32- Deadly
Past
"I am here... I was always here... You just never noticed."
He smiled, circling her knuckles, whispering sweetly as they remained like this, hoping the feelings of his heart would reach hers.
"How could you do this?" She whispered, wiping her tears, pulling away and looking up at him sadly.
"Do what?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Doesn't it hurt?" She asked again.
"It's okay, my feelings never mattered before yours." He whispered, tugging a strand of her hairs behind her ear.
"Why? Why do you come back to me knowing I don't feel the same?" She asked, lowering her head in dolor, trying to find the right words.
"Once again, you mean the world to me, no matter where I am, I will rush to you." He whispered, a pure smile adorning his features.
"Even if I don't call you?" She asked innocently.
"Even if you don't call me." He whispered, poking her nose sweetly.
She looked down, biting her lips, feeling sad for neglecting his love, his keen feelings towards her.
"It's okay, you don't have to force yourself to think about it. But know..." He paused, staring intensely into her eyes, speaking sincerely.
"My feelings for you are perennial."
She didn't say anything and put her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes, submerging the protectiveness he managed to induce in her, bringing an unknown smile to her lips.
After this incident, Isra and Rayan's bond grew drastically, she began to indulge in his presence, talking to him all the time, loving his company.
Bringing him the utmost joy simply by spending time with him, making his whole day with a single smile.
Time for Rayan's final semester came, so is Isra's exams, but, before they could dedicate their whole mind towards studying, Rayan wanted to spend a beautiful time with her to remember this in his core and take it as a farewell gift.
Isra was in her hostel's room, studying until she received a call from Rayan, "Hey. How are you?" He asked.
"Exhausted. I have been studying non-stop. Argh, I am beat." She whined over the phone, stretching her arms, pouting.
"Well, I have a solution for you." He chuckled hearing her groan, "What?"
"Look out." He smirked.
"Why?" She asked, narrowing her eyes in suspicion.
"Just do it." He chuckled again and sighing, she got up and removed the curtains only to find Rayan standing outside her apartment, earning a gasp of astonishment from her.
"What are you doing out there? What if someone sees you?!" She whisper-yelled, sighing in relief to be alone in the room.
"Come out." he demanded.
"You know I can't." She told him.
"Then I will come in." He smirked teasingly, walking inside.
"What? Why?" She tried to ask but he cut the call and popped right into her room.
"What the hell are you doing here?! What if someone sees you? Why are you trying to find trouble?"
She scolded him, worried someone might not see them as boys were not allowed in her hostel and this would get her in trouble to get caught with one.
But without thinking twice, he grabbed her wrist, taking her away with him, leading her to the rooftop.
"Why are we here?" She asked but he grinned, pointing at the sky filled with beautiful stars adorning the sky with explicit twinkles.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" He whispered which brought a smile to her lips.
"It sure is but you came all the way to show this?" She asked, glancing at him.
"I know we both won't be able to see each other often, that's why I want to share this beautiful moment with you, live this with you." He whispered with pure and in-depth emotions, staring deep into her eyes.
"How can you talk so purely?" She whispered, turning to him.
"You make me." He replied, touching the side of her face tenderly as she was drowned in his gaze under this crepuscular sight, his eyes traveled down to her luscious lips, licking in nervousness.
"You're prettier than tonight." He whispered, proceeding further, loving his fingers when they are latched to her skin, proceeding down until his lips brushed against hers.
Her breath hitched, holding his shirt, closing her eyes. He was hesitant at first but when she didn't push him away he moved further, pressing his lips upon hers, moving in rhythm tenderly, loving each sensation of it.
Wallowing in the moment without thinking twice as they smiled under the moonlight, kissing each other with wholehearted passion and tenderness.
After sharing a loving kiss, they pulled away, chuckling a little.
"I.. truly didn't expect this." He breathed out shyly, looking down.
"I did." She said, not removing her eyes, shocking him for a second.
"You love me beyond all odds anyways." She whispered, taking a step closer.
"Isra...?"
He called her not understanding what happened to her- he didn't want to and Isra began to believe no one in this world could love her as much as he does, she should give him a chance as she has begun to treasure his presence.
"Meet me at the park tomorrow." She whispered, kissing his cheek and going back to her room before anyone could see them together, leaving him flabbergasted and explicitly delighted about what happened.
But this beautiful morning never came.
The next day, Rayan got ready to leave and meet Isra, his heart pounding out of his chest, bringing an everlasting smile to his lips.
