Chapter 30: Seize Every Minute to Date
I pecked him on the lips, "Honey, I love you so much."
Elias grunted as an answer.
Although I asked Elias to sleep with me in order to get the chance, I was just joking. I could not tell which of their plans was better.
Now there was only one way out.
"I have a business trip next week. You and Neil will accompany me."
When Elias heard this, his eyes nearly started out of his head, "Why do you need both of us to accompany you?"
I laughed in my mind, "Don't think I don't know what you mean by that. Your face is so sullen that you're obviously jealous."
I pinched his cheek, "Honey, are you jealous?"
He didn't say anything, staring at me with unblinking eyes.
"This time, your planning project is on par with Neil's. I want both of you to go on a business trip with me so I can assess how resilient you both are."
Neil clearly couldn't believe it when he heard that he was going on a business trip with me, followed by the other two interns, Simon and Quentin.
"Quentin was quite annoyed after hearing that it was Elias and Neil who would accompany you on your business trip. He has always been quick-tempered. Boss, even though Quentin's professional ability is not poor, I don't think he's capable of doing business with his temper."
I nodded my head, "What about Simon?"
Jenkins continued, "As for Simon, he's typically despicable. He always subtly stirs up conflict and makes Quentin go out on a limb."
I laughed, "It seems you already have someone in mind."
Jenkins replied hastily, "It still needs your instruction as to who will stay ultimately."
The destination of this business trip was France.
Yvette showed great concern as it was the first time that she did not accompany me on a business trip, "Boss, are you sure you can do it? It has always been me who has accompanied you."
"What are you worried about? There are two people with me this time."
Yvette whispered, "Then I'm even more worried."
"Hmm?"
"Boss, I don't know if I should say this."
"Say it."
"The way that intern named Neil looks at you is quite different actually. Are you sure you want him to accompany you on your business trip? Aren't you afraid that Mr. Silva might be jealous?"
I smiled, "I'll be happier if he gets jealous."
"Huh?"
"It means he already cares about me very, very much, doesn't it?"
The night before the trip, I had set someone on fire with a comment and ended up being tortured by him so much that I didn't even want to move my fingers. The next day, I narrowly missed the flight.
Sitting in the first class at the moment, I was tired and closed my eyes for rest, while Elias was reading a car magazine next to me.
I didn't sleep soundly as my temples pulsed a little. I opened my eyes and wanted to ring the bell and ask the flight attendant to bring me a glass of water.
Before I moved, a cup of chrysanthemum tea appeared in front of me, as well as Neil's handsome face.
"Boss, this is homemade chrysanthemum tea by my family, which has the effect of brightening the eyes and refreshing the mind. You can drink some of it to relieve your headache."
I took it and was also a little surprised, "How did you know I had a headache?"
He looked down and smiled shyly, "Maybe it's intuition."
A rustling sound came from the side. I didn't drink the tea but looked up to see Elias getting up with a stern face, "Boss, I'm going to the bathroom."
He practically said it through gritted teeth.
I nodded calmly.
After Elias left, I finished half of the tea under Neil's watchful eye and then got up, "I'm going to the bathroom."
The bathroom door was unlocked.
I knocked gently on the door and asked in a low voice, "Is there anyone in there?"
A low voice came from inside, "Yes." It was exactly Elias' voice.
I pushed the door in with a grin when I was pulled by a strong force and stumbled into a firm and warm embrace the next moment.
Elias' voice came from above my head, "How's the chrysanthemum tea?"
I stifled my laughter and said deliberately, "It tastes pretty good."
Just as the words left my mouth, I felt the arm around my waist tighten, causing me to almost lose my breath.
"Are you jealous?" I pecked his lips, "You get jealous so easily recently. Can I interpret it as you love me so much that you can't help yourself?"
He looked away and didn't say anything.
Silence meant acquiescence.
I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him unreservedly.
Elias pulled away from me, "Are you crazy? We're on a plane."
"So what?"
When I finally got out of the bathroom, my lips were as red as blood and so were Elias' ears.
We returned to our seats one behind the other.
"Boss, where's our first stop?"
"Hmm." I pondered before I said, "The headquarters of Y Group."
Hearing my words, Elias' face changed and he couldn't help but ask me, "The schedule Yvette told me wasn't like that."
"Do you follow Yvette's words or mine?" Business was business.
And it was what he had asked for.
Elias stopped talking.
Neil, who heard about Y Group's headquarters, was greatly interested, "Boss, I heard that our company had just signed a partnership agreement with Y Group."
"Yes."
"Y Group and Silva Consortium are inseparable. I have heard that Silva Consortium is strong and has its own industries in various countries and regions. If TR Group can have a partnership with Silva Consortium, it will be even more successful in the future." He spoke eloquently.
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
This young man had a clear mind and bold ideas that coincided with mine.
"That's a matter of the future. What matters now is what's in front of us." I said gently.
Neil nodded at me adoringly.
Although Yvette had not come with us, she had already arranged for someone to pick us up. TR had a branch office in France, which was small but respectable.
When we got off the plane, a black car was waiting at the entrance. When we came out, the person who came to pick us up said respectfully, "Boss, Mr. Sanders sent me to pick you up."
Mr. Sanders was the president of the French branch.
I nodded my head.
After arriving at the hotel, I took a shower, changed my clothes, and decided to go out for a stroll.
"Honey, I'm done showering and changing. Let's go for a walk?"
Elias lowered his voice: "Where do you want to go for a walk? Aren't we here on a business trip?"

"Business is for tomorrow. Do you really think you have to be busy 24/7 on a business trip? You need to strike a proper balance between work and rest. I'll meet you downstairs, see you soon."
After that, I added: "If you don't come, I'll come up to you myself."
He shared a room with Neil and I was sure he would weigh the pros and cons.
A short time later, Elias came down.
He was wearing a black trench coat, a hat, and a mask, with his hands in his pockets, looking like a coldblooded killer in a movie at first glance.
