Lucifer turned to look at Red.
"And her wish is my command."
"Woah. You seem like an ideal husband." He said.
"He is." Red said, staring back at Lucifer.
"I could see why you are called the Rising Couple." he chuckled.
"Ah, this day is full of surprises," He said to herself.
"Why?"
"Another unexpected guest came."
"Who?"
"Our partner from America. Erich Black."