Increasing his heartbeats to fathom the fortune he was one step closer to gain.
In her usual long frock, setting her gold nose ring and earrings, Isra stared at her reflection for the final time before leaving.
She reached the park early, waiting for Rayan, checking her makeup time to time, collecting the words she has prepared, chuckling to herself until a voice called her from behind.
"You sure are exhilarated for someone who is deceiving you."
She turned and saw Edgar scoffing at her.
"What the hell do you want?" She growled, not paying heed to this cheater.
"He revealed my truth, why don't I do the same?" He smirked, coming closer.
"What do you mean?" She asked hesitantly.
"I mean, you know I cheated but do you know who initiated this?" He asked.
"I don't care." She scoffed.
"Girl, tell her."
Edger demanded as the girl with whom he cheated on her came, telling Isra she was offered by Rayan to start an affair with Edgar.
"He said he will give me opportunities to get closer to Edger, I truly liked him so I went along with his idea. He means a lot to me and I did whatever he told me."
Isra was taken aback, not believing Rayan did this.
"This... can't be." She managed to whisper weakly.
"Know the person you are planning to be with is a dangerous man who breaks immoral extents for you." He said, taking a step closer. Her breath hitched in fright, holding her dress.
"This can't be true." She said, tears springing in her eyes.
"He can't do this." She said.
"Then ask him yourself, you have no idea what that crazy bastard could do for you." He whispered, scaring her.
"Get lost." She whispered, trying to control her senses but failed.
"Here's a demo."
He smirked, grabbing her wrist without a warning pulling her closer roughly as she yelped in pain and when Rayan came and saw this, he lost his mind.
"How dare you!" Rayan snarled, grabbing Edgar's throat, pushing him away, Isra gasped in disbelief after seeing the ferocious fire in his eyes.
"Rayan." She called him but he lost his senses.
"How dare you hurt her!?" He growled, punching and pushing him on the ground.
"Stop, Rayan!" She called, hoping someone might not see.
Thankfully they are in the corner, away from anyone as she tried to push him off with tears brimming in her eyes,
"How dare you touch her!" He yelled, punching him continuously, his whole face was bloody, hitting him like an animal, horrifying Isra by his violence.
"He didn't do anything, Rayan.. please..." She whispered, hugging him from behind. He cursed under his breath, beating him to the extent of breaking his bones and this traumatized her.
"Are you crazy!? Get away!"
The girl called again but his mind was lost.
"I wanted to end our bond, Rayan." She blurted out, shaking him badly, falling on her knees, crying badly, petrified after seeing his extremity.
"What...?" He paused, tears nearing his eyes, looking up at her.
"I was afraid of you... of your love... I can't give you a chance... I wanted to ask you to leave my path, To stop it... to leave me forever... I can't face you, your feelings terrifies me. I can't do it."
She sobbed badly, not lifting her head, not caring about anything, simply scared of the animal before her.
"Then.. last.. night.."
He tried to make his words weak but she cried.
"It was a farewell gift. I can't continue with you, can't we be strangers again? I can't do this."
She sobbed, pulling her hairs and he was heartbroken, trying to find words but couldn't, shattered, fallen from his dreams.
"Isra... Please.." He tried to beg but she put her hand in between.
"Please leave me, I don't want to see you again, you never meant anything to me that's why please leave my life, Rayan Ahmed. I cannot love you, I cannot love an obsessive animal, I can't." She whispered, joining her hands before him to leave, even if her heart pinched to say this she did, she cannot handle a wild know, he cannot bear his love.
He stared at her in dejection for a long time, releasing a tear of anguish before getting up and leaving ravaged by his feelings, by his love.
After he left, Isra grasped her scattering emotions, the broken heart which felt ashamed for saying these horrible things to Rayan but his love was too much for to handle, she cannot confront his feral desire.
Wiping her tears, she took Edgar to the hospital, barely managing to save him and begging him to not file a complaint against her.
"I told you.. he is.. dangerous." He said, laying on the hospital bed.
"Please don't file a complaint against him, I will do anything you say but don't do this, it will ruin his career." She whispered, begging him.
"Why.. Do you care?"
"Please.." She couldn't speak further. She lost the privilege to say it after breaking his heart.
"I.. won't." He said, closing his eyes as she sighed in relief but after this incident she swore to never give Rayan a chance as his feelings are fatal and it's not in her capabilities to control them.
After this day, she swore to kill every feeling related to him in her heart as his love could be deadly.
