Quintus's brows furrowed slightly, a trace of irritation crossing his eyes. Did he misjudge again? Chloe tightened her grip on the phone and immediately apologized to the person, "I'm sorr-- " Before she could finish apologizing, the man, accompanied by an angry question, interrupted, "Can't you watch where you're going? Damn it!" As he spoke, a strong smell of alcohol came over. Chloe frowned slightly, discreetly creating some distance. The drunken man looked at her face, his voice abruptly stopping, and he was so mesmerized that he even forgot to close his mouth, staring fixedly at her.
