Equally Happy
Agatha sat at the cafeteria table with a worried look, and finally confided in Aluna, "Actually, I work as a nanny for the CEO's child, Jayden Byhantara. We live together in a luxurious apartment."
Aluna looked at Agatha with wide eyes, very surprised. "Really? Seriously? How is that possible? Why didn't you tell me before?"
Agatha took a long breath. "I was afraid it would change our relationship, but I can't hide it anymore."
Aluna sighed softly, a little disappointed. "So, you lied to me all this time? I always thought we shared everything, Agatha. Why didn't you trust me?"
Agatha paused for a moment, trying to explain. "I was afraid of losing you as a friend. Jayden wanted to keep this secret."
Aluna absorbed Agatha's words with a hesitant expression. "This isn't just about secrecy, Agatha. It's about trust. I feel disappointed."
Agatha looked at Aluna with regret in her eyes. "Aluna, I'm truly sorry. I didn't mean to hide this from you, but the situation is complicated, and I was afraid of losing you."
Aluna still looked upset, but her eyes began to show a hint of tenderness. "Sorry doesn't change the fact that you hid it from me, Agatha."
Agatha nodded weakly. "I understand, Aluna. I hope we can get through this together."
Although initially feeling betrayed, Aluna eventually smiled sincerely. "Although I feel disappointed, seeing you living in a better place makes me happy, Agatha. You've been through so much, and I'm glad to see you finding the comfort you deserve."
Agatha, who initially looked down, then looked at Aluna and smiled with relief. "Thank you, Aluna. I'm truly grateful to have a friend like you who understands and stays with me even in difficult situations."
Aluna responded with a cheerful smile. "Of course, Agatha. We will always go through all the ups and downs together. I'm happy to see you happy now."
"But from now on, you have to share your stories with me. I don't want you to hide anything from me again. Understand?" Aluna continued firmly, her eyes filled with firmness and trust.
Agatha responded joyfully. "Of course, Aluna. I promise not to hide anything again. We will go through everything together."
After that, Aluna asked many questions about Agatha's new life, and Agatha happily answered. They both started to rebuild trust and intimacy in their friendship.
Agatha decided to be more open with Aluna, considering it an important step to strengthen their relationship.
"So, what was your first impression after living there? It must have been really nice, right?"
Agatha laughed softly. "Yes, truly amazing. Everything is so comfortable, and Jayden and his child are very kind to me. It feels like living in a dream."
"That is the result of the patience you have shown all this time. I'm so proud of you, Agatha." Tears of pride shone on Aluna's face, showing her sincere support for her friend.
"Yes, you're right. I'm also very grateful to that man."
"By the way, Agatha. I just found out that you can take care of a child. Does it give you a hard time? Is the job worth the salary you receive?"
Agatha candidly shared her experience. "It was difficult at first, but over time, I got used to it. The salary is indeed worth it, and I learned a lot from this responsibility."
"What about the child of a CEO? Is she very pretty and easy to handle? Ah, I can't imagine how tiring your job must be, Agatha."
Agatha chuckled lightly, "What about the child of a CEO? She's very beautiful and smart, although sometimes a little mischievous. Although this job is tiring, seeing the child's development makes all the effort meaningful and enjoyable."

"Agatha! Agatha! I have good news!"
"Oh, luckily I didn't get a heart attack." Agatha rubbed her chest as Aluna suddenly arrived and tapped her shoulder quite hard.
But the culprit just grinned innocently while sitting next to Agatha. "You must be curious, right? Try guessing first."
"Hm, unusual? It must be good news because your pocket money has been increased, right?"
Aluna shook her head noisily. "No way. I was actually told to earn my own money if I want extra snacks."
Agatha chuckled briefly and started thinking again. "Maybe you were asked out by the handsome guy you had a crush on that time, right?"
"Hey!" Aluna widened her eyes in shock. But after that, she burst out laughing. "Wrong guess! Your guess is way off. Besides, it turns out that guy already has a girlfriend."
Agatha narrowed her eyes, then sighed. "Then what is it? I give up."
Aluna smiled sweetly while reaching for both of Agatha's hands. Agatha, who was surprised and confused at the same time, furrowed her brow. Her feelings suddenly became uneasy seeing Aluna's expression.
"So, what is it?"
"My mom gave permission to invite you to our house last night!" Aluna shouted with sparkling eyes. "Seriously! I'm so happy to know that!"
Seeing Aluna's excitement, Agatha actually looked incredulous. It seemed highly unlikely that Aluna's mother, who didn't like her, suddenly accepted her.
Agatha suddenly wondered if she had finally given in and been swayed by Aluna's endless persuasions?
"Why did she agree? What did you say that made your mom melt like that?" answered Agatha, her mind very curious.
"Something happened. You don't need to worry about it. The important thing is you can come to my house now. Oh, I mean we can study together after such a long time!"
Agatha was still puzzled and unsatisfied without getting a reason, but when she saw how happy Aluna was, she couldn't continue to be suspicious. She smiled happily. She hugged Aluna, who had always been loyal to her until now.
"Thank you. You're the only friend who didn't leave even though you know about my life. I always pray for your happiness."
Aluna patted Agatha's back. She never had a thought of leaving that girl. No matter how many obstacles tried to separate their relationship, Aluna would always remain loyal to Agatha.
"Hey, don't just pray for my happiness, you have to be happy yourself too. How can I be happy if you aren't?"
Agatha smiled softly. "If you're happy, I'll be happy too."
Aluna released her hug. Then looked at Agatha disapprovingly. "And I won't be happy if you aren't happy, Agatha."
Agatha was stunned for a moment, but then grinned. "Well, the bottom line is we must be happy together."
"Definitely! Even if we have to be sad at first, but I always believe that happiness will come in the end!" Aluna replied with fiery enthusiasm.
Agatha grinned. Before the next second, she remembered something. "Oh, but I have to ask Jayden's permission first."
"Don't worry about that. I'm very sure he will give permission. He will also understand if you tell him about our relationship all this time. If not now, when else can we learn together freely, right?"
Agatha nodded. "Right. He will definitely understand."
