Feelings

I stand there dumbfounded on what I was supposed to do, I mean I knew somebody would be in here but not the agent that has been missing! Jackson stood there frozen in place, I also knew this was down to shock from seeing his sister, the one we were just talking about right in front of him after all this time. 'Jackson, oh my god you've found me." Allison cries once the shock had somewhat passed, Jackson takes a look at me to make sure I was okay before he rushes over to help his sister out of the chains. 'I've been here for years, I never thought I would get to see you again." She cries as he's finally able to loosen the chains and she slips out. The first thing she does is wrap her arms around her brother, he soon holds her tightly as they cry against each other. I smile but did feel like a really obvious spare part, perhaps I should just take a seat so I'm really not out in the open like this. 'You guys have to be careful of Derek, he isn't what he says he is and actually works with Mario." She cries pulling away to look at Jackson, who nods his head with a smile. 'Yes, we know, he's been arrested which is what led us to this place in the beginning!" Jackson says which is true, we've done much more work than my mother and her team at this point. Alison now looks away at her brother to me, I was still stood in the same place at the door. I kept looking outside just in case Mario pops up from somewhere, gosh knows he was quick when he kidnapped my dad that time! 'Is this your partner?" She asks which nearly makes me laugh, I bet my mother would he so happy to hear me getting called that. 'Technically no, she doesn't work at the agency but yes she's become my partner, this is Ally." Jackson says which to me makes sense as I know what we have been doing, but to many others he would have just contradicted himself. 'Wait Ally, Ally Carter as in Joanna's daughter?" Allison asks which I nod my head too, I love how when people think of me, they always go to my mother, I guess she's more interesting. 'So, you're not an agent but you're here?" She asks which I knew meant she really wasn't understanding anything that has happened, so much has happened which has made it hard to keep up. 'Not by choice, Mario has my father and I've been put in witness protection. Jackson is my babysitter of sorts while they look for him, we really shouldn't be doing this but here we are." I say trying to keep my mind away from my dad, whenever I think of him, I always get upset and that would be taking away their moment. 'Anyway, pretend I'm not here." I say putting my hands behind my back with a little smile, Jackson sends me a smile before pulling his phone out. 'I'll call this in so you can get help." He says but my eyes soon go wide, hasn't he been listening to what I just said?! 'Jackson, we can't be here when they get here, you can't even call the tip in, or they'll know we have been looking into it." I say running over and placing my hand on his phone, he looks down at me than back at his sister not knowing what to do. 'You're right, but we can't just leave my sister here so that we know where she is." She says really showing more emotion than she ever has towards me before, I smile taking his hand to help him feel better. 'We won't leave her here, we'll send another tip like we did in the office, and you know my mum and Reece will come straight here, we'll mission impossible it again." I say with a smile to make him feel better, this does make a tiny smile creep onto his lips before he nods his head. 'I know you probably don't want to be here any longer than you already have, but if they found out we've been doing our mini investigations behind their backs, they'll be mega pissed off, I promise we'll send people right here." I say now having to persuade Allison to agree with us, I mean she has the right to flat out tell me no if she wanted. 'You two go, I've been here for what a year, what's a few more minutes going to do. You guys were never here I promise." She smiles pushing me and Jackson to the door, where the sounds of the rain outside only gets louder. 'Thank you, as soon as I get back to the car, we'll call it in." Jackson says to his sister who was just nodding with a smile, Jackson looks at me before taking my hand and running us both back into the very stormy night sky. We nearly fell multiple times in the mud of the field as we ran, but in no time, we had arrived back in the car sheltering from the rain. Jackson pulls his phone out again where I have to stop him. 'You can't use your own number, Jackson; I'm going to take this as you're still in shock from seeing your sister and not that you're forgetting all your training." I smile which he soon nods his head to, this is also the most anxious I've seen Jackson too. 'We need to go to some sort of pay phone and just keep it simple, we don't need them recognising our voices." I say as Jackson pulls away and heads towards the little village down the road from the field, the longer we wait the better the chance of Mario finding out we know where Allison is and will head over to move her. 'I'll use the pay phone; I can use an app on my phone to change my voice. Wait here." He says as we pull up at a really old phone box, I nod my head as he climbs out of the car and runs over to the phone. Now I was alone I take a deep breath in; I don't think I'm really processing what's happening due to how quickly it's all unfolding. In minutes, Jackson was back in the car and driving us down the road rather quickly. 'We have to get away from here before they track the phone and come to check it out, but they'll also come to my house to tell me they've found Allison, and we have to be there." He says slipping his seatbelt on as he goes, but he does look over at me with a smile. 'Thank you, Ally, the underdogs have done it again." He smiles which does make another smile fill my lips. 'I told you I have your back." I reply as he reaches over and takes my hand in his. Oh boy I'm feeling feelings!
