CHAPTER EIGHTY-FOUR

Avilla's pov I contemplated about telling him about Rohan's visit. He came knocking my door demanding we should talk, I was shocked at his audacity to come close to my house when I specifically told him not to, but if he had something that important to tell me then maybe I should listen to him first. The entire conversation went sideways fast, I remember it like it was yesterday. There was a knock on my door in the afternoon just two days after Vladimir left to see his father and I wasn't expecting anybody. Not even Camilla, I got up from the sitting room, paused the show I was watching and went to open the door. I regretted that action immediately when I saw who, I tried to close the door but he wedged it with his foot. I wasn't in the mood to play games with him and I was sure it was written all over my face. He barged into my house and I thought to myself, 'He is trying if he thinks this would win me back then he is doing an awful job then." 'What in the world do you want?" I asked him in a no nonsense tone. He looked at me and he smirked. 'You look good, I guess your new boyfriend is taking good care of you" he starts finally. 'Is that all you came here to say, I have important things to do" I warned him. 'He is lucky" he chuckled. I looked clearly at Rohan and I could see that he has changed, he looked rougher and more sinister than the last time I saw him. He had this evil aura around him now. I don't even know when I started seeing auras, I know my body has been different since I started hanging out with Vladimir. 'Since you have had your fun and I have had mine, I think we should move on and get this behind us…" he started He came here for peace, I thought he was going to start making trouble again. 'Yes, we should move on" I intercepted his speech. He was absolutely right and we should end whatever this is and move on with our lives, I liked being with Vladimir and I think he would be better off with Sophie. 'We should move on and get back together" he said louder. All I could do was stare at him, is he on drugs? That could be the only reason why he would say such a thing. 'That's the way it should be, I also need to tell you something" he said scratching the back of his neck in a nervous manner. 'What?" I asked him. 'You see… I am not exactly what you think I am and I am sure your little boyfriend has not told you what he is" he said. I looked at him like he was stupid, he is supposed to focus on himself yet he is attacking Vladimir. Classic Rohan, selfish and always looking for violence. 'What?" I asked stupefied. 'I am not human" he says simply. 'You don't say?" I said. He looked at me shocked and I smirked, it was nice having the upper hand for once. 'This is the first time you are doing the right thing but it's at a very wrong time. You think everyone is as vain as you? 'I asked him. 'What?" he asked still shocked. 'I know what Vladimir is, a vampire and I am also aware of what you are. A selfish wolf who cannot take responsibility" I told him. 'Uh… he told you?" he asked me. I was angry right now, I don't know where or how the anger came from but I really wanted to hit him. 'No you dumbass! Because I am one 'I screamed at him. It was satisfying to see his jaw drop for once, he looked shell shocked with his face as white as sheets. Then suddenly it turned to anger. 'Why didn't you tell me?" he screamed at me. I took a step back in surprise, he is mad at me? 'Excuse me?!" I asked him. 'You silly girl, all these could have been avoided" he said. I stared at him for a long time and I burst into laughter, he really was on drugs. 'What kind of girl do you think would want to be with a selfish, self-centered and vain minded person like you?" I asked him. He ignored the question and just focused on blaming me. 'This is all your fault! I wouldn't even be with Sophie if you told me you were not human and how were you able to hide your scent for so long?" he asked. 'Really? You are seriously blame me? I asked him. He nodded his head at me but didn't say anything. 'You know, I realized something from all the drama and emotional roller coaster you made me deal with. You are more interested in power than being happy." I told him. He hissed at me and rolled his eyes al at the same time. 'Avilla, I did something to ensure nobody stands in our way ever again, since you have your wolf now. We can be together with no worries" he said. Wait, is he for real? I asked myself, I rubbed my temple because I was having headache from all the shouting. 'Rohan, what did you do?" I asked him. 'You are looking at the new alpha of my pack" he announced proudly. Uh-oh. 'Is that why you came here? You think being an alpha would make you a better person? All you did was get more power and you are going to be a shitty person and even a shittier mate to whoever the person is because it's not me and it can never be me" I spat venomously. He blinked and all of a sudden, he had my neck in his hands. He squeezed me neck so tight that I coughed and wheezed repeatedly but he didn't let go. 'The mistake you are making is thinking I would let you be with that leech over me, you are mine and will always be mine. It doesn't matter if I am fucking Sophie, you are mine Avilla, don't think your little vampire boy would stop that from happening" he said before dropping me. When I was done narrating the story, Vladimir's eyes were bloodshot and I know it looked scary but I was attracted to his dark side. It excited me. 'He dared to lay his filthy hands on my mate?" he said darkly. 'It's okay, he didn't hurt me. I am okay now" assured him as I leaned into his touch He calmed down but I knew this was far from over. He left a while later with the promise of coming back tomorrow to come pick me up so we can go see his father.
