Chapter 008

I was walking halfway when a group of women stopped me on my way. There are six of them, and based on their ID, they are 4th-year students and I think they are one of Tine's die-hard fans. "You're Tine's girlfriend, aren't you?" asked the one in the middle. This is probably their leader as if I would be afraid of them all. "Are you Tine's girlfriend? Why don't we see you tailing him every day?" she asked again. "What am I, a dog? That tails him every day, doesn't it look like you?" They all seemed annoyed because of my answer. Even though they are older than me, I don't care. "Don't you even know us? We're older than you, learn to respect," one said angrily but I laughed out of nowhere. I sighed and faced the woman who spoke earlier. "How can I respect you? If you can't respect me either. It's not fair you know that," I replied making the six of them more annoyed. As if one of them wanted to pull my hair. "You know, sisters, it's obvious that you're one of Tine's die-hard fans but my advice is don't act like you're one of his girlfriends. Can you just support him and don't step in about his personal life," I added. "You're too much." The woman in the middle was about to come near me but she stopped. I wondered why, so I turned around to see who she had seen. "All right, pull her hair and you won't like what I'm going to do to you and all of you," Tine said angrily. Suddenly, six women left in front of me. What? They are scared of Tine? "Didn't they do anything to you? Are you okay?" Suddenly the expression on his face changed, replaced by worry. "Why did you come out? I told you that I'll do it," I replied. "And if I don't come out maybe what else can they do to you. I'm sorry, Vienna." "I can fight, come on, I'll take you back to the clinic." But he stopped me and suddenly put his arm around my shoulder. "I don't want to stay there, just help me. Let's go, I know you're hungry." I couldn't response because he had already started walking so I just supported him. We arrived at the cafeteria. I'm thankful because there were only a few people and only a few noticed our presence. I made him sit on a chair at an empty table, I even like his caregiver. Then, I bought our food but I didn't even notice that Britt and Sebastian were there. Is the show over? "Hi, Vienna how is Tine?" Enzo asked. I looked in Sebastian's direction but he was looking somewhere. "He's fine," I replied. I got the food I bought and went in Tine's direction. I also placed the menudo in front of him, steak and two rice and for me, fried chicken and one rice. I also gave him bottled water and coke. He just stared at me as I put the food in front of him. "How much is all this? I'll pay," he said as I sat down. "No need to worry, I've already paid it," I replied. He glared at me, but I gave him a scornful look. The two of us started to eat, but I can't concentrate because Sebastian looked badly at me. I don't know, we haven't even been formally introduced to each other yet but the way he looked at me was as if I did something bad against him. "Vienna, why aren't you eating? Is there a problem?" Tine suddenly asked. It's good he didn't turn around to see where I was looking. I just shook my head in response, this Sebastian messing my mind. After we ate lunch, Tine decided to go home so I took him out of the university. At first, he didn't agree but I insisted. I knew his knee was still hurt and he just really didn't want to bother me. I breathed a sigh of relief when I entered the university, I was met by Therese and Michelle. And they both teased me again. It's annoying, they were happy while I was annoyed. Now I'm with the two of them, we're going to watch a band show. I'm excited because it's the first time I'll be able to watch it here at the university. We arrived at the venue of the event, I thought Sebastian was going to perform because that's what I heard earlier when we were going here but it wasn't. They sang a sad song and it was like I just wanted to leave. I don't know why I lost interest to watch the show? "Vienna, are you okay?" Therese asked while Michelle was enjoying the show. "Let's go," I replied shortly. "Huh? You wanted to go here and then we're leaving?" she said in shock. I didn't response because she might be confused and I just listened even against my will. The show ended. Maybe when I went to Tine on the field earlier, Sebastian and his bandmates started playing. And when I saw Britt and Enzo in the cafeteria, they finished performing. Why now I just thought about it? Damn! It's really a wrong timing on what had happened earlier. We are now walking out of the university, the first day of the Club Fair is over and the continuation of the event will be tomorrow. "So Vienna my friend, what will you sing for the audition?" Michelle suddenly asked which surprised me. "You don't know anything? How can you know it if all your attention was on Tine?" she added. "We saw on the bulletin board earlier, all those who register at the Music Club will first go through an audition. How come in just one day up to 500 students joined? In other clubs, no one joined because of Sebastian, so Vienna prepare. The audition is on Thursday and you should pass," Therese explained to me. I thought Tine's fans were even worse but Sebastian's fans were the worst. "You can do that friend, Therese and I are just here, we will support you," Michelle said as she put her arm around my shoulder. I'm not nervous or scared, I prefer that I can't pass so that I don't have any problems and I can focus on academics. But maybe this is destined to happen to me, so I won't waste the opportunity given to me. You can do this Vienna, just fight!
