Final Chapter

We pull into the alliance with Richard in the back, we didn't even have to stop at the gate as it was already open. The guard at the door sends me a clap as I drove in, I guess the news of us finally catching Richard has got out. Lukas was sat beside me in the same blindfold, but the smile could still be seen on his face. "I can hear everyone's so happy that you've caught him" he smiles as I round the corner to our section, everyone still clapping as we went by. "We caught him, I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help" I smile pulling the car up in the parking space, I get out the car thanking the people that would congratulate me as I went by. I open Richards door unclipping his seatbelt, he hadn't said a word since I placed him in the back. But he follows where I pull him to also get out the car, I than go around and help Lukas to get out of the car and lead them both into the building. Once we were inside, Lukas was able to take the blindfold off and lead the way for me and Richard. I don't think it's really sunk in that I've caught him, I suspect when I'm back with the team is when it's gonna come down on me. The main room soon comes into view where a smile forms on my lips, when I went through this door last time I didn't know what the future was gonna hold, but look at me now, we've finally caught him! Lukas scans his keycard opening up the door, I follow in behind him pulling Richard in with me. Once I walk in, I see all the smiling faces of my team, Toby and the director standing there. We come to a stop where I pull the bag off of Richards head, he squints for a second adjusting to the bright lights. "Oh look at this, the team that's been trying to hunt me down all these years, I'm glad I kept you on your toes" he smirks looking around at everyone as he spoke "but it took my two children working together to finally get me, like I planned" he smiles over at me and Lukas who both roll our eyes, hasn't he got bored of saying the same thing over and over again yet?! "Richard, there's been two directors before me who have tried hunting you down, I'm glad I was here to witness it first hand" the director smiles while I stand to attention slightly, she smiles telling me I could stand down while turning back to Richard "there is only one thing I can thank you for, the most incredible agent this alliance has seen" she smiles looking back over at me again, I send her a little smile before turning my attention to the floor. "You really thought you were untouchable didn't you? Me and my team weren't gonna stop until you were put away" Morgan says crossing his arms as he went, Richard than turns to look at him studying his face. "Morgan Dufner, the mate of Amelia Dufner. I didn't want to do to her what I did, but she knew too much" Richard shrugs like killing Morgan's mate wasn't a big deal, Morgan growls slightly but takes a deep breath in to calm himself down. "It's time for you to go to your new home" the director smiles moving aside, where Cooper and another agent walk over rounding him up and walking away. "Can I just say it was a pleasure being hunted by all of you" Richard smiles as he's pulled out the door and away, once the door closed the whole room just erupted in cheers. "You did it! You've finally caught Richard!" Brandon smiles hoping the table and bear hugging me, I just laugh holding him back as Julian joins the hug. "We caught Richard" I correct them giving everyone the biggest hug, now I think it's starting to sink in what we just did. "Yes this is the biggest and most anticipated captures, I knew my best team here would be able to handle finding him" the director smiles as we pull away, for a second I forgot she was standing there "I need a quick word with Toby and Lukas" she says looking over at them before walking towards the door, this is probably the time they're gonna be sent home, hold feelings back Taylor! The guys follow the director out which left just the team in the room, Morgan walks over and shockingly pulls us in for another group hug. We all just laugh before I remember something, I pull away running over to my draw pulling the documents out. "I wanted to wait until all of this was over so you could really make a decision" I say towards Morgan who gave me a confused look, he had no idea I was planning this "well we all keep saying about my dad being Travis who is such a horrible man, but no one speaks about who my dad actually is, he's this incredible selfless man who really cares about anyone who he comes in contact with. The man who has stuck by me through everything and even when I've messed up, has never got mad but understands fully, that man is you Morgan" I smile looking up at him as I spoke, he sends me a huge smile back but I wasn't finished. "The other week I spoke with the director to see if she could help me and thankfully, she has contacts everywhere and managed to get me the forms that I needed" I smile hoping he was catching onto what I'm saying, but I'm just met with his confused looks "I want people when they look me up to see who my real dad is, even though we don't need recognition from anyone I wanted it to be official, will you adopt me?" I ask turning around the adoption papers, he looks utterly shocked but soon the tears start to build up in his eyes. "Of course I will" he says walking over and wrapping me in a huge hug, where both of us end up crying holding each other. Once he pulls away I hand him the papers, his pen already vent in his hand where he leans down and signs the document making it official. Brandon and Julian begin to cheer and clap behind us as the door opens again. In walks the guys and the director who were all smiling, oh no here it comes when the boys were being sent home. "I see Miss Westlake gave you the papers to sign, or Miss Dufner" she smiles looking between me and Morgan, he was still crying wiping the tears from his eyes "now there is one more thing I need to talk about, I think we're all aware of the two people who are mates in this room" she says where my eyes immediately go to Toby, who was already looking over at me smiling. "We all know what happens when an agent finds their mate, they either mate and don't see each other for ages, leave or reject them and I can just tell by the way you two look at each other, two of them aren't going to be an option" she says my eyes still not leaving Toby, this was either when she tells me I have to leave the alliance or never see Toby again "but I won't and can't loose my best agent, so Toby came to me the night of your party and came up with a plan" she tells me which was totally new news for me, is that where he went when he left for the bathroom?! "Many years ago when the alliance first started, they created tunnels going from the alliance to each and every pack around here, that included Toby's pack" she tells me which once again I didn't know this, I thought I knew everything about the alliance "we had to close them soon after as the pack members kept breaking into the tunnels and infiltrating the alliance, where they have sat empty since. Toby came up with the idea that if his pack members went in and restored the tunnel so it was safe to go through, maybe you could stay at the alliance. I couldn't have agreed more" she smiles looking over at me, I had to force the tears that wanted to built up in my eyes from building up "you can go and live with Toby at your pack and travel through the tunnel to the alliance everyday for work" she smiles which was something I so needed to hear but didn't know if it was possible. "Thank you so much director and Toby" I smile looking over to him, where he sends me a wink. ""You're such a great agent that we couldn't loose you, that's why we're offering you the chance to have your own team" she smiles which does make me nearly fall over, I'm being offered my own team! This is like a dream come true! But then I turn to look at Morgan and the guys. "Even though I really appreciate the offer, I think I've already found my team" I smile turning to look at the guys, Brandon smiles back at me while Julian was wiping away tears. "I knew you were going to say that but I had to ask, I'll leave you all to celebrate your victory" she smiles before turning on her heels and walking out the door, Brandon was again walks over and wraps me in the biggest hug. "The director is right, let's celebrate!" Morgan cheers which takes us all by surprise, I didn't expect him to react like that! Lukas, Brandon and Julian follow him out of the door, while I make my way over to Toby. He wraps his arm around me placing a kiss on my head, I thank him holding him so tightly. "It's me that needs to thank you, I wasn't going to let you leave me or leave the job you love" he smiles as we begin to make our way towards the door, you could hear everyone outside cheering as we got closer. "You know I get asked a lot what my favourite case was, before this I would have probably said Richards" I say as we stop just outside the main door "but after all this, I think I'm gonna have to say, The Case Of The Alpha" I smile looking up at him, he shakes his head with a smile before leading me out to party with everyone else.
