53- Painful words

Back to the point where Lucifer thought Erich would be the bad guy in the eyes of everyone and Red after his action of either insulting Red or throwing her out but his plan failed. At some peculiar points he was ashamed of his depraved thoughts which led him to do this but what could he do anyways? Believing Red is not happy. Lucifer firmly believes Red is forced into this marriage, he will do anything to win her trust and give her the life they always desire, the life they dreamed together for a brief moment, he cannot let go of it. But his everything washed away when he saw Erich kissing Red under the heavy rain with such passion. It burned his very core badly. His plan was left hanging as he cannot be the hero of her eyes, not today. Lucifer cursed under his breath and went back to April's apartment, the place he is staying. "What the fuck was that, April!?" Lucifer yelled, pulling his hairs in frustration. "Why? What happened?" April asked, raising an eyebrow. Not getting when everything went according to the plan, why he is wrathful. "They kissed! I told you to watch out for any mistake." He snarled, taking April by utter shock. "What!?" She whisper-yelled, hoping she heard it wrong. "How could this happen?" April asked. "It happened! He kissed her right in the middle of the rain!" Lucifer shouted, blazed by the undesirable sight. "Oh, He kissed her?" April immediately calmed down and sighed. "I thought they kissed." Her tone held a glint of disappointment for Erich. "It's the same." Lucifer reasoned. "No, it's not. Leave it to Red. She will place his brain right." April smiled, taking a seat. "How do you know?" Lucifer asked. "I know everything." She smirked. "How do you know everything?" Lucifer asked, taking a step closer. "I will tell you when the time will come." She waved, looking away. "No, I want to know why you hold such a loath for Erich?" "I don't hate him." April replied quickly to his words. Lucifer narrowed his eyes, "I don't think you are a side part, what you have is possessed by no one else." Lucifer sternly. "Tell me." He demanded. "I envied Erich, he claimed the one he loved." April scowled, looking down, gritting her teeth. "I was jealous that he loves someone else." "You love him?" Lucifer asked in disbelief. April let out an empty laugh, "I don't know myself or my emotions anymore. But one thing is certain- I don't want to hurt anyone now." "Then tell everyone the truth." Lucifer suggested. "Are you out of your mind? Do you know how much havoc it will create?!" April yelled. "It was your fault." April looked down, joining her fingers together, trying not to cry. "All that matters for me is Red, April. I need the truth. Now." "And what if I refuse?" April asked. "And what if I go to Erich and talk it out?" "You are crazy." April said, shaking her head. "I can't tell you now." "Why?" He asked. I don't want to lose my only friend. "I don't want to lose my shore." She replied. "You did." Lucifer told her the harsh truth, "Do you want to know everything?" April asked suddenly. Lucifer stared intensely at her and nodded. April sighed deeply and began to tell Lucifer everything, the reality of Erich hidden from Red... everything. ~~•~~• To Erich and Red who were drenching in the rain while Erich took her in an abrupt but in-depth kiss where he did receive a bliss he always desired and hoped badly that she would understand the language of his actions where he showed his emotions to her openly. For the first time, he was unafraid and let out the passion burning in his mind, intoxicating him to the point everything became unbearable for him and he burst it. He moved his lips upon hers, Red's grip on his shirt tightened, unable to move. She just stared at him while he, with his eyes closed, kissed her. Red shivered when he wrapped his arms around her neck and pulled her close. Erich witnessed the moment he never thought he would, which acted as an eternal source of salvation as he gradually pulled away, speaking breathlessly. "I am sorry for what I said, Red... but.. I beg you for a chance..." "Chance for what?" Her voice came out like a vague whisper. He bore his eyes into hers, heart thumping against his chest, "To call you mine." Red gulped hard and put her hand over his chest, staring at the agony scattered in his eyes. "The point where you bear this much pain, take the rest of your life as well." A tear rolled down his cheek as he replied in an inaudible tone, "I won't complain." His words were sincere as he was used to the pain. Red clutched his shirt between her fingers, her eyes narrowed slowly, converting into a growl as she gave him a glare and pushed him away with much force, aghasting him. "Then don't you dare to close the distance ever again!" Red yelled at him. Erich's lips began to quiver, incapable to be aware of his surroundings, submerged in the abyss. "R-Red.. I.. I.." His shaky form couldn't make his own words as an arrow pierced right through his heart. "You want to know the truth?" Red hissed. "H-Huh?" All of it was beyond his abilities to fathom with tears blurring his vision again. Red growled, coming closer and grabbing his collar, telling him the harsh reality. "I never loved you! I never felt anything for you! I would never give you a chance!" Red clenched his heart in her hands by her words of reality which he wasn't ready to face as it shattered his heart. Erich was astounded with tears rolling down his cheek. "Red..." His voice came out broken, losing his breath and senses. Red sniffed with her trembling form and continued, "Lucifer didn't come back that's why I used you to get him back because I knew if he came to know if I marry you, he would break every boundary to reach me." Red lowered her head, hugging her side, shredding tears mixing with rain. "You never had a place in my life! I just need you to get back Lucifer." Red exhaled deeply, looking at Erich again with seethe, "Because I know, no matter how much I punish Lucifer, In the end I will go back to him and you. You never had a place in my life. I HATE YOU!" Red shouted, breaking into sobs, a booming sound echoed in their minds stirring it drastically with unbearable pain and anguish. The uncontrollable tears rolled down his cheek as a reminder of his lost pain, constantly aching his heart. In the worst condition, he was heartbroken and to increase the intensity of his devastation, she contributed her words. "W-What did I e-ever do to y-you?!... Why are you h-holding such... re-resentment for me?" His voice faded in between and with the last tear he lost. Erich let out his extensive fury, "WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HURT ME!?" He yelled, releasing his sobs of misery, showing his destruction through his tears. "The problem is you did nothing! What do you want to show? That you are in love with me?" She grit her teeth and hissed, "I feel repulsion for you." Erich's eyes widened in shock as he stumbled back after hearing this, gasping the ultimate cry when you fell from grace. The level of hatred emptied him. The word repulsion broke the dream he hoped to build. ...You were so close to being seen as night and sky for me only to realize they held no meaning...
