Chapter 063
We just finished our last practice and everything went well. But we didn't pay attention, I was just quiet and he was quiet too. Brother Dim was also watching over us, maybe Sebastian might shout at me again. I think he was just afraid that it might get to Uncle Francis and they would all die. I don't know why they are afraid of the threat of that person. I don't want to be unfair to others and most especially I don't want to receive special treatment from them.
I took my guitar from the side and put it in its holder. I'll just fix it with Brother RJ because it came from him. He gave it to me when I debuted and I broke it just now because of the nervousness I felt earlier.
There are only five of us left here now at the club, Sister Sheene and Brother Dim are just leaving. Me, Louie, Sam, Cedrick, and Bryan were the only ones left. And Sebastian, I don't know where he is and suddenly left earlier.
I discovered from Liam that Cheska is also just a transferee here at the university. They had not seen each other for 8 years because she lived and studied in Canada. But when Cheska returned here, Sebastian was not even able to see or visit her. I haven't asked why 'cause I'm not interested in knowing it.
"Louie, I'll go first, I still have a place to go," I said. Louie also turned to me who was currently arranging the chairs.
"All right Vienna, be careful," he replied.
"Be careful too, I'm leaving."
"Wait Vienna." Bryan stopped me as I was about to leave the club.
"Did you check your guitar?" he asked. I was confused while looking at him, what did he mean?
'Sebastian fixed your guitar earlier, he replaced the strings," Sam said.
'Huh? What?'
"Just see it later when you get home," Cedrick said with a smile.
'Why did he do that?'
I looked at my phone when I got out of the Music Club. It's already 4:45 in the afternoon and we will have a long celebration. I'm walking down the hallway now, I plan to buy water for Tine. I suddenly thought of him and I just wanted to make up for him.
I already bought water and a hamburger, I also accompanied it with food because he might be hungry too. I also left the cafeteria and I'm now walking toward the field. I also told Michelle that I would visit Tine first before I went to the parking lot. So even in the text they still tease me.
I have already arrived on the field and a few are watching their practice. I also found Tine, their coach talking to him but I couldn't see my brother on the field. I sighed, I miss my brother, especially the bonding between the two of us. Every time I come home to the Philippines, he invites me out to go to the mall, and watch movies and concerts. I missed those days, we can do that together but now we can't. Well maybe because of the age of the two of us. He's busy with his studies and activities he participates in, his business, and his personal life. I left alone, my brother left me.
And recently, I found out that he knew Martin. I trusted him, I believed he knew nothing. I've asked him a hundred times but his answer is always, "I don't know, if I had known I would have told you before." Such a liar!
I don't know what's his reason for hiding from me about Martin but I think he had a deep reason. Whatever it is, I will understand him.
"Hi, Vienna," Ian greeted me when he saw me.
"Bro! Vienna's here!" Tine immediately turned around when Ian called him. He immediately smiled at me so I couldn't stop myself from smiling at him.
"Hope everyone has," Laurence said when they came in front of me.
"Vienna, did you visit Tine here because you wanted to see him," Joseph added. And Tine was already scratching his neck because of the embarrassment he felt.
"I just thought of buying him water and food so I'm here." Because of my answer, his friends teased him even more. It's just cute to look at when the guy is giggling.
"Yee! you're sweet, so bro, don't try to let go of her," Lance said.
"It's better that we leave them first so they can talk. We'll leave for a while, Vienna, bro enjoy."
They all laughed because of the last thing Justin said. I just shook my head after they left. Tine invited me to sit in the bleachers a little far from his team. But when we sat down, he was still looking at me and smiling.
"Maybe you didn't expect me to come here?" I asked and he immediately avoided looking at me.
"Yes, I thought you were still in the Music Club," he replied.
"If I was still in the club, you wouldn't see me here. Here, I bought that at the cafeteria," I said as I handed him the water and burger I bought earlier.
"You even bothered to buy it," he replied.
"Don't you want me to take care of you?" I asked to his surprise. He immediately looked away but the redness on his cheek did not escape my sight.
"Not that I don't want to, I'm just not used to being taken care of by a girl. It's my responsibility as a man to take care of you so you don't have to make up," he replied after a minute of silence.
"I'll eat what you gave me but next time don't buy me anything, okay? It's okay for me to see you here. We have everything we need here, there's water and food so don't worry about me," he added.
"I didn't know you had food and water here, if I only knew I wouldn't have bought you that," I replied, pouting.
"You're really cute," he said while squeezing my cheek.
"Don't worry, you made me smile and I appreciate your effort. Thank you, Vienna," he said with a smile. So I couldn't stop myself from smiling at him too.
"You're welcome," I replied.
"So where are you going? I can't be with you."
"It's okay Tine, Therese understands that. Maybe at the mall or maybe in my shop."
"Is that so, be careful, especially you. It would be good if you were with me, I could send you home." I smiled because of what he said. Tine's words were so sweet but I didn't shudder at once.
"It's okay Tine, the three of us will be careful. So I'm leaving, maybe they're already waiting for me in the parking lot," I replied. The two of us stood up and I also took my guitar.
'Tine is really tall so sometimes I can't help but think, that I'm small.'
"Be careful okay? I'll just take you to the parking lot."
"It's okay Tine, just take a rest. I'm leaving and make sure to wipe your sweat or you'll get sick," I said to his surprise. He nodded shyly but he also smiled at me after.
