EPILOGUE

I closed my eyes but I could hear the screams and shouts of the people. I didn't expect this to happen, I thought they would all be quiet when they found out but they didn't. I can feel their love and support. We started walking in the center and I couldn't stop looking around me. Whether male, female or gay they shout my name. I didn't think that there are so many people who support and admire me even though they can't see my appearance. My nervousness suddenly disappeared when I saw the joy and excitement on their faces. "VNM! VNM! VNM!" I smiled when we passed Therese's place. All of them cheer for me except for Sebastian. Last week, I admitted to Britt and Enzo that I am VnM. They weren't surprised because it was obvious from my voice that I was VnM, they were just waiting for me to confess. But in the end, they were both happy and proud of me because of my achievements. Sebastian is the only one I haven't told yet. 'Forgive me, my love.' Brother RJ immediately arranged the instruments to be used when we got to the stage. I'm now facing the mic and looking around me where they are still shouting my name. I looked at Sebastian, his face was full of wonder but I think he knows me. Even if I'm wearing different clothes and even if I'm wearing a mask now, he will still recognize me. I turned to Brother Terrence.. they were ready and Brother RJ had also come down. I let out a deep breath and slowly grabbed the microphone. The surroundings became quiet and almost all of them were looking at me. "Hi everyone.." I started. EVEN IF YOU'RE TAKEN!" I smile widely, I never thought this would happen. It feels good that they accept me. I looked at Sebastian but he was no longer in his place. Where is he? I looked around but I couldn't really see him. I was suddenly nervous. A smile appeared on my lips when I saw him standing in the middle and holding a microphone. My tears started to flow again when he started walking in my direction. I love this man very much and he is the only one I want to be with for the rest of my life. My dream to sing with him on a stage also came true. I can't explain the joy and happiness I feel, now that I'm in front of him and singing along. As we end the song, the surroundings were filled with screams and applause. It got even louder when Sebastian hugged and kissed me unexpectedly. But I just closed my eyes and responded to his kisses. "I love you.." he said which made my heart beat faster. "I love you too," I replied with a smile and he hugged me tightly again. "Am I the only one who was shocked or you too?" Sister Sheene said with a smile. Everyone answered "yes" which made me and Sebastian smile. "Thank you, Vienna for sharing your story and showing us your talent. We will support you no matter what happens." I smiled at what Sister Sheene said. I immediately looked around me and almost all of them were smiling at me. "Before we proceed to the announcement of winners for today's singing competition, there is an important announcement from Mr. Sebastian Martin Angeles," said Sister Sheene which surprised me. "Announcement? What do you want to say?" I asked confused, but he just smiled at me. This guy is really naughty. "I thought about it for two weeks and only now did I have the courage to tell you. After all, you confess it to everyone, I'll confess it too," he said. I looked in Mom's direction, but almost all of them were smiling at me. I feel they know something about it. "I know this is not the right place for me to do this thing, but I want them all to witness what I have to say." The surroundings fell silent and the audience's faces showed surprise because of Sebastian's words. "I love you very much and I will do everything for you. I can't allow you to lose in my life again. I know it's too early for this but I can't wait." "You're the only woman I want to be with forever. You're the one I want to be the mother of my future kids and I want you to be with me until old age." He knelt down in front of me and took out a small box with a ring on it. His tears kept pouring out and at the same time my tears were pouring out. "Vienna Malvar, I love you so much. Will you marry me?" He said while crying. "Yes, I will marry you. I love you too, Sebastian," I replied and hugged him tightly. He put the ring on my finger, a sign of his endless love. I didn't think he would reach this decision but I'm happy.. I'm very happy. I love this man very much and he is the only man I will love forever. "CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLE!!!" *** I was just looking at the dark sky while thinking about the happy things that happened earlier. Until now, I still can't believe that I got engaged to Sebastian Martin Ruiz Angeles. I will soon be Mrs. Angeles. I know it's too early to get married but I'm ready to marry the man I love the most. But the only sad thing is that my beloved father can't take me to the altar. He won't be able to witness Sebastian and me being together but I'm sure he's happy for us. "Love.." I immediately turned around when I heard his voice. I'm here now on the veranda, getting some air and only the moonlight is the light in this room. "You alright?" he asked worriedly. I nodded in response and he immediately came to hug me. "Are you sure?" "Yes love, don't worry about me, I'm fine. How's it going downstairs? Are your friends drunk?" "It's not yet, Love, let them. They only drink whenever there's an occasion, so it's okay for them to get drunk now." There was a celebration here at home, all my loved ones were there including my friends, Sebastian's friends, and his bandmates. They won the battle of the bands and the winner of the solo competition, none other than Tine. I'm happy that he won but the only sad thing is that he didn't go. I understand why but I still hoped that he would come. "What are you thinking? Can you tell me?" "It's Tine, he's the only one who didn't come here. All of my brother's friends are here except for him." "Love, you need to understand him, what Tine went through was too painful. Didn't you tell me that you were his first love?" I nodded in response. "As a man, I can see and feel that Tine loves you very much. But because he loved you so much, he got hurt. "I love you.." He didn't answer, but he gently turned me to him. I closed my eyes when I felt his lips touch my forehead. "I love you too.." He hugged me again, I just leaned against his chest and listened to his heartbeat. "Are you ready to be my wife?" He asked something that made the hairs on my arms stand up. But I couldn't stop smiling and being thrilled by his question. "Are you ready to be my husband?" I asked too which made him laugh. I faced him. His smile was so wide that I couldn't stop myself from pinching his cheek. "Why didn't you answer my question?" I pouted but he just laughed at me. This guy is really annoying. "I am ready to be your husband and I am ready to be the father of our future children. And no matter what happens I will not leave you. I love you so much, Vienna." "I love you too, Sebastian. I'm ready to be your wife and I'm ready to be the mother of our future children. I love you, I love you so much." He claimed my lips again and all I could do was respond to his kisses. "I love you, Vienna..." "I love you too, Sebastian..." I am not a perfect woman but I will do everything for him. I'll always be on his side 'til my last breath.
