CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

Avilla's pov Today is Monday, last night Camilla came for the sleepover as promised in my house so we could get ready for school together. We were having our revenge. 'Remind me why we are doing this again?" I ask as Camilla pulls and tugs at my hair. She said she wanted to get me ready today so I could look extra hot today in order to carry out our plan. 'What makes you think our plan would work?" I asked her She started at me through the mirror, she looked like a doll in her midnight blue dress and a strappy sandals and her hair pulled into a high ponytail. 'Avilla" sighs Camilla. Turning me around to face her. 'Even without the makeup, you are very beautiful. If it doesn't work on Rohan, it will surely work on the other males and that is a win-win." She said to me Maybe I was being too dense because one guy rejected me, if it was in a normal and we weren't wolves and all, I would be on the market for another guy immediately. Why does this get to be different? 'The makeup is just to boost your confidence, so you feel powerful enough to carry out your mission" she added 'Way to make me sound like an evil spirit" I quipped making us both laugh. I have a short black skater skirt paired with a lacy black corset and a pair of tights, I finished off my outfit my thigh high stiletto boots. My hair was in big loose curls and I paired it with a leather jacket. I looked like an action girl and that made me feel bad ass and confident as we stepped out of my room. 'My God! You girls look beautiful" exclaims my aunt when we reached the front door, she was about to go to work. I beamed at her compliment, I really felt beautiful, and my makeup was light in contrast to my clothing. We ate breakfast in the kitchen, it was pancakes made by my aunt. She woke up early today to make us breakfast. Later, we were on our way to school in my car. We decided to carpool today. 'You can do this, believe in yourself" Camilla said to me right before we stepped out of the car. I noticed we drew a lot of attention as soon as we left the car, I wonder if it was because of our new look. We were looking extra hot today. Some students stopped in their tracks to stare. I heard whispers here and there. My strong werewolf hearing catches the word 'new girl" and 'hot" followed by some lewd comments too from some guys which I ignored. I figured this was as good as any way to reveal myself. Remembering out mission, I ignored the lewd comments, held my head up high and pasted a sultry smile on my face as I gave my hips a defiant sway to it. I looked towards Camilla who gave me a smile and a hooded wink before leaving for her classes. I passed by chandler who stopped to stare at me, I stared at him too. 'You look good enough to eat" he says. I think he realizes what he said once it left his mouth. 'I am sorry, I didn't mean to sound creepy. It's just that you look so good." He said with a sheepish smile. I let out a laugh at his cuteness. 'It's okay, we are good" I told him 'Can I walk you to your class?" he suggested 'Sure, that would be nice" I said He brought out his arm for me to hold as he led me to class. I spotted Rohan's head facing our way when we got closer to the classroom that we share. My wolf perks up and looks interested in the drama. She couldn't decide if she should be mad at him for rejecting us or just want him because he smelled delicious. His eyes found me and flicker up and down my body, his hazel eyes darken even more he saw whose arms I was holding but I was past caring. His body tensed but I just let my eyes skip his to smile at ben who waved at me before looking at my companion with the same smile on my face. It was working because from the corner of my eyes, I could see smoke emit from his ears and I smiled to myself. When chandler dropped me in front of the class, I slipped into the class for the first lesson to take my regular seat in front where he could get a good view of me. The room was only half filled but a steady stream of students were still coming into the room. Rohan and ben walked in to take their normal seat, I didn't turn around to look at him, I just looked straight ahead but boy, and he was looking so good today. I was going crazy and I tried to rein in my excitement from seeing him. He slides into his seat while staring at me while I pretend not to notice, ben takes the seat beside him looking at me curiously. I still pretended not to notice or look at any of them. I flip my hair and turn around to face my neighbor who to my favor was very handsome and human too. I turned to him with a smile 'hey" I whisper softly but loud enough that he can hear me, I give my best sexy smile before lowering my eyes so my lashes fan across my cheek. 'Hi" he answered and gives me a slow smile that made him look even more handsome. I peer up at him through my lashes. 'Do you have a pen I could borrow?" I ask him softly. 'Yes" he said as he hands me one of his pens. 'Thank you" I said giving him another coy smile. I heard Rohan growl under his breath, I looked over at him to see him staring at us with a clenched jaw and dark eyes. He still looked hot when he is mad. Well at least we know that he is very bothered when I talk to men. I wish I could say I stopped there but I had to make him go crazy before I stopped. I smile at me neighbor whose eyes widen comically seeing that I was interested him, he smirked when I smiled flirtatiously at him. I heard him gulp and had to hold back the laugher threatening to bubble from my lips. I can see Rohan clenching his jaw, his whole body was tense. I was feeling pretty good about myself now. I focus my attention on the board while listening to the teacher talk, wanting to annoy him further, I stretch my legs to the side, giving the human a clear view of my tight covered legs. He didn't disappoint, he kept staring at my legs. Rohan was gripping the chair so tight, I was afraid he was going to break it. Camilla was right, this was a lot of fun and I couldn't wait to tell her how it went. When I managed to meet up with Camilla during lunch, she was bursting with excitement when I told her about what happened. 'I wish I was there" she complained 'You should have seen him, he was bringing out smoke from his ears" I said clapping my hands together. Camilla laughed before entwining her hands with min, dragging me to the cafeteria. Most of the people were staring at us because we looked so hot. We sat with Mitchell and his friends. I searched for Rohan but he was nowhere to be seen. 'Hey Avilla, come sit close to me" chandler called out to me as soon as I got my food. I smiled as I made my way over to him, scooting to make some space for me. I sat next to him. 'Thank you" I told him The rest of the time flew by as we talked and laughed, Mitchell was a funny guy. Camilla was lucky to be mated with him, he was going to make her laugh every time and that was pretty good in a relationship. Chandler on the other hand, was really a good guy but he liked me and I didn't want to lead him on. It wouldn't be fair to him and to me. But he was a good company and for a while I forgot that my love life was in shambles.
