27- Unexpectedly or Deliberately?
NYC
A certain guy who swayed every woman he laid his eyes upon couldn't possess one and was overwhelmed by his emotions as he was pacing around his Therapist's cabin.
Frustrated after seeing the pictures of Red's honeymoon.
"You know what, April? I am a donkey."
Erich said, pulling his hairs while April crossed her legs and filed her nails, not paying attention to his verge of breakdown.
"Hmm... I know."
"I don't know what happened to me. She will surely hate me, I just couldn't control my emotions and the grip I had on myself shattered, everything crumbled when I saw her after four years." He began to lose his patience.
"After all this time, when I saw her, everything stopped. It was all your fault! If you hadn't fueled my emotion- I'd be at peace!"
April sighed, not even bothering to look up at his devastated form.
"The decision taken by the control of emotions is fatal. You should have thought- Oh, Sorry, You lost your ability to think at that time."
"Shut up! Don't vex me more. I don't know what she will think of me now." He scowled at her.
"Stalker, what else?" April smiled mockingly, looking at her nails.
"I never stalked her!" He hissed, slamming his hand down.
"You know I came from California to New York City just to avoid Red. You approached me, I was trying to forget her." Erich's voice cracked up, distressed, agonized, broken.
"We are discussing you, Erich. Don't mention me." April warned in a strict tone.
"I am not a stalker." Erich whispered.
"Hmm. I know. But she doesn't know the truth, and your actions of telling her everything will result in you knowing what." She replied coldly.
"Remember what she said, 'I hope I don't see his face. Ever.' What if she came to know that It's you." She asked further, increasing his appall.
"Are you trying to blackmail me?" He asked, arching a brow in utmost rage.
"No, just hitting you with reality." She sighed.
"Forget her, Erich, Change your needs." April said sternly, finally looking at him.
"You are saying this? You? You know I have gotten too far, I can't go back now." Erich said desperately.
"Then what can you do now, Erich? I never made you go to Kylies' fashion show and reveal yourself to Red, it was your decision!" She hissed, losing her patience.
"And now you have embedded fright in her heart. And you have to twist fate now to claim her." April said exasperatedly.
"Fine, then I will do it." He growled, straightening his back in a dominant posture.
"Are You out of your mind?! Are you going to force her!? I won't let you harm her!" April said, getting up from her seat and raising her voice.
"Then what should I do? She is having wrong thoughts about me, drifting more away and I can't do anything. You know everything... don't leave me in the dark."
"Accept you love-" But he cut her nonchalant tone with his authoritative one.
"I DON'T LOVE HER!" Erich shouted in a crying voice, startling at his tone to find him broken beyond repair.
Falling on his seat as tears brimmed in his eyes. "It's not love. She said it wasn't." Erich whispered, breaking into soft sobs.
April's eyes widened in shock to see him break apart what never happened in their session before, it startled her. He was crying, wailing his misery out in the form of tears and it drowned April in the guilt of her sinful deeds.
"None of you understands it!"
"She is not my love... I know I am crazy about her, my soul resides in her, mad about her ever since I saw her but she is not my love, call it obsession, need, obstinacy, a drug.. Anything but not love."
Erich sobbed, hiding his face in his hands as his agony was spilled from his eyes, unable to hold his emotions and heartache, he let it all out. His pain was slipping through his fingers, He cannot grasp it anymore.
April sat beside him and patted his back a little.
"Erich... Why?" She compassionately asked, looking at his ravaged form.
"Because April... if it was love, I would have let her go. I wouldn't hide like a coward and say it to her face that I love her but I didn't..." Erich sniffed, wiping tears from his eyes.
April embraced him as he cried softly in her arms. "I can't do anything now. I have lost my time... I lost her." He whispered, holding her tightly.
"She can't be yours."
"But I am hers." Erich said, looking at April with his teary gaze.
"Every inch of this core does. My breath, my heartbeat, my everything belongs to her. It has her name and It cannot be eradicated now."
"I am sorry." April said as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"It's all my fault." April also began to cry.
"You could have collected yourself and overcome it but I burned you and brought you to this point. I am so sorry." April sobbed.
Holding his arms, lowering her head in disgraced and shame as penitence emitted from her whole being.
"It's meaningless now." Erich forced a smile, pulling away while wiping his tears.
"We can't do anything now." Erich said, looking down, curving his lips upward and trying not to cry.
