Reece starts to explain while still leaning on the filing cabinet, isn't he afraid that he's going to break that or something? "Mario definitely fits that category." He says shaking his head looking down at the ground, that's all anyone ever says when they talk about this Mario dude. 'And you guys are sure that this Mario man, is the one that has my dad?" I ask looking at each of them, I didn't want to undermine them, but they have to be sure they're not barking up the wrong tree. 'We are certain it's Mario that has your dad, not only did he ring me right after your dad was kidnapped but…. he had a photo of your dad sent over as proof." My mum said which makes my heart sink, I knew this wasn't a cute artsy photo of my dad sitting on a tree branch hitting the peace sign, but something bad. 'I know this is a stupid question, was dad, okay?" I ask looking up at her as I asked, this causes her to sigh taking a seat back. 'He doesn't look like himself but he's alive if that's what you mean." She says dancing around the answer, but at least she wasn't flat out lying to me. 'Are you any closer to finding this Mario man, I know you said you were close just before he got dad but are you any closer?" I ask knowing I was asking so many questions, but for my own peace of mind, I needed to know these basic questions. 'We thought we were close, but the photo didn't only show us your dad was alive, it also showed us they have moved locations which has put us back to square one." Reece explains still leaning against the filing cabinet, is no one else worried that he's going to break that? 'So, you're telling me you have no idea where they could be holding him?" I ask looking at them with a shocked expression, they shake their heads which only makes me sigh. 'Okay, I understand that all that but the one thing that I'm still not getting, is why that that man just turned into the hulk and tried attacking me?" I ask pointing to the door once again; I was hoping wherever that man was that he's calming down! 'That man is one of our workers, Derek." Reece explains but doesn't get to the point on why he tried attacking me, I'm glad I know his name, but I need a little more information than that. 'His fiancé Allison, she was looking into Mario and ended up getting abducted, neither her nor her car has been seen since." Reece says which did start to make things make sense, but he still didn't have to turn on me! 'I'm going to take a guess and say the car that I saw, was her car." I say not having to be a genus or an agent to understand that my mum nods her head with a little smile. 'Woah, I mean I don't know what I expected from being dumped in this situation but it definitely, wasn't being put in this kind of situation." I say at a loss for words, I'm not even sure what I said made any sense! 'Now you see the dilemma that we have, but we're the ones that are having to try and fight out way out of it." Reece says with a sigh, but I shake my head not just allowing him to put what's happening with my dad to the side. 'Even if it's hard, you still have to fight to find my dad and that Allison person, or I'm worried Derek will set his sights on me again!" I exclaim which only makes Jackson laugh, why do people keep laughing at me?! 'What can I do to help, I'm not the type of person who's just gonna sit and wait for other people to do something, let me do anything!" I say mainly looking at my mum, I could see from how people act around her that she's the boss. 'Like I said Ally, I don't want you getting hurt, your dads already somewhere that I don't know. What would I do if that happened to you?" She asks looking me in the eyes this time, if anything has come out of this experience, it would be my mum actually showing that she cares. 'Like that is ever going to happen to me, one I could fight my way out of places, you won't even believe the number of scraps I've had with punters over the years." I say thinking back to all of the angry people I've met at the restaurant; people really get annoyed over food. 'Not only that, but I've also got my own personal babysitter!" I say pointing over to Jackson, he looks shocked at first but soon smiles shaking his head. 'I know to you Jackson might seem like a lot, but he doesn't have the guts to do any real work, which is why he's your babysitter." Reece says which I thought was really harsh, I take a quick look to Jackson who just shakes his head once again. 'Ally, I can't allow you to get involved in this situation. It's not only because I'm worried, you'll get hurt but you're not trained." She says while I give her a look, she's really going to have to do better than that. 'I was under the impression that you were the boss." I say crossing my arms over my chest, she smiles looking up at Reece who was also smiling. 'I am the boss and as boss, I'm telling you that you're not allowed to help with this investigation. You and Jackson are to wait on the sidelines until we catch these guys." She says which only makes me roll my eyes, but I knew she wasn't going to go back on her decision, annoyingly. 'Fine, I understand that you want me to sit around twiddling my thumbs. I hope you enjoy this little fantasy you're playing." I smile sarcastically at her before standing up, I needed air as this place was so stuffy. 'Come on babysitter, it seems like we're in the room with too mighty trained individuals for our ranks." I say walking towards the door, I knew my mum trying to talk but I was already out of the door. Jackson was soon by my side sending me a smile as we stay quiet the whole journey down the stairs and into the carpark. This is where I see Jackson's car was no longer in the middle of the car park but had been moved off to the side. So, it seems like he couldn't just stop there after all! The silence continues as we both climb in the car; I could sense that Jackson wanted to say something but didn't know what. Once we were out of the carpark, he turns his head slightly to look over st me. 'I'm sorry you were told you had to sit this out." He sighs while I just smile, do people really believe that I was going to listen? 'I know we've just met so you don't really know me or how I like to do things, but one thing you'll need to learn is I never do what I'm told." I say with a smirk over at him, he looks confused and shocked as I continue to smile at him.
