Vigilante

After we both were finished breakfast, Jackson managing to fit three portions while I was still eating my own. We were soon both sat in my mother's office, which he made sure was locked just in case someone tries to enter the house when his guard was down. 'So how did you manage to get all of these files, you said it would be hard?" I ask as he locks the office door behind us, in an event of a fire that wouldn't be very safe! 'It went easier than I first expected, all of the systems are down at the office as maintenance are updating them. That gave me the opportunity to go into the building so I could sign in on paper, I acted as though I was looking for the toilet when really, I went into your mother's office and took a picture of every document on Mario that I could find." He explains whilst pulling his phone out and handing it over to me, I begin to scroll through all of his many photos of documents. 'You guys have all this information on this dude and you're still not closer to catching him?" I ask as he walks over to the printer and starts setting it up but does roll his eyes at my comment. 'Having information on this dude and catching him are two different things, yes we have information that has been so beneficial but, in the end, you need to manage to catch him at the right time." He says while taking the phone and starting to print everything off, while I remain sat at my mother's desk. 'Isn't it just great than that the two most overlooked individuals are taking control of this case and will be the ones to solve it?" I ask smiling sweetly at him as I went, he looks over sending me a smile with a shake of his head before getting back to what he was doing. The dream team in the making!! ~The day after the kidnapping~ Peter had been pacing the police station since he found Ally missing, he doesn't know what to do with himself now she's gone. None of the police would tell him anything, they only said it definitely looks like there was some kind of struggle and a car speeding away was definitely involved. But that wasn't giving Peter any closure, he just needed to know that Ally was somewhere safe, and she'd be back soon. He hadn't slept or eaten since it happened, he just paces and starts calling around to see if anyone has seen Ally, or her father for that matter! But everyone that he rings tells him the same thing, the last time they saw Ally was when she was at work with him. 'Peter, is it?" A man's voice breaks Peter from his troubled thoughts, he looks at the man to spot an officer type dude in a suit looking at him. 'Yeah, are there any updates on Ally or her dad?" Peter asks as soon as he realises who this man was, he was hoping and praying that he wasn't about to tell him some bad news. 'Sadly no, but I just wanted to let you know that I have been assigned as lead investigator for this case and I can assure you, that I will do everything in my power to work out what's happened and hopefully bring them back home." He says with a smile to try and ease some of Peter's stress, but his comment only makes Peter worry and angry at the same time. 'You said hopefully, there's no hopefully about it they are going to be brought home safe okay. Now I don't know your name but whoever you are, I don't want no beating around the bush crap, I want to know exactly what is happening and when it happens. I'm not having Ally and her dad just be a cold case which is stuck on a shelve and forgotten about for years, if you don't find them I will." Peter corrects him just telling this man the facts, in his hours of pacing he knew some things were for sure and one of them was, Ally was going to come back. 'You just said a lot of things so let's break it down, okay firstly, my name William, I can assure you Peter that I will not be putting this case on any kind of shelve. Ask any of my colleagues, I'm the officer that doesn't give up on a case until it's solved. If you want to be kept in the loop than I will, I'm not the bad guy here man, I'm the guy whose job it is to put those man guys away. I need you to help me, not go behind my back and said some vigilante type group." William says which Peter had to respect, he could see this man was the type of person not to let people walk all over him, which meant he must be good at his job. 'Ally is very important to me; I just need her to come home safe and all this mess or whatever the fuck happened to be put to bed. There's a lot of things I've never had the guts to say to her and I can't imagine a world where I would never get the chance to, just please bring her home safe." Peter says finally, letting down his walls slightly so William could know the truth, William smiles placing his hand on his shoulder. 'That is why we need your help; you know more about Ally than anyone on my team does which makes your help vital. How about you go home, get washed up and have some sleep? I have some questions I need to ask you but for Ally, I need you to be on your A game." William says which at first, Peter wanted to tell him no and for him just to ask him the questions. But when he said for Ally, he knew he had to do anything that he can. 'Okay, but I'll be back in a few hours." Peter says with a hard look, what he just said about this man solving the case or he will isn't off the table now he's going home. 'I know, I'll give you any updates then if they are any." William smiles as Peter begins to walk through the door, unknowing of the type of things him and his new police buddy will have to do to get Ally back.
