Chapter 93

As Paul and Arianna came closer they saw a picture of Aunty Fiona, Mr Smith and Arianna's parents and Ceaser and they were much younger. But what was astonishing was the unknown man that stood with them and what was most surprising was that the man was looking fondly at Arianna's mom and he also had an eye patch on. "Who do you think the eye patch man was"? Questioned Paul. "I also don't know him", replied Aurora. But Arianna said something but it was low. What did you say? Paul questioned. I have seen him, Arianna said again but this time a little louder than before. So you mean you know him. "I didn't say I know him, I only said I've seen him". Arianna replied firmly. Who do you think he is?, And where did you see him? Paul questioned accusingly. Arianna eyed him badly because of the accusation in his tone when he was asking his questions. Arianna began narrating how she met the man to Paul and Aurora and they sat down to listen to what she had to say. It was some months before the death of my parents I had gone to a party and was past my curfew so I had to sneak in through the window when I heard the hushed conversations between my dad and the man and I think he's name was Peterson and I think he was offended because my dad stopped keeping contact with him. I think he was my Mom's ex- boyfriend and he wanted my parents to always call him and give reports of what was happening to him. I don't know if my parents owe him or anything but it was they were talking about me because when mom came down to meet them he was clearly restraining himself from going to meet her and he became more aggressive with his conversations but what struck me was when he said they couldn't keep her away from him and I didn't understand that and I still don't understand. Arianna finished recapping. "So what do you think they were talking about that made that man come to your house that late"? Paul asked. " I don't know" .Arianna answered angrily, "Do you know I would hesitate to tell you. "Calm down the both of you", Aurora told the both of them. See we've got to find this evidence tonight and we need to stop yelling and fighting each other to achieve that. Okay? Aurora continued. So let's continue checking for any clues who that man is, what he wanted that night and how it connects to the death or murder of Arianna's parents. So everyone continued searching, but this time with a purpose and plan for what they want. "Check this out guys" Paul said as he was fiddling with the map of the world on the table. *What now Paul" Aurora said, beginning to feel pissed at Paul for always taking things with leverty and was always behaving like a child. "I meant to show you that this world's map is not correct and it could be a clue to something" I meant to tell you but you are always shouting at me and telling me what I'm doing is not ideal or right. As he was talking he got angry and banged his hand on the map and suddenly there was a loud click and the family picture on the way gave way to a safe which was embedded into the wall and everyone gasped as to why there was a safe hidden behind a family picture.
