Chapter Fifty

My family were carted away kicking and screaming, mostly rude comments sent my way. I would just smile and wave them goodbye, like anything a criminal says towards me is gonna affect my day in anyway. The only people in my family who were still sat in what was left of the hedge, was my father and his brother Dominic, they weren't going down without a fight but they were definitely getting one back. Stood by the patio doors of the mansion were, the Director, Morgan and Toby. All of them looking my way, isn't great when you know people are talking about you but you have no idea what is being said. I finish my conversation with Brandon before making my way over to where all of them stood. "Well this has been an explosive party, but I wouldn't expect anything less from you Miss Westlake" the director smiles as I bow my head a little in respect, I'm glad she wasn't mad about the whole secret operation we had going on right under her nose thing "the way you handled yourself even when it involved ones you're related to, it's just a sentiment of what a great agent you really are and why you deserve the award you received" she smiles paying me even more compliments, I as always have no clue how to react but to smile. "You know what you are, you're a bitch! You aren't the same Taylor that we knew all those years ago!"Dominic shouts as he begins to get dragged away by two agents, I just smile turning around to see him struggling against the men. "That's what I kept telling you, but none of you would listen" I sigh shaking my head slightly, this results in him getting even more ticked off which makes me laugh "maybe you'll listen when I tell you, you won't be enjoying your experience at the alliance, we better hide you from yelp" I smile which causes a few agents to chuckle, even the Director snickers slightly. Before Dominic could make another comment, he is whisked away by the two agents who were roughly throwing him around. That's the thing with this agency, as what we do is very dangerous we have each other's back. That causes us all to be protective over one another, if someone bad mouths one of us they technically do it to us all and we don't take too kindly to that. "After this eventful night I think it's best we all get some rest, I know your team are going to be up bright and early to investigate, so let's have you at your best" the director smiles towards Morgan before walking away with her guards, Morgan shouts for Brandon and Julian to head to the car. "I'll drive with those two and Cooper, Taylor you take these two" he smiles pointing at Lukas and Toby, I just nod my head but notice Morgan sending Toby a smile before walking off, well that was weird. "We're gonna be making a quick stop on the way" Toby says from behind me, I turn my head giving him the weirdest of weird looks "before you ask, yes Morgan knows about this little stop" he tells me as I hear my name being called, Cooper throws the keys for the car over to me but before I could catch them, Toby had them dangling from his hand "oh and I'm driving" he smiles before placing my hand on his arm pulling me towards the mansion, Lukas trailing behind us as usually. The mansion was much emptier as it was before the drama with my family happened, the agents were either dealing with my family or the director told them to leave. This meant we could just walk straight across the ballroom to the exit, hardly having to move slightly for others to move by. As we reach outside, the trucks holding my family quickly speed out of the car park and away, I bet they didn't expect that is how their night would be ending, we're just full of surprises here. "Can you stop blocking me out, I understand why you did at first but now you've caught them, I like to know what's going around that head of yours when you space out" Toby whines from beside me as we make our way over to the car, I just laugh slightly removing the block I had up, now I gotta watch what I think. He looks over at me sending me smirk, while the orange lights of the car unlocking get my attention. We were going to be driving in the car Morgan drove up here in, wait is that way he took the separate car! Toby nods his head confirming while opening my door for me, wow they really planned this ahead of time. We were soon driving out of the carpark and towards our little stop, which I still had no idea was. We drive for around an hour, neither of the guys would answer any of my questions. They told me I had to wait until we got there, but I didn't know how much longer this car ride was gonna be, I was dying to know where we were going! Lukas was just rambling on in the back about everything, I actually haven't saw much of him recently due to all the drama, but it's nice to see he's still his chatty self. We turn down a familiar road and sign, this does tell me where we were going but also confuses me on why we're going there. "Why are we heading towards your pack?" I ask turning to Toby, who was just smiling from ear to ear as we pull over. "Our pack and you're gonna have to wait and see" he smiles getting out of the car, before I knew it he was opening my door but held a blindfold up with a smirk "but you're gonna need to wear this" he smiles Lukas getting out of the car with a laugh, not gonna lie I was starting to get nervous. I climb out of the car while Toby carefully places the blindfold to my eyes, oh how weird it feels that the roles are reversed and now I'm the one wearing this. "I told you this was going to happen at some point" Toby's voice fills my head, I couldn't see his face due to the blindfold but I just knew he was smirking. I feel him place one of his hands around my waist while the other took my hand, I trusted that he wouldn't walk me into a tree or anything but I still was very much scared. We end up walking for a few minutes, Toby would tell me to step over a log and reassure me we were nearly there. "Okay, stop right here" he tells me after a few minutes of continued walking, finally we might be here "ready" he smiles before taking the blindfold from my eyes. "Surprise!" The whole pack in front of me cheers, I nearly jump from surprise staring at all of them with my mouth open. All of the pack members were stood in front of me smiling, behind them along the front of the pack house was a banner that read. "Congratulations Luna!" "I told the pack members about you winning your medal, they all wanted to help you celebrate and put this all together" Toby explains finally telling me what this all was about, an aww nearly escapes my lips as I look around at them. Before I could speak, a bunch of little kids run over holding balloons and the little girl from before called Ashley, held what looked like a card. "We made this for you Luna, it's a thank you card for being the greatest Luna ever for saving my brother and a well done card, for winning you medal" she smiles handing me the huge card, all this was so sweet. "Thank you so much, this is really nice" I smile down at all the little kids, who without warning run over at hug my legs "you guys are gonna make me cry" I say knelling down a little to give them a proper hug, they all hold me so tightly before running off. "The pack members wanted to show you how happy they were to have you, the party was my idea" Lukas smiles from behind me, I stand up straight giving him a side hug as a thank you "I've been confined to a building for months, let's party" he cheers before shifting and running around, it's the first time he's been able to shift since the alliance, again you can't shift into your wolves when you're there, to stop any prisoners from being able to over power a human agent such as myself, but I'd still give them a good figure anyway. Everybody cheers as music begins to play, I couldn't help but well up slightly when they turned away. Toby smiles over at me placing a kiss on my head as he went, this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. "Now you're Luna, events like this is always gonna be happening for you" he smiles reading my thoughts as he went, he takes the card from me placing it on the table before taking both my arms "now we weren't able to dance back at the boring alliance party, but we run things here" he smiles pulling me over to the dance floor, where a bunch of other couples were dancing. I just smile allowing him to pull me into the middle of the floor, he twirls me around a few times before pulling me back into him. We slow dance just staring at each other, you know I think I'm gonna like it here.
