He whispered, pulling her close abruptly, holding her waist, earning Aw from all the girl while she shyly put her hand filled with Henna on his chest,
"E-Emraz what are you doing?"
"Keeping what's mine close." He smirked, moving her to his side but not leaving her waist, "Right near my heart." He whispered in her ears, giving butterflies to her stomach with his enticing tone, "Now, come on, smile unless you want me to tickle you." He finally returned his adorable smile, turning to the photographer. "Hey, shut it."
"I am certainly not. Every passing moment is pulling me close to you, how can I neglect it?" He smiled, making her giggle by his candied words inducing inexplicable rejoice in her heart.
Just from afar, a certain azure-eyed guy glared at both of them, fisting his hand, infuriated beyond words, clenching and unclenching his hands continuously to ease his mind until a voice interrupted the loop of destruction, "Does it hurt, Rayan? Watching her being not someone else but the wife of your brother?"
With a grimace, he turned to Sateesha, smiling mockingly at him, "What are you doing here, Eshu?"
"Someone is still trying to patch our worthless relationship." She giggled, pointing at Zain who was too lost in helping his Sister out, he sighed and looked away, "Leave us, tell me how it feels to find her this close to your Brother?" She laughed quietly, testing his patience. "Enough, Sateesha."
"Have you ever wondered why Emraz is there but not you?" She taunted, turning to look at him with a wicked smirk, "You knew if your friendship with Zain broke apart, you would lose your chance to stay in touch with Isra... Only if she notices you but how will you convince her heart which rejected you?" She spoke the words he had buried in his heart and would never face those miserable darkness inside, eating him up.
"Shut up." He hissed, rolling his eyes.
"You needed her, even from afar because to possess her from near-'' She paused, moving and whispering in his ears seductively, "Is beyond your capabilities." This was the limit of his forbearance he could take to hear her spine-chilling words. He grabbed her arm and lead them away from other and scowled at her face,
"What are you trying to say, huh?"
"I am just speaking of a memory you don't want to remember." She smirked, "Listen, it's nothing like this-"
"Oh, then care to explain this fire of envy in your eyes? Why are you dying when she is about to become someone else's?" She hissed, fed up by his constant cowardice, narrowing her eyes in irk by his lack of ability to take risks.
"You know what? I don't want to spoil my mood by talking with you" He scoffed, leaving her arm and moving away.
"Fine then, let it burn you and evoke realization when she will no longer be yours." She jeered, pointing her index finger in contempt at him while he just walked away but then stopped,
"Sateesha..." He called her dolorously, sensing the fetters changing his heart in abyss, "She was never mine." He said sadly.
"Are you sure?" She asked but he ignored her and walked back to the garden and joined everyone.
"Ah. There you are Rayan, come man." Zain came and began to drag him.
"Where?" He asked. "Our dance man, the one we prepared secretly."
"Oh, that one." He hummed, looking down, "Yeah, we can't miss it, do we?" Zain smirked, patting his back. He also looked down and took a deep breath and grinned, "Exactly. Let's go." He beamed as both of them danced, a special dance for both sides by the two of them. Blithe filled up the ambience at this performance. The couple smiled radiantly, clapping at their brother's dance.
They both earned praising from everyone, laughed a little, "That was amazing Bhai.. you too, Sir." Hoorain smiled shyly, "Thanks." Zain panted. "You two rocked." Amir and Rehman came. Rayan chuckled and looked up and saw Isra and Emraz were taking a round, greeting their guest, talking to them.
Certainly, not wanting to greet the couple, he moved away, "Where are you going?" Zain asked.
"I'll be back." He waved and walked inside, back to his room. Splashing water on his face, he walked out, sighing deeply, putting the towel back and walked out but stopped when he saw his reflection in the mirror. His condition was ignorant to everyone, killing him from inside, the moistness of his eyes away from everyone hidden in his eyes. No one knows what he was going through.
Lowering his gaze, ravaged he didn't know what to say, his lips began to quiver with tears brimming in his eyes. Without a warning, He picked the vase and threw it away as it hit the wall and broke into countless pieces like his heart. "Why could she notice anyone's love but not mine?!" He yelled, releasing a tear from his eye, thrashing his room, throwing things, growling, "Why did my pain never have any effect on her!?" He shouted, on the verge of crying but the tears rolling down his eyes were clear and the condition of his room crystallized his stolen dreams, those irremovable scars. Messing up his room, he could feel his hands trembling along with the wet liquid reminding on his cheeks, his shore was stolen and the sharp mirror he cherished did nothing but to hurt his soul.
