"Good evening aunty". Arianna greeted after managing to get noticed by Mrs Salvatore who was understandably frazzled by Aurora's attitude. "Evening my dear, very sorry I didn't notice you earlier I was too preoccupied with Aurora's outburst, how are you". "Fine aunty, I'll go check on Aurora now". "Yeah sure, run upstairs and get a shower, you must be very tired". "Yes aunt". "By the way, Fiona called she asked to take care of your signing into school for the year, odd for her not to be around for your signing in, but I think she phoned the school already and I only need to do the informalities and take care of you". "Fine aunty, thank you so much" . "You don't need to thank me dear, you're more my better than Aurora who refused to say evening" . Arianna nods and walks away, she'd told aunt she was going to talk to Aurora but she was actually a little scared, something at the back of her mind told her she was the reason for Aurora's sudden change of mood, maybe she knew she wasn't asleep, what was she to say if that was the case and then she was still bothered by Aurora's words earlier, there's no escaping but she dreaded a confrontation. "When Aurora greets you tomorrow morning she'll be more of a daughter than Ari right?" Brandon said teasing his mom. "Arianna would still be the best daughter since she's sweeter, Aurora would have been better off a son, then I wouldn't need to be bothered even in the least bit". "I agree with that". "That reminds me where is my son who is actually a son, you all went out together in the morning didn't you?" "Well we did not return together". "Where did he go? You didn't bring my son back home and all you have to say is well you didn't return together, you'd better start talking". "Well, Caeser took him ". "How did Caeser show up at an amusement park". "I and Damon went to the park with the kids cause of business, and after we were done Caeser insisted on taking Damon". "Hollup there". "I was actually done talking". "You guys took my kids to the park where you had the dark world business, really when did that start". "It was the kids who wanted to go there cause they heard it was nice and all and it was you who gave them permission to go not me or Damon". "And you both didn't tell me the place wasn't safe so I could tell the kids not to go". "The kids are fine aren't they and we are too". "Yeah you are all fine but I'm missing a son". "Madam Salvatore your son didn't go missing he went to fulfill his obligations to his father". " Whatever, let Damon know I want him back home tonight". "That wouldn't be possible". Brandon replied with a grin this time, he was so sure neither he nor Damon would be available for the rest of the week. "And why is that, the kids resume school soon so I wanted a family dinner, they aren't traveling are they". "Yeah I know they aren't but-" "No buts, I and Damon have a whole lot of stuff to take care of over the weekend some really dumb oldies are about to give us a hard time". "The Dark and it's bullshit they act like they're working hard to right all wrongs in the community but the actual truth is they are the villains and the perpetrators they claim to fight". "You could use a chill pill". Brandon said earning a soft punch and a laugh. "Be safe". "Don't worry Mom, I'm going to stand with Damon those people are never going to get to victimize him". "Yeah, ever since you both got of age went for your training as agents till now, you've always had each other's back and while that has been some sort of relief it hasn't been the best". "Of course I do but having each other's back doesn't eradicate the danger that is always looming in secret neither does it change the fact that you are both living in risk daily". "Don't get yourself disturbed over what cannot be changed, the most important thing is we're winning this time for sure, so you can be rest assured". "Well, fine if you say so, I'll be leaving once it's 11pm so If the kids ask after me tonight or tomorrow I'm busy". "It's almost thier turn too, I wonder how Fiona and Julianne are taking this". Mrs Salvatore says and heaves a heavy sigh that gave an introduction into how heavy her heart was burdened. "Well I don't think aunt Fiona would be as bothered as either of you, Arianna just needs to pull through her agent training then she enters into the palace". "Naughty boy". "You don't need supper anymore do you?" "Yeah, i don't, I just need to catch some rest, we got deserts on our way back so if I need anything at all, I think I'll survive on that.
