CHAPTER SEVENTY-FIVE
Vladimir's pov
We had successfully tracked her to her school but I couldn't sniff her anywhere in this whole school. I had to register as a student with Dimitri who couldn't stop laughing at me.
Sara swore that she wouldn't step foot in the school and would always be around to protect us but can't go to school again.
I respected her decision but I didn't really need her help to do this, if she wants to stay back then fine she could.
It was almost lunch time and she still wasn't here, I was almost close to giving up and going to another school and register too. I was in the office when I sniffed her out, she was at the cafeteria, and her scent wasn't hard to spot. She stood out from my thousands of students in the school.
"I think I found her" I informed Dimitri.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yes, she is in the cafeteria." I said.
"Let's go then"
He followed me as I led the way to the cafeteria, I swung the doors open and I swear I could hear girls swoon at the sight of us.
I paid no attention to them instead I focused on finding her. I found her at the far end of a table, she was wearing the jean jacket with her back to us, her friends were all whispering about how hot we were and she grumbled about not seeing it and I found that so fucking adorable. I tried to hold in my smirk.
I felt the girl next to her tense up at a closer look of me, she knew I was a vampire and I bet other wolves were threatened too.
She watched me with careful but alert eyes showing she was ready to fight back if anything happens.
"Hello" I said.
She tensed before turning, her eyes wide with surprise and her lips parted with pleasure, just the exact look I imagined getting from her.
She hugged me so tight, I could feel her take a whiff of my cologne and I smiled. I could feel Dimitri's glee from my back and I wanted to smack him.
He probably thought I was lying till right about now.
She stopped when she took note of Dimitri's presence and she shyly greeted him. We were offered a spot on the table and I gladly accepted the offer.
I could feel the tension from the she wolf beside her but further more I could feel the dominance from a far side of the table, a sound rang through the room and I turned to see a pissed of wolf exerting waves of anger directed at our table. I was confused and it wasn't until I realized that this was the wolf who rejected her.
He had some nerves showing his power when he was he one that rejected her and judging by the way that she wolf clung so tightly to him, they had something recently. What a fool!
I turned back to look at her and she was already staring at me not minding the drama her ex was causing. I was here to stay and it was going to take more than a mere warrior wolf to make me change my mind.
I leaned close to her ear watching with satisfaction as she shivered against me. "I told you I would find you" I reminded her.
"Yes, yes you did and I am glad you found me" she said shyly.
She yelped as and shot a glare towards the she wolf who rose a brow at our exchange.
"I didn't get your name before" I said.
I felt Dimitri's eyes drill a hole in the side of my head. I bet he was having fun right now.
"Avilla Stevenson is my name" she said.
The name rang through my head but I couldn't remember why, I let it go and focused on being here with her.
"How did you find me?" She asked.
"It was very easy actually" I summarized.
Dimitri cleared his throat and sent me a disapproving look reminding me of the stress we went through to track her.
"Tell me" she urged, flashing her eyes at me.
"I may have checked all schools in the vicinity before I found this one." I told her
I heard the awns around the table, yeah it sounded romantic and I know girls loved that but Avilla just watched me closely.
"I can't believe you tracked down a girl you barely know her name, you are so cheesy" she said grinning.
I grinned back at her, she was so adorable.
I expected her melt like those other girls but she stated her observations as she noticed them.
Dimitri on the other hand was trying so hard not to die if laughter, the little twit!
"Dude that was some cheesy shit" a guy close to the she wolf who I would assume is her mate commented.
"It was worth it" I replied making Avilla grin harder and the guys groan.
"Avilla can I talk to you for a moment?" The wolf asked her.
"Sure" she said to her and she turned to me whispering she would be back in a jiffy.
They moved out of earshot but we were still able to hear them.
"You realize that he is a vampire, right?" She asked Avilla.
"Yeah duh, it's not like I go around hugging strange guys" she answered back.
"Wolves and vampires don't mate, it's not possible" she insisted.
"Well I know that but this is my second chance mate and I would be dammed if I let some damn myth stop me" she said hotly.
Wolf girl nodded in satisfaction, making sure her friends knew what she was getting into, they walked back to the table and sat down.
This is going to be fun!
