" I think it's a bad idea", Paul said. "I am not hearing any of that, because he may be the answer to all my questions" .Arianna retorted immediately. "Let's not argue on this matter and try to find the evidence we are looking for and we'll go look for Mr Peterson". Aurora suggested calmly though leaving no room for questions in the tone she used. The search continued and Aurora stumbled upon a knife, not just a knife but a bloody one at that. Ahhh, she screamed getting the attention of both of them in the room with her. "What is wrong, and why are you screaming like a banshee?" Paul asked, hands akimbo. Aurora quickly took an handkerchief from her pocket and wrapped it around the knife. "Oh my God, is that really the murder evidence we've been looking for" asked Arianna. They all quickly went up the stairs and left the underground house, not before taking the photographs and the will along with them. "Let's take this to the police station and turn it in as evidence", Paul said. And they quickly rushed to the police station, to hand over the evidence to the police department. On getting to the police department what they met shocked them. "Hi Arianna," Peterson waved at her in greeting. She didn't give a reply because she was too dumbfounded to say anything at the moment. Instead she just gave out a weak Hi, which sounded like a kitten's meow. "What is he doing here?", Paul asked both Arianna and Aurora but none replied. As they got closer to Me Peterson he stood up and quickly embraced Arianna who was not expecting it, Arianna pushed him away gently and Mr Peterson quickly hid the disappointment and anger in his eyes and produced a smile. The police officer turned towards Arianna and told her they were about calling her but there she was in the office and what brought about the visit. Arianna quickly lied about what she came there for, and told him that she just wanted to know if the there was any update regarding the killer. Mr Peterson excused himself to take a call since his phone has been ringing for a while when he heard that and this made Arianna quickly give the evidence to the police officer and she was thanked in return. "What did I miss?" Mr Peterson asked looking around the room. "Nothing". Arianna and the police officer quickly replied together. Arianna excused herself but the police officer was quick to stop her and told her to have a sit. As she sat down, she expected Mr Peterson to excuse them but he didn't. "Why is he here officer?", Arianna asked getting angry. The police officer only smiled and told her that she has nothing to be afraid of, that Mr Peterson was going to be her guardian as of today. "What!" Arianna yelled. This brought the attention of her friends who was standing not far away from the cubicle. "Yes Arianna" Mr Peterson was quick to respond. "I was not talking to you". Arianna replied angrily. This made Mr Peterson furious because he wasn't expecting her not to accept him. He always thought she would accept him won't put up a fight. "Why do I have to go leave with a stranger I'm fine on my own and I'm old enough to take care of myself" Arianna defended, firmly. "Well he has a document that he and your late Father signed that if anything should happen to him that he should be your guardian". The police officer explained to her. "Let me see the documents". Arianna asked. "Oh I'm sorry you can't have it, because it's with the lawyer who took it for autenctification, but you can see the soft copy if you want it's on my laptop". The police officer said. She quickly turned the laptop towards herself and checked the documents that was causing her life to turn around and it seems as if they were right. Her Father really signed the documents and she felt her whole life go before her and she has no control over it. "I still can't go with him," Arianna said after she finished reading through the documents. "And why is that" Mr Peterson enquired, more like barked. "Well the lawyer has not authorized the papers, therefore I cannot go with him," Arianna answered looking smugly at Mr Peterson. "Yes that's true" the police officer replied. This made Arianna laugh triumphantly, but Mr Peterson was red with fury, but he still managed to control himself from shouting and thanked the officer before leaving. On his way outside he was muttering to himself and throwing curses around unaware that Paul and Aurora was watching him and they quickly followed after him, making sure they weren't seen. And they heard his conversations on the phone with someone unknown. "Have you gotten rid of the evidence?" He asked the unknown caller. It was as if the caller said something wrong and he got angry and started yelling on the phone and telling the person how stupid and useless he was. Argh he screamed up to the sky attracting passerbys who gave him a dirty look clearly because of his eye patch. "Only if that bitch agreed to allow me be her guardian I would have unlimited access to the house and I can always look for the evidence, but she has to be a smart ass like her stupid mother" Mr Peterson said to himself. "We should probably go back and check on Arianna before we miss her". Aurora quickly suggested. On their way back they were discussing what they heard Mr Peterson say and they almost bumped into Arianna at the door. "Where have you guys been" Arianna inquired. "We've got news for you". Paul said excitedly. "I also have news for you guys," Arianna also said but this time she didn't smile. Arianna quickly gave them the story of what transpired inside the police station, and they seemed shocked. This made the both of them look at each other and they gave her their own story.
