Chapter 47: Forbidden to Have Good Feelings for That Person
"I remember you came back from abroad, and Daniel and Leo should have grown up abroad too, right? I didn't expect them to speak English so fluently."
The teacher only found a temporary excuse. Daniel and Leo's performance in the class was excellent, and there wasn't much else to talk about at the moment, so they started discussing trivial matters.
Chloe nodded with a smile, "Because we have many compatriots around us, and we communicate with them in English."
The two little ones remained silent, obediently smiling. Whatever Mommy said, they nodded along.
Seeing how well-behaved they were, the teacher couldn't help but admire, "Apart from Chinese and English, do they also speak French?"
"Yes, they probably learned it from my colleagues abroad." Chloe patted the heads of the two little ones.
Hearing this, the teacher couldn't help but marvel, "In that case, they are too intelligent. At such a young age, mastering three languages is impressive. Primary school coursework should be a breeze for them, and they are so delicate-looking. You really know how to raise children!"
Upon hearing the teacher's praise, Chloe said, "Thank you. They are just eager to learn."
While chatting, Chloe kept thinking about when someone would come to pick up Grace. Glancing at the time, quite a while had passed.
She felt a tightness in her heart and asked, "By the way, when will this little girl's parents arrive?"
The teacher glanced at the time and said, "They should be arriving soon."
Upon hearing this, Chloe nodded slightly, lowering her gaze to Grace beside her. Grace stood obediently in front of her, still holding onto the hem of her clothes, as if afraid she would run away.
Seeing this, Chloe could only accept the reality that she couldn't escape. She turned her head to the other two little ones, "Why don't you go wait in the car for Mommy?"
The two little ones nodded obediently, turning to walk towards the entrance of the kindergarten. Watching them get into the car, Chloe finally relaxed and withdrew her gaze. Since she couldn't avoid meeting those two people, it was good that the two little ones could stay away.
At the kindergarten entrance, Daniel and Leo opened the car door, got in one after the other, and leaned against the window, looking outside.
"Why do you think Mommy asked us to come out?" Leo rested his chin on his hands, looking puzzled.
Daniel, busy arranging the backpacks of the two people, stood up and leaned beside him, speaking knowingly, "Because Daddy is coming soon."
Mommy seemed to really not want them to meet Daddy. However, she was definitely unaware that they had long since found out about Daddy's true identity and even knew what he looked like!
The two little ones eagerly gazed outside.
Before long, a Rolls-Royce conspicuously parked on the roadside. A tall man in a shirt and trousers stepped out of the car.
Ever since the appearance of that car, Momo had been keeping a close eye on it. Now, seeing someone getting out of the car, she stared intently for a long time, nudging her brother Daniel, "Look, is that Daddy?"
Daniel glanced at the man and nodded with certainty. He wouldn't forget – this face is the same as the person they saw online!
With his brother's confirmation, Momo couldn't help but compliment, "Daddy looks much more handsome in person than in the online photos."
As soon as he said this, he got a glare from Daniel. "Didn't I tell you before? Don't have any positive feelings toward that person!"
Daniel maintained a serious expression, watching the man outside as if facing a formidable enemy. It's this man who abandoned Mommy and the two of them!
Reprimanded by her brother, Momo closed her mouth.
