CHAPTER SIXTY-NINE
Avilla's pov.
I laid on my bed as the sun hit through my windows, I was too lazy to get up from bed. I wasn't going in to school this morning. I was going to stay at home and read up on vampires instead.
They seem to be my new obsession anyways.
My aunt never came home yesterday night and she never called either. I was tired of her attitude and it pained me that I was being the adult here Instead of her.
My phone pinged signifying I had a text that would be Camilla.
You home?
Yes, you want to come over?
Do you even have to ask? On my way.
Okay.
Plus I would be bringing company...
Company? Who??
No reply from her and it made me worried so I had to double text.
Camilla, who are you bringing?!!!!
This bitch was seeing my message and wasn't replying me. I hope she wasn't bringing her brother to my house because that would make me so mad right now. She knew I didn't want to see him and she wants to bring him here?
I got up from my bed and took a shower because if he was coming, I didn't want to look like a mess when he shows up.
I got dressed in a different lounge where, a hoodie and sweats. It was comfy and the best for whatever Camilla has planned.
It was an hour later when I heard the sound of cars In front of the building. Those were a lot of people for a company.
"Come in guys" I heard her say from my bedroom.
I walked downstairs slowly and met the standing in my living room. Camilla, Chandler, Mitchell and two other girls I didn't know.
"Hi?" I said unsure.
"Hey you, it's been a while" Chandler said.
He came up to hug me and the two girls waved at me from where they stood. Mitchell gave me a smile but his eyes were focused solely on Camilla. I wanted that.
"Hey girl!" Camilla came over to hug me.
"Who are these people you brought to my house?" I asked quietly.
She laughed at me 'they are acquaintances and they are here to make here fun while you and I have a very long talk" she said giving me a long look
I rolled my eyes at her 'there is nothing to talk about" I told her.
"I beg to differ, princess" she said sarcastically.
I laughed at the title, if more I was a peasant Instead of a princess. I don't feel like one at all.
"Nice house" one of the girls complimented.
"Thank you..." I trailed off.
She seems to realize I was asking for her name because she offered it.
'Lisa and this is Raquel" she said pointing to the girl standing beside her.
"Lovely to meet you" she said offering me a smile.
I smiled back, they seemed really nice and not bitches anyways.
"Make yourselves comfortable" I told them.
"Thank you, we brought you some food and wine for the occasion" Raquel said.
"I like you guys already, thank you" I thanked them as I accepted the food and wine.
"What have you been up to?" Chandler asked.
"Nothing much, pretty much drama following me everywhere I go" I told him.
"Yeah we heard what happened in school, you and Rohan broke up because of his ex-girlfriend" Lisa inputted.
"Ex-girlfriend?" I asked, this was new information to me. That was the girlfriend, the wolf he had something with? So his new mate wasn't a wolf and he runs back to the old one.
"You didn't know, she was a bitch in school and she was best friends with Melissa" Camilla said.
"I didn't know but it's not my problem anymore" I told them.
Truthfully, it wasn't anymore. If he decides to go back to his ex then he is free because I want nothing more to do with him anymore. He has hurt me more times than I can count.
"Okay..." Camilla trailed off giving me a look.
She didn't believe how cool I was acting and I wouldn't blame her, she had no idea I met my second chance mate.
"So where are your wine glasses, so I could get them" Raquel asked.
"Oh let me go get them" I offered.
"Let me help" she said.
She followed me to the kitchen as I rummaged through the cabinets for the glass as she stood by the sink.
"I am sorry about you and Rohan anyways. Sophie has always been a bitch and I bet she came after him once she knew you guys were together" she said.
"It really doesn't matter to me now, he is still into her and I can respect that but thank you" I said giving her a smile.
"That's good, men are only good for sex and hard work" she said.
I laughed hard at her statement, "I would guess you swing the other way then?" I asked.
"Yeah, I have learnt that girls are much easier to handle than guys" she said giving me a wink.
"You are funny, I like you" I laughed.
She shrugged before motioning to the glasses, "shall we?"
"Yes please. I can't wait to drink wine" I groaned.
"You look like you need it more than we do" she said.
"Oh you don't know half of it" I told her.
Drinking wine and chilling with them could be what I need, talking about how stupid boys are and other teen related things could help me get my mind off this adult thoughts.
"Come in!" She grabbed the glasses and headed out back to the living room. I grabbed the second set and headed out too.
"You guys sure took your time in there" Chandler wiggled his brows at us.
I rolled my eyes laughing at him when Raquel hit him at the back of his head.
"Don't be silly" I told him still laughing...
