Liking You Since Childhood
Jayden smiled warmly at Agatha's response. "I was worried you might find it too heavy to hear my story, but it turns out you care a lot. Thank you, Agatha."
Agatha blushed shyly, suddenly feeling awkward. "Of course, Jayden. We are here to support each other, right? Even though we have a complicated past, we can surely create a better future."
Jayden nodded in agreement. "You're right. I'm truly lucky to have someone as kind as you by my side."
With a warm smile, they continued their conversation, planning for the days to come, finding comfort in each other's presence.
Agatha felt relieved, feeling the opportunity to continue liking Jayden. "Finally, maybe it's time to truly open my heart and let these feelings grow," she thought to herself.
She smiled to herself, reflecting on the relief and happiness enveloping her heart. Agatha felt that every moment with Jayden now became more meaningful and precious.
With a hopeful heart, Agatha was ready to embark on a new chapter in their relationship, believing that her feelings for Jayden could grow into more than just a boss and employee dynamic.
Agatha also felt grateful that Jayden was willing to open up to her. "I'm so thankful that Jayden trusts me and shares his story with me. Maybe this is the beginning of a deeper connection between us," Agatha thought with a smile.
In the silence of her heart, Agatha pondered the moments of honesty they had just experienced. She felt that their relationship would become stronger and happier in the future.
Jayden gazed at Agatha as she didn't look at him. In his gaze, there was hope and longing to ensure that Agatha was truly the childhood friend he had been searching and yearning for for years.
"May every moment with you bring back more of my forgotten childhood memories. I hope we can go back to the way things were before, Agatha," Jayden thought to himself.
He smiled discreetly, savoring the beauty of that moment, hoping that his heart could recognize traces of the past in every second spent with Agatha.
"I can't tell you now, but I've liked you since we were kids, since we were friends sharing stories together," Jayden confessed in his heart. He smiled faintly.
Jayden contemplated the long-buried feelings. His heart suddenly raced, eager to see how Agatha would react to his confession.
As time passed, Jayden always hoped to find the courage to speak honestly to Agatha and reveal his true feelings.

"It's hard to believe it's already Sunday again. Time really flies, doesn't it?"
A bright Sunday. According to Agatha's schedule, this morning was her time to clean the entire room. Luckily, Jayden was out for a morning run with Layla, so she could clean their room comfortably.
Agatha had said she wouldn't join because she wanted to clean. Even though Layla had sulked when she invited her, fortunately Jayden was able to persuade her. Agatha admitted that Jayden was really good at advising Layla to listen.
After preparing all the cleaning supplies, Agatha started by mopping her own room. But before that, she put on earphones and played her favorite music to accompany her so she wouldn't get bored and could stay motivated.
After finishing her room, Agatha moved to Jayden's room. Before entering, she took a deep breath to calm her racing heart. Some may think she's being exaggerated, but every time she entered to clean up, Agatha always felt nervous. She thought a man's room had a different ambiance compared to a woman's room.
"Wait a minute, I think I see something familiar," Agatha mumbled as her eyes caught sight of an object.
Precisely on the bedside table. She was about to start mopping the corner side first, but accidentally saw an item lying there.
She couldn't ignore it because she seemed to recognize who was in the photo inside that object.
Agatha walked closer to clarify her vision. Suddenly, as she stood right next to the bedside table and could see the photo clearly, her heart suddenly raced. A fleeting memory from the past instantly emerged in a flash.
"This, isn't it a photo of me? And that boy....," Agatha murmured as she reached for the object.
Two kids of different genders are seen hugging each other and smiling at the camera. Each posed with two fingers raised, wearing similar outfits.
Agatha covered her mouth, shaking her head in disbelief at what she was seeing. "No. It can't be. It must be just a striking resemblance."
Suddenly, Agatha felt a headache as she tried to remember the events from back then. The more she thought about the moment captured in the photo, the more her head ached and her ears buzzed.
Agatha quickly sat on the edge of the bed, holding her head suddenly in pain and discomfort.
"Why does Jayden have this photo? Who is he really?" Agatha whispered, bowing her head and closing her eyes to bear the pain.
Agatha regulated her breathing, took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. The shadows of the boy's face were not clear in her mind. Agatha wasn't sure who the boy was, but she vividly remembered that the girl next to him was herself.
Agatha stared at the photo once more when her breathing returned to normal. She fell silent for quite some time. The incident from her past and the partial loss of her memories made it difficult for Agatha to piece together the moments she once created.
"Should I ask about it? I'm sure there's something I haven't remembered yet."
Agatha wiped the object, noticing that its glass was free of any dust as if it was always cleaned every hour.
"Yes, indeed. This will be an opportunity to restore all my past memories," Agatha stood up and placed the object back in its original place.
She looked at the photo again, observed the boy's face, then after a while, a smile appeared on her lips.
"If it turns out to be as I thought, I will be very grateful because he has kept this photo safe."
A few moments after Jayden and Layla returned. Agatha immediately asked. Then after Jayden explained about the photo, Agatha felt surprised, suddenly memories started flooding back. Her eyes widened as a flash of memory seeped into her mind.
"Jayden, when I saw that photo, I felt something. I just remembered, I once had an accident, and it caused some of my memories from the past to be lost."
Jayden widened his eyes. "What do you remember?"
Agatha held her head, trying to piece together the return of her memories. "I remember my childhood friend, the boy in the photo. That's me and him."
