Rohan's pov 'what?!" "What do you mean?" "What the fuck?!" We all asked at the same time. 'Camilla language" my dad cautioned. "Sorry dad but is that really necessary after what you just told us?" she questioned. Suddenly he looked worn out, he rubbed a hand over his face as he heaved a sigh. "No, I guess not" he answered. "Honey, what happened?" mom asked him. They stared at each other for a long time like they were having mind link and finally my dad nodded his head. "Kids, you have to be very careful and vigilant of your environment, we have a powerful energy, one that wouldn't hesitate to wipe us all out" he warned. "Dad, tell us what happened" I insisted. He looked at my mom and when she nodded, he began. "Few weeks ago, I confronted Dickson over the issue of the missing pages and he told me that he was trying to protect it from enemies. He didn't want to give up that information till I forced him to, everyone knows that the library is impenetrable. There was a reason why it is the safest building in this pack. He completely forgot about that and he lied to me about the imaginary enemies. I decided to look into it and investigate the matter myself because I knew Dickson was a snake and he wasn't above lying. After what happened in this pack several years ago, I wasn't willing to watch and let him burn the pack into the ground. If that was his plan in the first place, I never went back to his office because I wanted him to think that I was off his case but the truth was that I wasn't. I started going to the elders in council, I told them about the meeting today and it would be in all of our interests if they attend the meeting. They all agreed and we scheduled the date to today, it was plan and I wanted to show them who the real Dickson was and how he didn't care about the pack itself just the benefit of being an alpha. I skipped to the library, the lady in charge looked at me with fear and something else lurking in her eyes but I assumed that the job was not what she signed up for, she pointed me to the conference room and I walked there, I met the door open and I thought they had started the meeting without me but I was glad they were there regardless. I opened the door and I was met with a gruesome sight, I was disgusted and shocked at the same time. All the eleven elders were dead on the floor. Their throats slit and some of their hearts ripped out, I didn't realize it was the eleven of them and I backed out of the room. I went back to the lady who started playing dumb but I wasn't in the mood to play games and I ordered her to talk which she did and she said it was, "Alpha Dickson" she said. I was shocked and I was pissed off, I stormed off to his office to go have a word or two with him. The beta didn't let me in at first but I pushed him out of the way so I could have access. I opened the door and there he was with the person I least expected to see. The elder in chief of the council, I was so shocked to see the both of them working together. I was now certain that this is the person that leaked the meeting. I made myself comfortable in order to turn the table on them. They both looked shocked that I was sitting down. The elder helped Dickson murder his pack members and that is alone to dethrone him. He told me of his plan to get a hybrid on his side and become the most powerful alpha with a secret weapon. All these I could relate to because he was very vain but I knew this wasn't to the benefit of the pack and I really would be a fool to believe that. He asked me now that I knew his plan, what I was going to do about it. He didn't give me a chance to answer because the last thing I remember was him lunging at me, his eyes turning to yellow right before I passed out. The next thing was Rohan waking up, I had no idea how I got there or who carried me. The whole place was spotless when I woke up." He finishes the story and we were all staring at him. "I am going to kill him" my mother spat venomously. "Calm down, I don't know why he didn't kill me but I am going to find out and stop whatever he is planning or concocting secretly." he vowed. We all nodded till Camilla decided to speak, "Dad, we would be careful and very alert. And I am sorry you had to go through all of that, alpha Dickson will pay with his life for trying to kill him" she spat. "Calm down sweetheart, don't do anything rash. It's going to take a lot to kill me and not by Dickson, he is a small matter I need to tie up." he said. I wasn't afraid for my dad, I was afraid of the person who dared to cross paths with him. He was formidable when crossed and now after alpha Dickson tried to kill him, he should watch his back because my father was out for blood and would be coming for him.
