Chapter Twenty-Six

I drove the first half of the way so Toby wouldn't know where the alliance was, it was crazy the amount of times Toby's been out of the alliance and he still hasn't got a clue where it is. I pull up just before we reach the place so Toby could take over, people might asks questions if they see me driving into the fancy dinner and not Toby. Honestly, I was happy he took over as I haven't fully mastered how to drive in heels yet. We soon spot a bunch of cars lining up to go into a huge mansion, this must be place and woah there's gonna be a lot of people there! The mansion was very elegant, it was huge with lights going around each window, people in even posher outfits walking around. Down in the front entrance were valets, that would open the door to the Alpha who would run around and open his mates door. The queue was rather long but was going quickly, as I take a closer look I see a man checking the women's necks before they walk in. "They're checking for marks" I say sending a worried look to Toby, who just stuck his head out the window to see for himself "they won't let us in" I say trying to come up with a plan, but I didn't know how I was gonna get around this. We needed to get into this place, it's the biggest lead towards catching Richard, we can't let this big of an opportunity just pass us by. How suspicious would it be if we just drove passed and left, that wouldn't be a good way to start the undercover job. To save this mission, I knew there was only one thing I could do. "Mark me" I say turning to Toby, who to say was shocked was a huge understatement, he just stares me out not knowing if I was being serious "that's the only way we're gonna get in, just mark me!" I exclaim moving towards him, but I knew what type of pain I was about to endure. He does listen to this and pulls me even closer to him, he starts to kiss my neck trying to find the right spot. A shiver runs down my spine as he reaches a certain spot, this meant he had just located where the mark will sit. I feel his canines extent against my neck, before he bites down piecing the skin. I let out little squeal in pain, while grabbing hold of his jacket. After a few seconds, he pulls his teeth out and licks the blood that was running down my neck. My head soon falls on his chest, trying to get over the pain that I just went through. When I move back up to look at him, he just had this giant smile on his lips. "That is something I've wanted to do since I met you" he smiles while I roll my eyes, he would've had to wait longer if it wasn't for this place, how am I supposed to hide this when we get back home?! I pull down the sun visor from the car while opening the mirror section, the mark was clearly on my neck but there was an issue. The skin surrounding the mark was red, it would be clear to anyone looking at it that I was just marked that second. I go into my purse that was in the glove box, pulling out a bunch of makeup products. "I need to try and hide the fact this just happened" I say opening up my concealer, when I touched the mark though I had to pull away because it hurt, I'm gonna have to suck it up! I take a deep breath in before started to unload all the makeup on the red parts, my eyes even began to water as it hurt that bad. Toby would tell me I should stop but I couldn't, we needed to get in there. After a few painful minutes, I had fully covered all the red surrounding the mark. "There, like it's been there for ages" I sigh placing my head back on the seat, while waiting in this line I have experienced a bunch of pain! "It will be there forever" Toby smiles as I start to fix the makeup under my eyes, it was beginning to run from my eyes watering "so what is the plan?" Toby asks as he moves the car closer a little, but has to stop behind the same black car. "We go in there and just act normal, you'll probably know most of these people so just focus on having normal conversations with them. While you're putting on the normal act, I'm gonna be scanning everywhere to see if I find Denton, Richard or anything that would point us in the direction of finding out what M.S.P does" I explain putting my makeup away and back in the glove box, the plan seemed simple enough. "But Richard knows who you are" he worriedly tells me, while someone gets dragged out the building and thrown on the grass outside "If someone tries to do that you, they'll be ending up in a body bag" he says looking over at the poor guy picking himself off the floor, what a bunch of a-holes. "I'll be looking for Richard, but I think it's highly unlikely that he's gonna be there, as I said him and Denton aren't friends and he isn't really a part of M.S.P, he just does their dirty work" I say as we get closer to the entrance, now we were only one car away from it being our turn "why aren't they opening the door for the women?" I ask giving the people in front a confused look, isn't that a bit rude? "I'm not having another man opening your door and helping you out, that's my job" he growls slightly which does answer my question, Alpha's are very possessive. "Oh you haven't seen anything baby" he smirks his eyes a shade darker, wait did he just read my mind?! "You're now marked, we can mind-link and hear what each other are thinking" he smiles looking over at me with his signature smile, oh yeah I forgot you could do that! I hope he doesn't listen to all my thoughts! "I also know I can block you out when I want" I smirk as we pull forward and arrive at the door "act normal" I mutter before his door is opened by the man, Toby soon runs to my side and opens the door for me. He holds his hand out to help, I take it with a smile climbing out of the car and into the cold air. He places my hand on his arm and begins to lead me into the huge mansion, the next part I was hoping would go smoothly. The man that was checking the girls necks, looks up from his clipboard. "Name sir?" He asks Toby before looking back down at the clipboard in his hands, rude much! "Alpha Toby Mathews" Toby replies with a slight chuckle, why was he chuckling? He must have heard my comment about the rude man! "Yep you're on the list, I need to get close to her to check for her mark" he says asking Toby for permission to get close to me, shouldn't he be asking me for permission, stupid man! Toby nods his head as the guy gets rather close, he looks at my neck for a second before nodding allowing us to walk through. I send him a little fake smile before we start our journey fully in the mansion, here is when the real fun starts.
