30.2- Saw Nothing
'Good Night." He smiled sweetly and went to his room, shaking his head in disappointment.
She shrugged, she knew her brother well. Leaving his matter in his hand, she went to her room.
Forgetting about everything else, she fell on the bed, beaming, jumping, squeaking with extreme exhilaration.
'Yes! Yes!" The lost longing of her heart was fulfilled.
She felt on cloud-nine, tangling her heartbeat with the one she loves, ready to accept his hand under all circumstances.
Taking a deep breath, she looked at her reflection in the mirror, grinning, promising to herself.
'Don't you worry. Now you have held my hand, I will never let it go. No matter what."
Falling on the bed, she could barely get any sleep by the content brimming in her chest. The turn of things gave her immense solace.
'Morning!" She grinned, coming down and hugged her parents which shocked them.
'Woah, someone is surely happy." Rehman laughed, patting her head, giving her his blessing.
'Because I am." She grinned, taking a seat.
'I am glad to see you happy." Hania smiled, delighted for her daughter.
'Where is Emraz? He should be here by now?" Rehman asked, checking the time.
He was a punctual man and seeing him late sounds weird to them.
'Oh, Bhai has a girl in his room. I am amazed she didn't scream." She shrugged, taking a bite of her room.
'WHAT!?" The couple almost screamed and she choked on her food, realizing she said the half sentence.
'Not like that." She said instantly, telling them what happened and they sighed in relief.
'I wonder what's between them?" Hania asked, shrugging her shoulders.
'Why?" Hoorain asked.
'Emraz seems to share a very peculiar relationship with her. He even called her fascinating." Rehman said, holding his chin, lost in thinking.
But all of them were surely interested to know his tale.
'He did? But when I asked if she was his girlfriend last night, he was so displeased, he didn't like it at all."
She shrugged, wondering what was up with them.
'They might be just friends." Hania suggested and they nodded in agreement not talking about it anymore.
Emraz entered with Danica who held a highly embarrassed expression on her face.
Flushed madly, not lifting her head and wearing his clothes not to mention.
'Morning." Emraz smiled and motioned Danica to come.
'Come, it's okay." He said reassuringly.
'G-Good morning." She stammered, not lifting her head.
'Hey." Hoorain smiled, waving at her.
'Oh, someone's morning is great." Emraz smiled, giving her head a pat, ruining her hair which made her frown and gesturing to Danica to take a seat.
'Are you okay, Dear? If Emraz had told me before I would have prepared something to help your hangover." Hania said worriedly, sweetly.
'N-No, it's fine. Thank you." She smiled feebly, the blush not escaping her face.
'I guess Hoorain told you guys already." Emraz said, taking a bite of his food.
'Yeah, yeah."
'Wait, where did you sleep then?" Hania asked abruptly.
'On the couch, where else?" He shrugged.
'Her name is Danica Faiz. She is the head of the designing department. She is amazing."
Emraz's tender aura made her heart race.
'Ah, Isra's replacement. I bet she must be spectacular or else why would you choose her?" Hania smiled softly.
Her mom sensors were working watching her thirty years old single son with any woman to immediately perceive her as his partner.
Sadly that was not the case again.
But that doesn't mean Hania will settle down without finding a girl for Emraz!
'Mama." Hoorain called her Mother in a warning tone, instantly recognizing this look.
'Hush." She narrowed her eyes at Hoorain to shut her.
How they remained unaffected, having a lovely family time. This was calming for everyone except her.
'Are you okay?" Rehman asked, noticing Danica's perturbed face.
'I am sorry for the trouble I caused that day." She said without thinking. Regretting it.
'Ah, don't worry about it. It was truly an amusing sight." Rehman laughed.
'But, I said bad things to Sir." She reasoned, biting her lips in nervousness.
"Danica, your spirits were admiring. I respect that." Emraz responded nonchalantly.
'See. Don't mind it." Rehman shrugged.
'Thank you. You are very kind." She murmured inaudibly.
'Don't mention. Eat something, I will drop you home, okay?" He smiled, rising from his seat.
'Where are you going?" She asked, looking up at Emraz, uncertain to stay with his family. It was very awkward for her.
'I am going to get my bag. You eat." He said, assuring her and left to get his thing.
'You are very pretty, you know." Hania continued to smile but there was no denial of it.
She was truly one of a beguiling beauty on desires of espy. But her charms have brought her nothing but troubles so far.
'Thank you."
She hated compliments on her looks but didn't want to sound rude to these nice people and smiled.
Later, she finished her food, Emraz also came as they both left.
'I am leaving as well." Hoorain said, taking her bag to leave.
'Papa, drop me." She said.
'Yeah, yeah. Don't let me stay with you Mother." He sighed, getting up to get his keys.
Hania chuckled at his comment.
'Thirty years isn't enough for you?" She asked, arching a brow in amusement.
'For you, not me." He muttered, taking his keys.
'I am going to tell Zain to teach her how to drive. She only listens to him anyway." He said in a low tone.
'Come on, Rehman. Don't whine. Go." She giggled, patting his back.
'Papa, Come!" She yelled from the hall, checking her watch.
'Go, Our Queen is calling." Hania laughed, ruining his mood as usual, dragging him out of their room without his will as he frowned like a kid but she took him to the hall.
'Let's go." Rehman said, winking at Hania who smirked and Hoorain pretended she saw nothing as they left.
