I Love Layla
Even though he was filled with anger, Jayden remained calm and firm. "Vania, that's not possible. Layla has made her choice, and your presence here will only make it difficult for her. We must continue our lives without you."
Vania continued to cry, feeling desperate. She tried once more to plead. "I just want to inform her, Jayden. I want Layla to know that I am her birth mother. Give me one last chance."
Jayden shook his head and responded angrily. "That won't change anything, Vania! Layla has made her decision. You need to accept this reality and leave."
Vania continued to plead with teary eyes, but Jayden remained unwavering. The decision had been made, and he wouldn't let Vania disrupt the peace and happiness he had just found. Jayden then walked away without paying attention to Vania's repeated calls.
"Calm down, it might be difficult, but—"
"Get away from me, you damn woman!" Vania snapped as Agatha touched her shoulder. She immediately pushed her away.
Agatha was taken aback by Vania's strong reaction. Despite being dismissed, Agatha remained composed. "I apologize if my actions made you uncomfortable. I just wanted to help."
Vania glared at Agatha with anger in her eyes. "You think you're great because you won over Jayden and Layla? Huh! You're just a maid who doesn't belong with them!"
Agatha chose not to respond to Vania's provocations. She nodded and chose to leave with Layla, they walked away from Vania who was overwhelmed with sadness and disappointment.
Although it was difficult, Agatha believed that Jayden's decision to protect the peace of his family was the best one.
"Is Auntie okay?" Layla asked as they walked out together.
Agatha smiled gently, trying to instill a sense of security in Layla. "Yes, Honey. Auntie is fine. Don't worry."
Layla nodded, although still looking worried about Agatha. They continued their steps toward the new life they had chosen together.
Although the journey wasn't easy, they were confident that this decision would bring happiness and peace to their small family.
They arrived at the waiting car. Jayden opened the door for Layla and Agatha, giving a small smile as a sign of warmth amidst the difficult situation.
Layla happily climbed into the back seat, and Jayden looked at Agatha. "Are you okay?"
Agatha nodded. "Of course, Jayden. We'll get through everything together, right?"
They started the journey home, carrying new hope and determination to build a better life. Despite the challenges ahead, their togetherness became a solid pillar.
"Sorry about earlier, you must have been very surprised."
"It's okay, Jayden. If that's the best way to resolve the issue, I'm fine with it."
Agatha tried to smile to ease the tension. Although the situation was difficult, she wanted to provide support to Jayden.
After that conversation, Jayden and Agatha decided to stop by an ice cream shop as a small escape from the tense situation. They chose their favorite ice cream flavors, trying to find comfort in the sweetness amidst uncertainty.
"Ice cream always helps relieve stress, right?" Jayden said, trying to create a lighter atmosphere.
Agatha nodded in agreement. "Indeed, sometimes we need a little pleasure to momentarily forget all the problems."
They sat in a corner of the shop, enjoying their ice cream while talking about lighthearted things, trying to momentarily forget the recent events. Although the awkwardness still lingered, the ice cream provided some relief.

At Jayden's house, the tense atmosphere was felt when Vania arrived to seek help. Grandmother Sarah and Kinara looked on with pity, while Jonathan appeared very angry. The luxurious house that had seemed quiet before now echoed with shouts and cries.
Jonathan yelled in front of Vania, who was begging. "What makes you dare to come here again after all you've done?!"
Vania cupped her hands and knelt in front of Jonathan with teary eyes. "Uncle, please listen to me. I know I made a big mistake, but—"
Before Vania could continue, Jonathan threw harsh words at her, and a heartbreaking physical contact occurred.
Jonathan slapped Vania's cheek hard. "You have no place here anymore! There's no need to explain anything because I won't care about you! Get out of here, you low woman!"
Grandma tried to approach and touch Jonathan's shoulder. "Jonathan, calm down. Let's talk more nicely."
Kinara also stood beside Grandma Sarah. While looking at Jonathan who was already emotional. "We can't forget the past, but we also have to find a way to resolve this without violence, Jo."
However, the atmosphere remained heated and full of emotions. Apparently, Jonathan truly hated Vania as he removed his mother's hand from his shoulder and threw sharp looks at Vania once more.
Jonathan despised Vania so much for ruining his child's future and his family's reputation.
Vania bowed down, crying heavily. "I know I was wrong, but I want to make amends. Layla is my child, and I want to be part of her life."
"You have forfeited your right to be part of Layla's life! And I won't give you another chance!" Jonathan threatened.
Vania continued to whimper and tried to explain to Jonathan, "Uncle, please, I love Layla. I'm willing to do anything to fix my mistakes."
Jonathan, mercilessly, spat on the clean floor in front of Vania, showing his disgust. "Never mention Layla as your child! You don't deserve a place in her heart! Jayden has been the one taking care of her, not you!"
Surprised, Vania, feeling humiliated, tried to crawl towards Jonathan, seeking mercy. "I know I was wrong, but I want to prove that I can be a good mother to Layla."
However, Jonathan only responded with more insults. Sarah and Kinara tried to hold back tears watching this emotional battle. They couldn't do anything even though they wanted to.
Jonathan pointed at Vania's face with a firm gaze. "You never change! You only come here out of fear of losing something, not out of love for your child! You must be here to ask for money, right? Just admit it if you've been deceived by your foreign lover! I also know that your family has abandoned you!"
Feeling deeply hurt, Vania's chest felt tight and painful. With difficulty, she tried to wipe away her tears. "Uncle, please, I beg you...."
Jonathan relentlessly continued to reprimand Vania. "Stop your cheap drama! You will never be part of this family! Stop your tears because I will never accept you again! You have embarrassed my family enough in the past!"
In pain, Vania whimpered, but she refused to leave until her efforts succeeded. She wouldn't give up even if it meant risking her pride. She just wanted to redeem her mistakes and fix everything.
Frustrated and angry, Jonathan cursed Jayden who wasn't there as Vania kept pleading. "Jayden Byhantara! You have to deal with this! That crazy woman shouldn't be my concern!"
"That damn child really makes me trouble!" Jonathan cursed. Ruffling his hair with frustration towards Jayden.
Jonathan then took his phone and called Jayden, forcing Jayden to handle the situation with Vania.
The tense atmosphere continued to surround Jayden's house, making everyone inside feel pressured and compassionate about the unresolved issue.
"Answer the phone, naughty child!" Jonathan shouted while putting the phone to his ear.
