"Well because aunt said some really disturbing stuff, you know she said maybe you were harbouring some stuff you didn't feel good telling me. Said you did it a lot when you were younger". "Well this discussion took place earlier and mum changed the topic immediately she sighted me, didn't you get the vibe that she didn't want me to know she told you about that?" "Well......" "Well what?" "Well is that the point? Don't try to change the topic ``Aurora". "Well, didn't you think that I could get mad at mum, and mum could feel bad and you know a big beef could happen in this house between mum and I? You know I could find it hard to confide in my mum next time because I don't want her going to tattle on me to my friend who I do not want to know how I feel but you would be good, you wouldn't be concerned. Why? cause you're not the one who spilled somebody's secret and you not the one whose secret got spilled. Now do you still think I'm just being a lousy jerk?" Aurora asked after her entire ramblings. "Well I did not mean it like that". Arianna said overwhelmed by Aurora's analysis of the problem. It definitely made her look bad and shallow. "Okay you didn't mean it like that, you just didn't have time to think of what your words or actions could do". Aurora replied, giving her a pointed look. 'There are consequences for everything and you know and if you don't pay it then somebody else". 'I'm sorry, would that fix it?" 'Well it could have, but would that fix it ruined it's chances". 'Aurora…….". Ariana". 'Well you can sleep now". 'You could have done this earlier and you would have saved us both the stress". Aurora said and laid back down and turning her back to Ariana. 'I'm going downstairs. I'll talk to ice if have to it's better than the wall of a back down staring". 'My parrot is called Holy not ice '. 'Now who the hell names a parrot holy". Arianna abs but only meets silence from aurora. Ariana makes her way back downstairs but doesn't find mrs Salvatore in the living room where they had left her earlier. Her mind travels back to aurora's words earlier. 'Was she really insensitive? should she have considered, mrs Salvatore having trouble before telling on her? Would aurora really be angry at aunt?" Arianna thought questioning her actions for a while 'Butler Ella" 'Yes ma'am" 'Can I get some toast in the garden please?" 'Okay miss. Would you be needing anything else?" 'You can just heat some milk for me". 'Okay". 'If only Paul was here I wouldn't be bored". Ariana muttered bitterly then remembered her little spat with Paul yesterday. 'How was everything suddenly falling apart or is it me thinking too much. All of a sudden it seemed like she had been living a well scripted life and wasn't really aware of the things going on around her. I shouldn't think too much just read my novel and enjoy my toasts, I'm sure when school resumes we'll all be too busy for fights and everything would quietly fall in place '. Arianna said and pulled a bright smile. There was just that apprehensive feeling she couldn't shake off. 'Here's your toast ma'am '. 'Thank you ma'am Ella '. 'Anything else miss". 'None". Arianna replied and dismissed the old lady of the Salvatore's home. 'School resumes tomorrow and it's final year I absolutely can't wait". Paul said the excitement in his voice so evident. 'I'm afraid I cannot match your excitement my sweetie". Mrs saint replied. 'Sad you'll be left alone at home?" Mr saint asked chipping in his part in the conversation while massaging his wife's foot. 'More like I cannot believe he has really grown up. It all feels like a flash when I was holding him in my arms, now see him standing here telling me it's his final year in school". Mrs saint answered tears laced her eyes. 'I have to agree. Any important gift recommendations for your birthday? I mean I can't but you water guns anymore can I?" Mr saint said and they all laughed. 'I'll think about it and let you know. A phone is already on the list, you don't need to request for that". 'Can I ask for my own private house, my personal car or even a loaded account?" 'Boy, you get all these on your birthday without asking '. 'Wow". Paul exclaimed, making his parents laugh. 'Mum are we still going to the cathedral tomorrow?" 'Yes of course, why won't we? You know how much your mum loves attending the cathedral and all the peace it gives her". His dad replied instead. 'Doesn't it ever make you feel out of place? like we're vampires, the humans find it hard to accommodate us, would you Lord be good to us?" 'The Christians always say you know, that the Lord is lord of all and what more he saved me once, so he is no stranger to me". 'Well if you say so, I find it quite unbelievable though '. Right now you should be going to bed". 'Awww…….. I wanted to spend more time with you both". 'It's fine darling, you should head to bed early. It's resumption week you should start practicing early to bed, early to rise". 'Okay mom, but I'll be holding you up on your promise……". Paul said and got up from the couch. 'Definitely son shall we fix a date?" 'Whenever you two choose". 'Due to dad's unpredictable schedule, I think we should fix it for whenever he comes home next, what do you think?"
