36- He Loves Her
"I used to watch her from afar, nothing else."
"Don't tell you don't even know her last name?"
"I don't."
"Red Bennet."
'"Are you trying to blackmail me?" He asked, ignoring that he literally knew nothing about Red.
"Yes. Make me your shrink or else I will tell Red about you." April threatened him.
"Why are you not getting it, April? I want to stay away from Red. I don't love her." Erich said exasperatedly, exhausted from inside by his emotions.
"Because you know once everything starts you can't go back."
'What else could it be?' Erich thought. "And You have two days to think about it."
April gave him her usual smirk and left as Erich cursed under his breath, knowing he is stuck in a very undesirable situation, not wanting to be a bad guy on Red's side, Erich agreed.
It was their first therapy session and Erich's fury was emitting from him. Growling at his condition where he is stuck with April who was smirking at his pathetic self.
"I thought you considered Red your friend."
"First, She is my friend. Second, We won't discuss me in our session." April said, pointing her index finger at him.
"Why are you after me?" Erich rudely asked.
"Red felt bad." April said, out of blue to see his reaction.
"Did she say anything about me to you?" Erich quickly asked, hopelessly.
April let out a suppressed laugh and shook her head.
"Oh, look at your face when I mentioned her. No matter how much you deny, in the end, you cannot pull away from Red."
Erich frowned and rolled his eyes, closing his arms at his chest.
"I could have gathered myself but you are dragging back to where I started."
"You are hurting, Erich."
"And you are increasing it!" He said, raising his voice but immediately calming down and said sadly.
"Why are you doing this?"
"So you could realize how it feels when you lose the one you love." April snarled.
"What have you lost?" Erich asked and she replied in her heart, 'You.'
"April you are not getting it. Her name hurts me, I want to be away from her, far enough that I will die and she wouldn't know." Erich said, telling her the condition of his heart which is on the verge of busting.
"Stranger?"
"Yes."
"Because you are afraid to go too far."
"Yes and I am scared I might not hurt her unintentionally." Erich told her and April could clearly see his desperation and despair.
"How hopeless." April scoffed, laughing and Erich narrowed her eyes at her, standing up.
"Fine then, how about we do the things your way to ease your pain?" April suggested, licking her lips enticingly.
Erich smirked, finally doing one thing which could provide a short-live lull to him. Getting up and walking to her, brushing his thumb over her lips.
"That's what I want to receive. A reprieve." He said, leaning down nuzzling to her neck, making her shiver slightly as he gave her one order,
"Strip."
And that's how Erich came to know everything about Red, what she does, what doesn't.
April used to tell him everything and even thought it was a guilty pleasure Erich had no choice but to listen while proceeding their therapy sessions by Erich 'ways'-
At least use one way to quench his thirst but to no avail as those feelings only grew stronger when the time passed.
~ 2 Years Later ~
"April, you can't go! I have finally received my degree in fashion designing and you can't leave me all because of a damn therapy session!" Red said.
"I am so sorry Red but I have to go. Look, I baked a chocolate cake. I know it's yours and Bertha's favorite. Please I cannot join you, I have to go."
"I hate this guy!"
"Come on, Red. I need to go and meet my client. I promise, when I return, I will give you a party." April said expectantly.
"Really?" Red asked timidly.
April grinned and hugged her, "Yes."
"Fine." Red mumbled, passing her a faint smile.
"Tell me how was the cake, okay?" April said, Red smiled and nodded.
"Okay, then. Bye."
"Bye!"
Red went home, cheering and being congratulated for receiving her degree.
Mrs Bennet set the dinner table, laughing at her daughter who was standing on the sofa, saying,
"Just look at this sexy piece of paper." Red tittered, holding her fashion designing degree in her hands. Standing on the couch, elated.
"Just you guys watch, I am going to make my presence firm. Red Bennet, World famous fashion designer."
'A new morning glory' will be our motto and one day, I will be entailed with Black Fabrics. I have heard they only work with famous figures."
"This is the first step, I shall reach my dream and you will see celebrities wearing my brand. Filthy rich people will die for it. My dream will be fulfilled." She went on and on.
"Of course you will succeed in life and everything you said will happen, Sweetie." Mrs Bennet clapped for her along with Bertha.
"Congrats, Red!"
"And my grand outlet will be in New York-" Bertha cut Red off,
"Hey, Hey, We have listened to your speech Red, now come, we have to cut the cake, or else I will eat it all alone." Bertha whined.
She was two years younger than Red, doing CA. Her degree depends upon the number of papers left for her to clear.
"Hey! Here I am telling you my ambition and you are not listening." Red clicked her tongue at her.
"We have been hearing it since the very first day you were enrolled in the University."
"Listen one last time, who knows I will become arrogant after becoming famous." Red chuckled, getting down from the couch.
"Stay well and become successful in life. I will pray for you two." Mrs Bennet smiled mesmerizingly at her daughters.
Red hugged her and they cut the cake to celebrate this memorable event.

At the pomp of the next morning in NYC, a certain couple was sleeping on the bed of a hotel room woken by the sound of an alarm.
Erich woke up and went to freshen up, when he got out he saw April has woken up,
"Morning... Erich." April said, turning to him.
Erich hummed, stoic as usual, not paying attention to her. A scornful laugh echoed in the hotel room along with a seductive voice of April staring intently at Erich who was getting ready.
"For how long are you going to consider your love as lust and come to me?" She asked with a smirk.
"Shut up." He frowned.
'You made me like this woman!' He thought but didn't reply. At that time, Erich had a firm grip over himself.
"I can see a fierce fire in you." She chuckled, winking at him, while sitting up.
"Don't be absurd. Neither you nor Red mean anything to me." Erich's voice lacked any skeptic, pure cold. "Then what are we?" Her voice abruptly became dire.
He spared a glance at her while taking his stuff, "You are an addiction while she is a need." 'The need you originated.'
He walked out of her suite and waited for her. She washed herself and walked out after getting ready.
"I can understand I am an addiction but how can a person you didn't talk with be considered as a need."
"Believe it or not, Erich. But you are in love with her. You have collected all the love for her in your heart and taken the lust for her on me." April hissed.
He smirked and looked at her with dark amusement.
"Then stop this illicit therapy. 'You' have the authority to do that."
"If I wanted to stop, then I wouldn't have started." She smirked back.
"Anyways, Go to your Red and tell her. You saw her for a year in university. She was a freshman and you were a senior and were instantly attracted to her ever since."
"Time will tell about it, but remember one thing, April." Erich stood up, unbuttoning his jacket, "What?"
"Red is retained to Be mine and if I have to break seven skies for it- I will."
He declared and left with his resoluteness.
After he left, April laughed and shook her head.
"That idiot still denies the fact he loves her."
