About Birthday Gift
"I have to rethink when the right time is. Regarding feelings, I shouldn't rush it," Jayden thought after struggling with his thoughts. He decided to close his eyes and try to sleep.
The next morning went on as usual. And until now, Jayden still couldn't decide. Just seeing Agatha made his heart race. He didn't know how it would be when he expressed his feelings and asked Agatha to be his new wife to fulfill Layla's wish.
"I really need to find a mentor in this matter," Jayden thought, exhaling softly. The name of someone suddenly popped up in his head.
"Ah, that person. In the end, I also need him in times like this," Jayden chuckled. Rey, the secretary, became the right partner to consult about feelings.
In the silence of the night, Jayden contemplated the special request from his daughter, Layla. The request to have a mother, especially Agatha.
Jayden realized that his responsibility was not only in the business realm but also in fulfilling his daughter's wishes.
'Layla wants Agatha to be her mother," Jayden murmured to himself.
Reflecting on the consequences of the promise he had made some time ago. He felt worry and lingering questions in his mind.
That night, Jayden pondered whether it was the right time to express his feelings to Agatha. Jonathan had advised not to rush, but with Layla's request, Jayden felt pressure to act faster.
"The question now is, does Agatha feel the same?" Jayden thought, involving himself in the complexity of his own feelings.
Being open about feelings is a challenge he has to face, especially because their relationship already involved work.
The next morning, Jayden was still tossed between decisions to be made. He realized the importance of determining the right time so that their feelings were not forced.
Despite the uncertainty, Jayden tried to live the day with the considerations in his heart.
Meanwhile, when Rey's name popped into his thoughts, Jayden suddenly felt that consulting with his secretary could provide valuable perspectives.
He decided to seek support and advice from Rey, who might help him navigate the maze of feelings and decisions to be made.
The weeks leading up to Layla's birthday became a surprising moment for Jayden. When Layla reminded about her request for a new mother a week before her birthday, Jayden felt bitter and unexpected.
"A new mom, right, Dad?" Layla asked innocently as they sat together in the living room.
Jayden was taken aback and tried to hide his surprise. "Ah, yes, Sweetheart. I remember."
"A promise, right, Dad?"
"Yes, Layla. I promise."
Layla smiled cheerfully, but her curiosity made Jayden contemplate.
Now, Layla's request was not just a child's wish but had become a call from her heart that was increasingly hard to ignore.
In confusion and anxiety, Jayden tried to formulate a plan in his mind. Time was pressing, and the decision made would impact their lives together.
"How can I fulfill this promise without ruining everything?" Jayden thought, seeking answers within his thoughtful self.
He realized that this decision was not only about his own feelings but also involved his daughter's heart and hopes.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Jayden's reverie was interrupted when Agatha's voice suddenly sounded. The girl had just finished bathing. She then sat next to Layla.
The fresh and bright scent of soap spread as the slightly wet, rolled-up hair that looked open and a little damp.
At moments like this, Agatha's appearance truly made Jayden's heart race. Instead of looking back, he turned his face away and gazed at someone else other than Agatha to neutralize his facial expression.
"Ah, she always keeps me from getting bored," Jayden suddenly felt uncomfortable.
"Luckily, I can still control myself."

In the late afternoon, Jayden sat by the pool in the apartment, his gaze empty staring at the calm water. His mind wandered.
Trying to put together the right words to express his feelings to Agatha. The sound of the pool water seemed to be a solace in his inner struggle.
"How can I convey all this to her?" Jayden mumbled to himself.
His gaze returned to the water, seeking answers in the reflection of the sunset shimmering on the pool surface.
"I'm still not sure of the words I should say later," Jayden continued inwardly.
"What if I make a mistake because of nervousness?" Jayden sighed deeply. Thinking about women's feelings is indeed more difficult than work.
A light step was heard behind him. Agatha approached with a friendly smile. "Hey, Jayden. Is there something on your mind?"
Jayden turned, surprised by Agatha's presence. He tried to hide his awkward expression. "Nothing. I just want to contemplate."
Agatha smiled understandingly. "If something is bothering you, don't worry too much, Jayden. Sometimes, the best solution can come on its own."
Jayden nodded, but in his heart, questions about his feelings for Agatha still dominated his mind. "What is Layla doing? Are you okay leaving her alone?"
"She's working on a special assignment I gave her. She'll have a quiz tomorrow. I thought it would train her while studying. Then I came here because I didn't want to disturb her."
Agatha sat gently next to Jayden, creating a comfortable atmosphere between them. Although Jayden was still contemplating, Agatha gave a smile full of understanding.
"If there's something you want to tell, I will listen," Agatha said gently, trying to open up space for Jayden to talk.
Jayden looked at Agatha and saw kindness in her eyes. Jayden's heart was pounding, but he tried to find the courage to express his feelings.
"Agatha, there's something I want to tell you. I..." Jayden paused, searching for the right words.
Agatha gently touched Jayden's arm, providing silent support. The night atmosphere became even more peaceful, allowing the suppressed words to surface.
Jayden fell silent, his tongue seemed tied even though his heart wanted to shout out his feelings. Agatha remained seated beside him, offering support with a gentle gaze.
Agatha understood that this might not be the right time, and she decided to give space to Jayden. "You don't have to say it now. Find the right time when you're ready," Agatha said, trying to comfort without pressure.
Jayden nodded, taken aback by her response, then he smiled, amazed by Agatha's understanding.
They sat together, contemplating under the darkening sunset sky, carrying ever-evolving feelings in Jayden's heart.
"Agatha," Jayden called with a gentle smile.
"Do you know? Layla's birthday is next week. I thought we could celebrate it together. Maybe make a small surprise for her."
"Wow? I just found out. Let's make a surprise for her!"
Agatha's eyes sparkled, delighted to hear the news. She began to think of ideas for a special birthday gift for Layla.
Jayden smiled amusedly. He didn't expect Agatha's response to be truly enthusiastic. "Don't rush. We have to think it through."
Indeed. Jayden said that actually to calm himself. He must not rush to confess his feelings. It would be better if he found the right time.
"I can't wait to give her a gift. What do you think she wants? I'm curious. Maybe I should ask her?"
Jayden smiled gleefully. "She'll surely love anything you give her."