"You know, April, I have been with many women, tried different methods to find redemption but this heart of mine said, I will find my lost tranquility in her arms."
April sniffed and bit her lips to not cry and replied in a hoarse voice, "And after what I did, All I could do is to pray for it to happen..."

In a far off land, Red who was oblivious of the fact someone is shredding tears for her. She was enjoying her honeymoon with her husband, laughing and talking.
"Gosh, I love this anklet, look how beautiful it is." Red beamed going after Lucifer in the woods.
Lucifer is giving her a tour of his land and it was their last day and he saved this spot for this moment.
"Hmm. I know. Lucifer hummed.
"And you, oh you are unaware of the fact that you are an ancient Greek God."
Red continued to speak like a radio, smiling while walking with him merrily.
"Really?"
"Yeah, and you were so romantic there. Almost like another person.... You know, I also want a partner like you."
Lucifer stopped when he heard it and turned to her, giving her a sad look.
'Why does someone like me but not me?' He thought.
"What?" Red asked.
"No. Nothing." He sighed and moved away, continuing to walk, worried what's happening to him.
"This place is nice, you should have come here to camp with your friends." Red said, looking around and clicking random pictures.
"I don't have any friends." Lucifer said.
"What?! Why?"
"I had Fio- Nothing. I just didn't want to make one."
"Oh, introvert." Red mused and continued to walk but her ankle twisted and her sandal broke.
"What the-!" Red stumbled and fell on Lucifer's chest.
"Red, are you alright?" He asked, helping her to stand.
"My sandals." Red frowned.
"Carry me on your shoulder." Red grinned.
"What? Why?"
"Please Lucifer. Carry me and also take a picture. Please..." Red said, giving him an innocent look.
Lucifer stared at her face for two seconds and sighed. Red climbed his shoulders and set her phone to take a picture.
Red grinned while Lucifer was frowning while holding her sandals.
They took the picture and Red said."It's going on Instagram. Ah, I look exquisite."
"Oh, I look great in it. I am sure it's a memorable trip for us. It will bring us closer and make you cry in the end to indicate you love me."
"Why are you stuck on making me cry?" Lucifer asked.
"Just for fun." Red smiled and pinched his cheeks, annoying him as he took Red to a waterfall nearby.
Red's eyes shone in admiration when Lucifer put her down, feeling the coldness her bare feet felt as an instant pacification was sent to her core.
"It's so beautiful." Red said, looking around.
"I have never seen a waterfall before." Red said.
"You didn't?" Lucifer asked, taken aback.
"No. I have seen a lake before and spent most of my time at the beach but never a waterfall, it's a sight to behold... No less than a blessing."
Red smiled, walking closer. Red took off her shirt and before Lucifer asked what she was doing Red jumped into the water.
Lucifer laughed seeing her and took off his shirt as well, coming after her.
"Oh, it's cold." Red chuckled.
"Yeah."
"And your hot body can't warm it." Red giggled, looking around, pushing behind her hairs while Lucifer was looking at her.
"You are pretty, Red. You know it?" Lucifer said out of blue, astonished by his words.
"What? Oh, I know." Red smirked. Red turned to Lucifer staring at him,
'I wonder if there are any men like you.' Red thought.
"And you are very desirable."
Red whispered, coming closer as her heart began to beat fast and the more she looked at his eyes, she got lost.
"Are you trying to seduce me?" Lucifer teased. Red smiled but it faded soon.
"What happened?" Lucifer asked.
"I think the strap of my bra is open, could you take a look?" Red asked timidly.
"M-Me? .. Okay.." Lucifer said vaguely. His heart skipped a beat when she turned.
A blush crept upon his cheeks with his heart thumping against his chest.
"Red... um.. It's broken. I will get you my shirt, wait here." He said, going out of the water and got her his shirt.
Red didn't come out, she was lost in her thoughts, something that never crossed her mind before, stirred it. Lucifer called her but she didn't listen so he went after her.
"Here you go." Red's heart raced against its chest as she curled her hands in a fist, letting out a shallow breath.
'It's a fake bond you can't attach feelings to, Red!' Red scolded herself.
"Red?" Red hesitantly took the shirt and wore it shaking her head to let her ridiculous thoughts out .
"Are you okay?" I'm sorry.
Red turned to him, staring deeply at him while moving closer.
Lucifer opened his mouth to ask something but Red cupped his cheeks and pulled him into a kiss!
