It felt so great and I almost burst into laughter when Royce pleaded with me as if his life depended on it. For all it takes, I should personally do a thank you to Danni for presenting me an opportunity to make Royce trust me better. If Danni hadn't pushed Royce too much, he would still harbor some form of suspicion to me. But with what Danni did and how I made him apologize to Royce,Royce has cancelled all of his Suspicions towards me. And the part where I told him that I was no longer interested? I was merely bluffing but he took it to heart and begged me. It's funny how he couldn't even recognise me at all, not from the way I speak or probably from the way I carry myself. Well, I wouldn't blame him, Percy did a good job creating my identity perfectly. 'Of course, I should get the award," I replied. 'You need to see how much action and energy I put into it. Not even a ghost would dare to think I was lying. I guess I have Danni de Black to thank for that." I said. 'You seem to be enjoying this?" Christian asked with a raised bowl. 'Of course I am. For the past three years, all I did was plan and strategize about what way would be best to go about this. I've dreamt about this for a long time, I need to live in it so when I finally get all of this done, I'd bask in the glory. He shattered my heart into pieces years back when all I did was love him and gave him all of myself. I enjoy the fact that I now have him wrapped around my fingers. Don't be surprised that he has began to worship the ground I walk on" I said 'But I still think you are living too deeply in this shambles. Yes , I know you want revenge and more than anyone, I want you to deal with him in the most perfect ways. The fact that he cheated on you with your blood and tossed you out like some insignificant coin makes my blood boil too" 'But?" I said because I could sense what exactly was coming after it. 'You need to take caution. Don't be too sure about him. You've talked about how cunny Britney is. If she finds out that her husband is too hung up on you, she might start to dig where she shouldn't." 'And that's where you come in isn't it? You are supposed to make her find nothing no matter how hard she tries. I know you've hacked into both of their phones and all the CCTV in their house. Whatever they are planning, I'll always be a step ahead of her." I boasted. 'True, you are right about that," he said in surrender. 'You know what's even funnier in all of this? Royce sees me like his saviour and Messiah. Someone who'll always have his back. Someone he can talk to about anything. The contract I got for him sure did a lot to his brain. But I won't stop here, I'll keep giving him everything he wants, keep pushing and sending all of his wishes to him, till he feels completely safe with me and then, I'll remove myself from everything and watch him crumble." As the day goes to an end, Christian excuses himself and leaves me alone again, thinking about life generally. I stood in my penthouse, sipping from the glass of juice I had poured myself earlier but unable to drink because I was discussing with Christian. The trill sounds of my phone brought me back from my thoughts. 'Percy," I said as soon as I picked his call. 'Here I thought you didn't want to speak with me, " I said, smiling. The Truth of the matter is that I've come to see Percy as my saviour. Although, we both have the same agenda, which is to get Royce to hit rock bottom. But then, he made me feel safe, he's exactly like a brother to me and made me feel at home. It wasn't easy at the beginning but I later had to see him for who he was. All he wants is to get his company from Royce. 'You wouldn't need my distractions, that's why I haven't been calling. Plus, I've been seeing you on TV. You are setting everything in place. So, how's everything coming along?" He asked. 'Exactly like I thought, if not better even. For now, Royce is where we want him to be. I've completely earned his trust. Christian too has been supportive, getting me everything I wanted." I said 'That sounds good. I knew you could get it done. Don't forget to take things steady. Don't strike just yet else things might get too bad" he cautioned 'Of course, I'm aware that I need to be more vigilant and calm." 'I'm glad we are on the same page. So, Christian and I got our hands on the list of things Royce would need to get started on his contract. We've slotted in the name of your father's company as one of the best companies to get him what he needed. Be rest assured that he'll get across to you in a few days time." 'Hmmm, that's a good way to get to see him all the time." I reasoned. 'I have to mention that you shouldn't slip. Don't forget what he did to you and why you are doing this. I'm saying this because he used to be someone you love. Don't let that cloud your judgement and get this done." He advised. 'Nothing can cloud my judgement, that love ship sank years ago. It has no effect on me and would never do. Trust me on this Percy. I won't disappoint you." I said reassuringly. 'I knew I could count on your determination. Keep up this unyielding spirit and all this will be over soon." He said 'Thank you Percy, for everything" I said and ended the call
