Chapter 64 Using Danni I shook my head in anxiety as I thought of the possible things that could be making Myra run late. It was past her arrival time and yet she was nowhere to be found. I clenched my teeth in anger,as I thought of better ways to make her pay. She knows better to not fall back on her promises. Her secret is in my hand and she won't want that to get out. I looked around and wondered while she picked the Riverbank as our meeting place. I get that she wants to keep things cool but the place looked too eerie for my liking. I shouldn't be surprised anyway, it's like her modus operandi. She behaves as if she had nothing to lose and makes decisions as she likes. From the side mirror, I saw a car pulled in beside me. I wind down the mirror just as she pulls her down too. 'Come on in," she said. I opened my door and got out, checking the area for security reasons,I opened the car and stepped in. She was dressed casually, in a sweatshirt and had a face cap, housing her hair. Her face was bare of makeup and she had nerdy glasses on her face, probably to disguise. 'Myra," I said as soon as my bottocks touched the crispy leather chair. The entire car was chilly from the air conditioner blasting from the front of the car. 'You took too long to show up. I hope you aren't thinking of going back on your words?" I asked 'You know me too well than to think that of me. I know what I promised you and I'm not going to back down on it, in as much as you won't be going back on your words too. You do know that there'll be consequences if you do that right?" She asked with a smile 'Is that a threat? I asked tensely 'Oh yes. It's a threat. You have something about me that I'd love to keep as secret and I have something you definitely want too. I've said this before but we both can help each other only if you keep your side of the deal." She said firmly. 'I'm a business man with integrity, I don't do that ," I said even though I knew I was merely saying that. If I get a better offer, I'm definitely selling that info to the highest bidder. 'Now, quit the parable and fulfil the promises you made. You promise to link me up with Jayden. Where's he by the way I said with impatience." 'Patience is virtue isn't it?" She said calmly. She cleared her throat. 'Jayden?" She called. For the first time I realised that we had had company since I entered, just that I didn't notice. 'Do I get paid for this?" He asked, not particularly to anyone but Myra answered before I could say anything. Hearing his thick Baritone voice sent shivers to my spine. Jayden is an individual who doesn't show up on your doorstep everyday and I was more than surprised that I was in his presence. For a while now, only Royce sees and uses him. For him to be wrapped around Myra's finger's now, explains the fact that Myra is no ordinary person. 'I'll settle you, Jayden,relax," came her voice. Jayden grunted and slowly passed a suitcase to the back. Myra collected it, Jayden told her the lock combination and she opened it. I sucked in a breath as I saw the contents of the suitcase. While I watched the sets of drugs in it with awe, Myra's face said the other because she looked irritated to even want to touch it. She pushed the case to me and I took it with enthusiasm. I checked the bail on the drugs in it, thinking about the amount of money I was going to make from it. Myra took her phone out and pressed it for a while. 'Seen," came the voice of Jayden before he opened the door and got out of the car. 'I promised to get you a deal and now I have, I hope you realise that I don't lie now." She said 'Yes, I'm more than surprised and you paid him for this?" I said, drumming lightly on the case. 'It must have cost you a lot. Instead of being the middle person between us, why don't you let me deal with him from now on?" I said. I know I was pushing too hard,she only promised a deal. Telling her to remove herself from the equation was too much 'I could do that if you promise to help me with one little thing," she said and my heart raced. I didn't expect that she'll accept but was doing the exact opposite of what I assumed. 'I need you to marry me," she revealed and I froze. 'What…why?" I queried in disbelief. She had said she wanted something small,I never thought she'd come up with something like. 'I can't,I won't do something like that. You promised me a deal with Jayden, that's the only thing I want," I said already motioning to open the door because the car felt too stuffy 'Even if it means giving you Royce's position?" She asked and that made me stop from opening the door. 'I understand that this sounds stupid and that it is sudden. I also know that you have a wife and even though you have a lot of baby mamas, you still love Selena. That is why I don't mind talking this through with you and Selena. This isn't going to be a real wedding,I just need it to get back at Royce." She said. 'Why? Months ago you were talking in favour of him. What changed? Why do you need to get back at him?" I asked because it certainly made no sense at all. 'Let's just say he did a lot to me years back and right now, I've begun to get my revenge on him. And you have a lot to gain from this with the overall being that you take his place when he goes down." I raked my hands through my hair as she talked. The deal was a tricky one and I certainly won't be going home empty handed. Not only will I get to deal with Jayden solely,but I'll also be able to leave the shadows of Royce. 'You don't have to give me an answer right away. Think about it and get back to me but trust me when I say you don't want to miss out on this deal." With that been said, I nodded and got out of the car
