Chapter 112

After the discussion with the Alpha, I left for my room to meet with Laura later. I wanted to have a cool discussion with who about meeting with the wizard. I believe that the Alpha was right because there was no way we could get the necessary information we needed if not through that means. I only hoped she wouldn't get upset that I had gone before her. When the sun was u p and I was feeling hungry, I went to see Laura in her bedroom and she was still in bed even though she was not sleeping. 'Why are you still in bed?" I asked when I entered and saw her comfortably in the bed. Immediately, I knocked. I had expected an enthusiastic Laura to run open the door for me but I just heard a weak voice tell me to come in when the door was open. 'I feel very comfortable here. Can you believe I haven't gotten up from this bed ever since I laid here last night." She said and her sleepy face was proof that she just woke up minutes ago 'Why?" 'I haven't washed my face or my body, I just don't want to get up." She said again, relaxing on the bed. 'Get up. Go take your bath so we can find something we could eat. Aren't you really hungry?" I asked her hoping she would agree because I was. 'Yes, I am but I can't stand up from here. This bed is so comfy." She laughed. 'I understand you though, after all we've been sleeping on lead bags for the past weeks." I supported her but still I needed to get up from the bed so we could prepare and go see the wizard. This news wasn't what I would love to share with her because of how she would react but with the way she was going, I believe I needed to give her a valid reason to leave her bed. 'Why are you in such a hurry?" She asked me. 'Well, something happened?" 'What?" She asked, still trying to cover herself with the sheet. I stopped her immediately and then broke the news to her. 'We're going to find your parents." I said it so quietly and hoped she wouldn't hear me. 'What?" She took the bed covers away from herself and stared at me. This was the only news that could get her away from her bed. 'What do you mean? Talk to me." She was very impatient and I could see that she was getting excited. I didn't want to get her hopes so high and I also didn't want to disappoint her. 'I think we could find some information about your parents today, only if you would get up from the bed and follow us." 'Us? Who is 'us"?" She was still puzzled about the whole thing. 'Damien, I and the Alpha." 'Seriously? You talked to the Alpha about my parents and he offered to help?" 'Of course.." I was still speaking when she hugged me abruptly, choking me from saying any other thing I wanted to say. 'What?" I acted surprised. 'What do you mean by what? You promised to help me and that's what you're doing. I'm so grateful to you for your help." She was trying to get me emotional but I refused. 'Laura, get yourself up from that bed and move your tired body right now!" I playfully screamed. 'Alright!" She ran down from the bed almost falling. I was in the room checking out some magazines in her room when I heard her singing loudly from the bathroom. She was excited about the news about finding her parents. I only prayed that the wizard would be worth it. I just hoped that we would never regret going there. The Alpha had assured me that he was very good so I prayed he would actually be very good as what he said. Minutes ate, Laura was fully dressed in a nice blue dress, she was so excited that she had to dress up also. 'This is actually nice." I told her immediately I set my eyes on her dress. 'Thank you." She spinned for me. 'Do you think it's too much.. I mean after all we are going to see a wizard, there's no need to overdress." 'You're not overdressed." 'Alright. Let's go. Wait, what of Damien? Where's that big headed man?" 'I haven't seen him today but we can go find out where he is." I suggested. I and Laura laughed our evil laugh and left to go give Damien some problems. The first time we knocked, he didn't give us a good answer so we knocked again. Then the second time, he responded by coming out of his room and smiling. 'Yes?" He answered, blocking us from seeing what he was doing but trust us, we pushed him aside and entered. He was dressed only in his shorts with no clothes on. 'Why is your room messed up?" Laura asked him. 'Where have you been?" I asked him, then taking notice of him in shorts only. 'Can you put some clothes on?" 'Do you like what you see?" He asked me. 'No, no." I blushed and Laura laughed. 'There's actually nothing to be proud of. Nothing." She said, referring to the six packs Damien had. 'Dress up, we are going to meet with an Alpha concerning finding Laura's parents." I said to him, ignoring the look he was giving me and so I don't get distracted by that body of his. 'A wizard?" 'Dress up. Well explain on the way. Go on." 'How can I Dress up with both of you in my room with your big eyes open staring at me?" He asked, then I and Laura burst out laughing but still made no effort to leave. 'Can you guys leave?" He tried asking politely but we still didn't leave the room. He waited a few seconds and when it was clear that we were going nowhere, he opened the door and left with his clothes. 'Are we such wicked friends?" I asked, feeling bad that we made him leave his own room to go dress up somewhere hidden. 'Don't worry, he doesn't have anyone like us. We are his everything, he won't be angry with us for a long time." Laura replied and she was right. Damien wasn't angry when he came in but only complained about how we were driving him crazy. 'You know we love you and we love you too. Don't be too angry with us. We can't do anything without you." Laura cajoled him as we left the Palace
