" Is it that you guys decided that you want to spend the day outside, and Saint I thought you called saying you wanted to come say hi to me I am inside you know". Mrs Salvatore said with a look of ' are you joking with me ' Mrs Salvatore had obviously sat inside waiting for the kids to come in and had gotten tired of waiting. "Sorry aunty this two girls wanted to beat me to coming inside to see you and I was not too sure what their plan was". Paul said looking at both girls warily. "Mom, would you mind if I threw this boy right outside the gates, I really don't want to be listening to him". Aurora said rolling her eyes the second time "I second that motion aunty". Arianna spoke up holding up a hand. "You both should go find something doing and stop trying to bully my dear son". "Mom you're taking his side over ours right now". Aurora said faking an horrified expression. Arianna gets involved faking a mortified expression like she didn't expect the betrayal by Aurora's mom "You girls can do whatever you like but I'm taking my son in ". Mrs Salvatore announces with a look of ' I don't give two penny whatever you think'. "Come on in Paul I prepared your favorite banana and milk shake ". "As always aunty is still the one who treats me the best". "Fine Paul Saint, keep up that attitude, I do not want to see you in my room, let's go inside too Ari". "Damn did Rora just call my full name that spells trouble". Paul cursed inwardly. "Did he take the joke too far". He pondered inwardly. "But then Aurora could be pulling his legs, well whatever it's not like he ever won an argument with Aurora, with Arianna he would always win but not Aurora, guess love really makes one stupid afterall. "Hey baby, it's not up to that yet aunty was just being doting cause she hadn't seen me in a while, sorry let's go in together uhn". "Well since you've apologized I won't stand on the matter". They all go in and takes a sit, while Aurora's mom serves them a drink. "So Paul how is your mama, when Aurora said you were coming I thought it'd be you both". "She had to run some errands really quick, she said she'll come around during the weekends". Paul answered. "Okay then, what would you kids eat?" "My mom sent flowers said she owed you some, all that drama when I arrived made me forget". "It's okay, more than you your mother deserves a scolding, I told her she didn't have to buy the flowers". " Can we go back to the subject of food". Aurora interrupted. "Aurora it's been barely five hours since you had breakfast". Her mother replied giving her a pointed look. "Mom five hours is enough for one meal to digest especially something as almost inexistent as breakfast, and I'm very sure it's been over give hours". Aurora replied with a smug look she would never lose an argument. "I'm off to prepare food". Mrs Salvatore announced walking out of the sitting room to the kitchen. "Well, what are we waiting for let's go hang out in my room till then ". Aurora said , standing up and turning to go to her room. "Saint why didn't you say we were actually coming to say hi to aunty I would have prepared her a gift". Arianna said with a sulky expression. "I wondered why you had a sulky look during the conversation, well even this bighead didn't have to prepare a gift my mom hardly stands on formalities". Aurora consoled her wondering why this people bother with trivial issues. "Uh, it's fine I'll come over during the weekend too and bring something for aunty so I'm not left out". "Yeah, that's good". "Who.is preparing for school?" Paul asked. "You did not have to bring up that topic, asides you and those humans whose parents go through so many to pay their school fees nobody else is enthusiastic about school okay". Aurora looks burned out, like she didn't want to resume. "It's not that bad Aurora plus we can't avoid it so why not just enjoy it". Paul said. "I think we don't have to go to school just cause our fathers want to fit it in the society well they put their children through this hell called school it's so ridiculous". Aurora flared up. "Calm down Rora it's definitely not that bad". Arianna tried consoling her. "Not that bad, when I remember that my brothers had to go through all this and college I'm annoyed, cause it means I will too, we will too , we're vampires so what's with the hypocrisy does anybody hate their identity". Aurora is now angry and paces about the room, she looks like she's been holding it in for quite a while. "Aurora-". Paul attempts to say something but stops halfway. "We go to school everyday and watch those humans act all clumsy and trip on their faces, yet they have the guts to talk about vampires like their dirt when some of them wishes they had the power we have. I don't know about anybody but I find it all stupid that we're doing this can we not just live on our own". "If you live on your own how are you going to get clothes, how are you going to color your hair and how do you want to get chocolate. We need the humans okay and there is no way we would get what we need from them if they're scared of us". "Whatever, I am not going to college after highschool.
