Chapter 11: Mom's Assist
After saying that, my mom stared at me with unblinking eyes.
I happened to be drinking water. When I heard this, I almost choked to death. Elias hurriedly patted my back and scolded me in the meantime, "Don't eat in such a hurry all the time."
My mom and my dad looked at each other meaningfully.
"There's no rush about getting a marriage license. I'm a little busy with work right now..."
"Work will never be over. You're already thirty..."
"Mom, I'm twenty-eight this year."
"Is that rounded up to thirty? If you wait any longer, your father and I will have to get old before we can have grandchildren. Besides, you're already living together. Isn't it time to think about getting married? Am I right, Elias?"
This time it was Elias' turn to choke and cough.
In the end, my parents gave the word that they would stay here until Elias and I got the marriage license.
After pacifying my parents, I brought Elias into the room to discuss with him, "Elias, we have no way to back down now, so let's do it for real."
He didn't say anything but stared straight at me.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
He remained silent. His handsome face turned red, his breathing became a bit heavy, and his eyes seemed to be tinged with fire. I didn't know what was happening, so I went up and pushed him, "What's wrong with you?"
As soon as the words left my mouth, Elias grabbed my hands and pushed me directly onto the bed.
I was stunned.
The surprise came as fast as a tornado.
What happened?
Did this innocent little boy suddenly get the hang of it? Something wasn't right!
His breath was getting heavier and heavier, his hands were moving around on me, and his eyes, which had been clear, were getting blurred. I wanted to reach out and slap him on the face but I quickly caught on before I did it.
This was not Elias.
At least, not the normal Elias.
I stopped Elias from moving around while breathing in.
Did my mother go crazy in expectation of grandchildren? Had she watched too many TV shows and learned some strange things?
"Elias," I called his name, "what have you just eaten?"
He frowned, struggling to keep his eyes focused. His lips were rosy and alluring. He said in a hoarse voice as he breathed heavily, "Auntie brought me a bowl of soup."
I couldn't help but scold him, "You're not a three-year-old anymore. How could you just eat anything?"
Elias answered me with difficulty, "It was made by Auntie herself, so I couldn't refuse it. Besides…"
I knew what he wanted to say.
I guessed he couldn't have imagined that my mom would come up with such a trickery.
"You, Jacqueline, go away..." He told me to get away while hugging me so tightly that I could barely breathe and I was both amused and annoyed.
"How am I supposed to walk away when you're hugging me so tightly?"
He struggled and tried hard to get up.
I reached out and pulled him, "We've done it once anyway and one more time isn't much. Don't restrain yourself. How can I compensate you in case you get sick?"
He was still making pointless insistence and shook off my hand with great difficulty, "No, I can't."
"Why not?" Seriously, since the last time I had tasted it, I had been thinking about that day from time to time. Now that my mom had made such a mess, I was also getting excited.
How could I let him get away?
I pulled him in and pressed my cheek against his hot chest, "Elias, you'll get sich if you hold it in like this."
He was already sweating profusely, "It's, it's none... none of your business."
He was stammering.
I took his face in my hands and kissed away his sweat carefully. His Adam's apple rolled up and down and his thin lips were red as blood.
I moved down and kissed him on the lips lightly.
His lips were hot and soft, making it really hard for me to resist.
"Jacqueline, don't..." He was still making his last stand, "Don't you do that."
I led him on, "It's not our first time. It happened once, it happened twice, I don't mind, so why do you mind?"
A flicker of sobriety crossed his eyes instantly, "It was an accident last time."
"Well then you might consider this an accident as well." I pinned him down and kissed him intently, not letting him have a moment of clarity.
Under my "pestering", Elias's last trace of sanity was completely gone.
I was turned over and he pinned me down in turn. He was breathing heavily and seemed to want to say something, but in the end, he didn't say anything.
At the moment he came inside me, I closed my eyes and held him tightly.
At this moment, I felt like I was experiencing the most joyful things in the most wonderful place in the world.
Perhaps it was because of his first experience, Elias was so gifted that he was much more skilled and tactful than the first time.
However, I was still a little overwhelmed by the excitement.
I almost cried and begged him to stop in the end. I wondered what kind of soup my mom had given him that was so fierce.
"Elias, I like you so much." I couldn't help but blurt it out when I reached the climax.
Elias froze in disbelief for an instant, but he eventually continued his movements and I was unable to say anything as he carried me along.
The next morning, I heard the shutter sound.
I struggled to open my eyes and found myself hanging like a koala bear on Elias, who didn't seem to be awake and allowed me to hang on to him.
My mother was still taking pictures, showing a contented smile.
I sighed and said in a small voice, "Mom, just stop, OK?"
"OK, OK," my mom gave me the OK sign and then walked out quietly. Before closing the door, she whispered, " Take a break from work and have a good rest with Elias today."
Shortly after, Elias woke up.
Seeing me staring straight at him, his blurred eyes gradually turned clear. Then he became frustrated after he lifted the quilt and saw himself naked.
Elias looked crestfallen and lost in thought.
I felt that he would probably try to kill himself if I didn't say something.
"It's not our first time and you don't have to be so nervous..."
"Jacqueline, let's get married."
I froze, and after a few seconds, my eyes widened in some disbelief, "What did you just say?"
He took a deep breath, calmed down, and said in a firm voice, "I said, let's get married."
I was surprised.
"Just because I slept with you? Ahem, I mean, just because we slept together?" I hurriedly changed my words before he glared at me.
His lips compressed into a line. Then he said with a serious face, "You're already mine. I should actually take the responsibility since the last time. But I haven't figured it out yet, and I wasn't sure if you were serious or if you were just trying to tease me."
I laughed from the bottom of my heart.
Before Susie's surgery, she told me in secret that Elias actually liked me because she had seen him draw my portrait secretly.
This man was just stubborn.
If I didn't push him, he would never admit it.
In fact, I hit the mark by a fluke this time. I had intended to slowly lead him into my gentle trap. But I didn't expect my mom to push ahead with her plan in a straightforward manner.
I must say that the old ginger was hotter than new.
