The next day, Rayan went to Isra's home after his work, mentally preparing himself to confess his true feelings and break ways. "Is.. she home?" He asked. "She is in her room." Zain told him. Rayan nodded and went to her room. He knocked and entered. She was sitting on the bed, hugging her knees and sat up straight when he came, giving him a tender feeble smile he failed to notice, looking up at him when he came. He gave her a lily, "I.. grew this for you." He said. She hummed and took the lily. "It's pretty." She mumbled. Rayan looked down nervously and put the divorce papers on the side, bending on the ground, looking up at her, perplexing her by his demeanor. "Isra... I know I have become depraved at one point, driven crazy by love but believe me, I was powerless before my feelings." He began to speak sorrowfully. 'It's not that I wanted to do this but my body moved on its own. I tried so hard to become selfless in love, to pretend it was okay to get hurt and never show.." Anguish began to create a lump in this throat. 'I.. I thought the path of this thirst would end one day but instead it was amplified... The more I tried to forget you the more I found myself loving you more…" He paused, forcing the lump in his throat down. I love you so much..." He began to cry, not daring to look up and see the tears glistening in her eyes, wanting to tell him to stop. It was nothing but an insecurity she couldn't overcome. That she was ready to grasp his love and treasure it finally. "I have lived my whole childhood with your name and now I am going to live the rest of my life with it. If I have to live alone, I will. The moments I spend with you are my salvation, they will become my source to stay alive. I shared smiles with you, I don't desire more." He curled his lips upward, smiling a little between his sob, wiping the tears in his eyes, "It's too difficult to become selfless in love, it requires too much strength to do this.. I guess I never possessed it. To me.. Your separation was like losing my soul... I would die, Isra. I breathe with your name, if you won't be here, I will be an empty vessel." His sound became loud, cracking his heart. Her eyes widened, gasping a little, trying to tell him about the condition of her heart but he continued. "But.. It took me a long time...to realize I can't.. Force you.. It's your life. You have the right to love the person you want. If your happiness is not with me then so be it. I pray for your best. I will vanish like I never existed so you could eradicate all the miserable memories we had…" He smiled, finally raising his tear gleaming face and met hers having the same condition as his but determined enough, he gave her the papers. Isra's heart clenched after hearing his confession, cracking her heart badly beyond repair. Horrified, Isra opened them with her shaky hands. Her breath hitched when she saw the divorce papers, tears flowed from her eyes. Looking at Rayan and then at the papers, repeating it like a loop of devastation not believing Rayan took such a drastic step without asking her consent. Hanging her head low, she began to say in a voice blended with mourn and rage, "You said I was free to choose the person with whom I want to spend my life with and you decided to leave me..." The inaudibility in her voice left him bewildered looking up back at him furiously, she grabbed his collar, breaking into a sob. "What kind of liberation was it, Rayan?! You are only freeing yourself from this love. When I finally stopped running away from the fact that I wasn't afraid of loving you back rather I can't love you as much as you love me," She broke too after a late realization. 'You are going to leave me without even trying?! When I was ready to start our lives anew, to accept your love, how dare you try to leave me!?" She shouted, putting head on his shoulder, crying, soaking his shoulder with her tears. "You... love me?" He asked, not believing what his ears were hearing. "Of course! I was too scared to accept it. I didn't want you to become insane for my love, I didn't want you to get hurt but I failed to realize that's what my love did to you. From rusticating Liza to fighting everyone for my sake, It was you who loved dearly and I was too frightened to accept it…" Taking a halt, she confessed with shame written all over her face. "I was jealous of your love." His eyes widened in appall, not believing she held such a perspective. "I was envious of it.. I couldn't reach the extent of your love and instead of cherishing it, I began to Hate it… I was so stupid.. I am so sorry…" She sobbed, confessing her embarrassment which left her desolated. "I couldn't love you that much but I swear Rayan, now that I have finally realized your importance in my life, I need you as much as you have needed me... No one can love me the way you do... I am sorry it took me a long time but I love you too Rayan... It's nowhere near yours but I do..." She cried, pulling his shirt as he was too shocked to realize what she was saying, considering it a beautiful lie, he let out the tears blurring his vision. Pulling his shirt, she cried on his shoulder and pulled away. "You want an answer, huh? There is it, it's either you or no one else!" She shouted, tearing the divorce papers and throwing them at his face. Before he could react, She grabbed his collar, pressing her lips upon his, kissing him.His heart skipped a beat but he kissed her back instantly this time submerging in the exhilaration where she finally accepted his eternal love. Moving his lips in accordance with hers, he connected his heartbeats with hers in a perfect rhythm, mesmeric feelings filled his whole being as kissed her back passionately. Grabbing her waist, he pulled her up, making both of them fall back on the bed, sharing a kiss of intense feelings, connecting the hearts which were dying to collide finally, accepting the love hidden in one's heart and becoming one. After a profuse kiss of lovely zeal and deliverance of his keen emotions for her, they pulled away, panting heavily. Laughing a little they finally settled down in the city of each other's heart and pressed their foreheads against each other. Rayan cupped her cheek with one hand as she ran her fingers through his locks, never breaking the gaze, confessing, "I love you, Isra..." "I love you too, Rayan…" ~ In the end, all of his actions were the result of the extremity of his love ~
