34.2- Eternal Promise
Hoor chided her parents who were lost in their own world of affection, forgetting everything else, leaving their poor daughter alone with her best friend and taking pictures.
'She is the bride, all attention is for her." Rehman shrugged.
'You guys won't let me anyways." Rehman pouted, looking away.
'Hoor." Haider called his wife dominantly to stop this childish act.
'Yes?" Her voice softened, stopping instantly and turning to him.
'Do this later, everyone is waiting outside. Let's go." He called.
'Yes." Nodding, she took his hand.
'You guys also come. Papa, bring Hoorain." Hoor said and left with her husband.
'Good luck." Haziqa winked and left with others.
On the other hand, Zain was pacing around the dressing room, checking his form while Isra was eating chocolate.
'To be honest. I can't believe the man who avoided love is now suddenly marrying." Isra smirked at him but he drank some water to soothe his tension.
'I shouldn't sway along with emotions." He muttered, leaning on the dressing table.
'Why? What happened?" She asked, checking her phone with a smirk where Rayan was constantly texting her to send at least one picture of hers.
No, Love. Wait. ;) She replied.
'I should have extended this engagement for at least two years and not act hastily." He breathed out, the whole idea was messed up in his mind.
'Or at least wait till I become a Station Chef. I just had to say some sweet words and she would agree but no, I had to stop thinking." He cursed under his breath.
Running his hand in his hair out of frustration.
Dress in his white three piece suit jacket with an expensive and traditional brooch at the front pocket, his beard trimmed perfectly, hairs gelled backward.
Looking like a knight in a white armor.
'You know that if Hoorain came to know she would be heartbroken, right?" Isra asked, putting her phone down.
He was ambitious after all and now realizes there was no point in this marriage.
'That is exactly why I am here, dressed as a damn groom." He growled fuming in rage.
'Whatever it is, Zain. She is going to become your wife in a few moments. You cannot think like this." Isra said, infuriated at his words.
'For whom I want to do this in the first place, Isra? It is no longer my own dream, I want to earn, to be promoted all for her sake." He whispered, expressing his fears.
'I don't want Hoorain to think twice before telling people what her husband does." He whispered, biting his lips.
He didn't want to become her embarrassment.
'You are earning 50,000 excluding the bonus and privilege. You know that?" Isra asked, arching her brow in confusion.
'Her Brother made this much money in one day, You know that?" He retorted, folding his arms, scoffing.
'Zain, do realize she only wants you." Isra whispered, taking to convince him.
'I know, Isra. I am here because of her, for her happiness but know my condition." He gulped, lowering his gaze in shame.
'My heart will shatter to know if she ever regretted marrying me." He whispered, confessing his true appeal to her.
'None of this is going to happen. Can't you see how much you are caring for her, how worried you are." She said softly.
She never saw Zain like this, he was always composed and collected, facing an ordeal with a strong front for the first time, he perturbed.
'You can't eat love." Zain breathed out, his stern perspective about it.
'But support can surely encourage you to move forward." She said, giving his hand an assuring squeeze.
'Of course! And I know my boy, he is a charmer, he will support her, he will become the best husband!" Amir came, laughing, hugging his son tightly.
'Of course, people die for my handsome son." Aima grinned, kissing his forehead.
'Of course. I don't even need to advise my son, he knows everything. My pride." Amir said, delighted.
Zain chuckled nervously, swallowing hard and empty his mind and accepting this moment because there is no going back now.
'Now. Let's go." Amir laughed, holding his shoulder as went to the altar and Zain awaited his bride.
God, this is it. He thought when his eyes fell upon his wife entered, looking bewitchingly graceful, walking down with a veil over head enhancing her elegance.
Giving her his hand, he brought her up, staring intensely into her eyes.
'You look like a prince." Hoorain whispered.
He wanted to compliment first but he smirked in return,
'Then consider yourself my Princess." He whispered back, taking her hands in his as the ceremony started and they exchanged their vows.
'Hoorain. I don't know what love is but when I look at you I think of it. I won't lie, things felt meaningless to me at first but." He paused and his eyes sank into her.
Continuing with in-depth emotions, 'But I have no idea when you became the most important person of my life, to the point my dreams are latched to bring you happiness."
Coming closer, he continued, 'And I promise, my every action from now on would be for your content, I will throw the path where you are not present, to devote my breaths to you."
Her heart skipped a beat, face red with tears in disbelief, completing his vows, pricking a tear in the corner of his eyes.
'To live for you from this moment onwards."
Smiling, she lowered her gaze, shyly, speaking her vows.
'Zain, I promise to stay with you under all circumstances, no matter how hard our path would get, I will never let go of your hands as you are the longest and deepest desire of my heart."
Giving his hand an affirm squeeze to never leave it.
'And to stand firm on my words, I make an eternal promise, to prove my love, to become a better partner, to be there when the world won't."
